My third comment, I just want to thank you, Alfred! We greatly appreciate what you do. You were out here for Ian and you are out here again, sparing your time and kindness. You are a good samaritan for sure!!!! Thanks for all you do!
It's not so much the chit or the show, but rather your caring, compassion , and empathy you show for people in these situations that keep us watching and admiring you. God bless you, brother.
Years ago, I was going to buy a home in Florida. My wife talked o me into change my mind because of the hurricanes. I'm so glad now she changed my mind for that. Now just spent my winters in rented homes. I feel so bad for all the losses that people have saved to live in tropical paradises and then things like this happens to them.
We all appreciate you showing us the perspective of a true Floridian. Just like Fishman Joe said, don’t trust the media. Be safe out there and God bless the people affected with the hurricane. And yes, I will be contributing to some relief efforts as all subscribers should.
Thank you so much Alfred for letting me see this kind of damage this is stuff that we don't normally see on the news it's so heartbreaking that couple has worked hard all their life and to have a home away from home be damaged . We deal with tornadoes here in Wisconsin in fact we had a bad one hit about a mile from my house in June
Alfred I'm new to your Channel. I saw a lot of RUclips channels covering what's going on down there in Florida I even did a video on it myself but, I joined your channel because I can see the sincerity, I can see that you're honestly and jingly concerned about the people and when you went into that woman house and when she allowed you to come in her house that was so endearing. I'm praying for you my brother God bless you for all the things that you do I will be honored to stay on your Channel, Good Bless Keep up the good work.❤❤❤❤
Thank you for your video! In the beginning, you were talking to your friend on the phone & came to a 4 way intersection of a main road where the stop lights were out & you didn't stop. Please, please, please for your safety & other's make sure you & anyone watching this, stop at 4 ways when power is out & stop lights not working! You never know when someone from the other direction is doing the same thing & it could end up bad! I had a friend who was a passenger that was killed in the same situation as the driver thought it was so early & after a storm. You never know! Please be safe & thank you for your videos!
From Kuwait, we share with the United States of America our condolences and sincere sympathy for the government and the friendly American people, as well as for the families of the victims, due to Hurricane Milton that swept through the state of Florida, and we wish the injured a speedy recovery.
The lady in the mobile home had a great idea of putting her china in the dishwasher. I love that idea! I will start doing that. Thank her for the idea if you can!
Alfred, when you went through the mobile home park, on Canada Street I actually rented a mobile home there for about 6 months. Years later I ended up living up the street just off the bay with the canal running through my backyard. It's called Bayshore gardens.
I am from Pakistan and I greatly appreciate you bringing the latest information about the hurricane Milton's destruction. It's a very painful situation in Florida.
I feel so bad for these people, my heart goes out to them. Alfred those heavy cables below the thin power lines are phone cable. You stay safe. Thanks for these views, hard to fathom here in northern CA.
Alfred have friends on Okeechobee lake community that got hit by all the tornadoes from Milton. They are safe but unable to go check on their Home. TY Brother St. Augustine.
Thank you for getting out there and show us ...Thank for saving the turtle ..who was there when you said : dude this where it was ??? Who was there ? Dude
wow you are in my former hometown, now im homesick :( prayers for these people down there. its awful. BTW, at 8:54 that is Weather Channel Jim Chartone lol
You should have written down your information for her. I doubt she will remember because they look like they were in shock and despair about the damages caused. She was so trusting too to allow you in her home. I hope no one takes advantage of these people in these trying times. I am praying for everyone affected 🤲
Moved from Sarasota 4 years back. Watching my ol bicycle routes along the Marina Jacks/O'Leary's destroyed is painful. We rode out Irma and soon moved. 8 years of hurricane roulette was enough. Shout out to Sixer , My fishing associates all along Lido , Van weisel , 10th st.boat launch , Lemon bay , casperson park , and all along the ringling bridge. God bless and good luck y'all from the lake of the ozarks Missouri!
I'm Brazilian, I've never been to the USA but I really want to go. São Paulo, on the night of this Friday (11) strong gusts of wind were recorded in several regions of the state, in addition to a lot of rain. The highest speed recorded was in the South Zone of the capital of São Paulo, where the winds reached 107 km/h (66.4867). We were desperate. Imagine a class 1 hurricane of 119 km/h (73.9432) in Brazil. You are artists in real life. Everything that happens in fiction happens in reality. Brave warriors.
Thank you so much for your help! Many prayers for all those affected & especially all the first responders!! Law Enforcement, Fire, EMS (My mom & I were EMTs), and 911 Dispatchers (my daughter was one for 19+ yrs). They are a special breed who stay in harms way for others.
I have subscribed for a while now and enjoy your content. Kind suggestion here (as PI) when you video to capture a scene remember NOT to pan/scan the area so fast. The audience gets dizzy and can't see anything. Also, when you come to a new area, show zoom out so we get the whole context and then zoom in. again slowly. For the most part it appears that you try to do that..but boy, please try to improve on that. Thanks Alfred.
Oh my word, we are in Okeechobee, Florida, we are good. I am saying wow to this. Unbelieveable. I styed at home. Never agin here. I will go to a motel.
I am so happy that that person that you’re talking to on the phone said that stuff about everything about the news he is absolutely correct but people still there and watch it. I feel bad for them. I really do I feel bad for the people watching TV news. Thank you for saying that they are toxic. Good job buddy you’re a patriot.
Please explain to your friend the entire world is watching florida. And we are sending contributions, and prayers because of the media. Just like Hawaii fires and other catastrophies.
My prayers for all those who have some or any loss during Hurricane Milton... Good job getting the word out. But...The trees still have leaves on them and the tree bark is still attached to the trees..Also the lawn grass is still attached to ground. Obviously he has never seen the aftermath of a Cat 5 in the Caribbean like in the lesser Antilles or Puerto Rico. We got lucky with Milton. Cat 5's in the Caribbean don't lose strength on landfall because there just isnt enough land to weaken them, so you get a Cat 5 coming in, and a Cat 5 going out. After Hurricane Maria in PR, the most incredible thing I saw was a car shish kabob'd on a telephone pole and the weird thing is that pole was still standing upright.
I noticed that on many of the Florida palm trees that were still standing that the palm prones were still stuck in the direction that the sustained 120mph winds were last blowing, after the the eye came and shifted the wind in the opposite direction. Man, that's crazy😳
Most fortunately, it was not as bad as Ian. WIth the exception of the satan spawned tornadoes, most things are in tact. The winds were not as bad and it seems noone got the kind of storm surge that Ian brought. Thank LORD JESUS!!!! THere were LOTS of prayers for Florida. God hears us🙏🙌🙌
Years ago, a "small tornado" came through my community; on the ground maybe 10 minutes. I went out with my chainsaw to see if i could rescue anyome or cut trees off of cars/homes...I found lots of people around a garage that had a tree blocking the door and on the roof. I said i can help if the owner approved. A man said:"this is my house; but the garage flew in from somewhere; broke the tree landing there.
Alfred, where you're at at Sarasota bayfront is north of siesta key. Do you have to go to southbound 41 to gulfgate and turn right what to go over the bridge to the north side of siesta.
My friend, it's not just Floridians that are concerned about these storms. I'm in Chicagoland; and i have dozens of friends, and 3 generations of family living in Florida. They're in the north, south and both east/west coasts.
This damage from Milton in this area of Florida looks much less damaged than western North Carolina and Tennessee from Helene. The people here will recover much quicker than those poor mountain people. This looks great.
I always find it odd when someone looking at the damage caused by a hurricane calls it " unbelievable." What do you expect when you combine high wind, driving rain, storm surge, shifting sand, and possibly tornadoes all mixed together. I visited Florida for the first time in 1961 the summer after hurricane Dona hit Ft. Myers nothing looked like the travel ads. We moved to Ft. Myers Beach in 1966 and while boating around with my best friend we still found pieces of boats and houses stuck in the areas you could only get to by boat. Although I do find the pictures of the damage terrible I am not surprised or shocked by them. After 54 years living in Florida I am happy I moved out of state.
Alf... if you had a yacht which cost you a bundle... and a pending hurricane forecasted to hit you directly... with a week+ notice... would you move it somewhere else? ...and FYI, that aluminum you saw wrapped around the pole wasn't a trailer... it was a roof or awning. Most of the trailers seem to be intact for a direct hit.
Ok so you are driving around and showing the devastation, do you have needed supplies just in case you run in to people you can physically help? Just curious…😵💫😵💫
Well Alfred either you weren’t around with Andrew or you don’t remember that there were no leaves left on any trees with a left especially in Cutler Ridge. Franco & Caribbean Blvd the concrete signal poles were completely gone. I feel for these people but very lucky it wasn’t much more devastating!!!🙏🙏🙏🙏
My daughter and son in law got stuck there in sarasota with my two grandaughters. They had a flat tire so couldnt leave. What a vacation in the family home eh
My third comment, I just want to thank you, Alfred! We greatly appreciate what you do. You were out here for Ian and you are out here again, sparing your time and kindness. You are a good samaritan for sure!!!! Thanks for all you do!
Thanks 4 saving the turtle! What a great man u are! Hope all is well with u and your family!❤
It's not so much the chit or the show, but rather your caring, compassion , and empathy you show for people in these situations that keep us watching and admiring you. God bless you, brother.
You are so kind!! That turtle appreciates you too! Stay safe

Thank you for taking the time to talk to those people from Ohio. You warmed my heart to know that someone was willing to help them

I wonder how they manage the money. I don't trust it
@@linamarie84I’m with you on that. I know some people down there I’d rather help directly so I know it’s getting to them…
Proud to be a member on your channel , you are a good Guy ❤️💪🙏

Thanks for the video Alfred. You always do such an excellent job. This is better than all the so-called professional news crews
Thank you for caring and sharing. You provide a potentially life saving service with your work. God bless.😊

Alfred, the 10th Street boat ramp that you were at is where they put the big offshore power boats in with cranes for the Suncoast offshore Grand Prix.
Just watching this from south Africa, God bless all the people going through this tragedy 🙏🙏🙏 thanks Alfred for your videos

Alfred, when you went through the mobile home park, on Canada Street I actually rented a mobile home there for about 6 months. Years later I ended up living up the street just off the bay with the canal running through my backyard. It's called Bayshore gardens.
Was that in Trailer Estates? That neighborhood where he met Rich and his wife giving the tour inside the mobile home. Looked very familiar to me.
I am from Pakistan and I greatly appreciate you bringing the latest information about the hurricane Milton's destruction. It's a very painful situation in Florida.
It's not even happened? How can that be possible
Im an idiot. I was wrong I'm sorry
Thank you for filming this Alfred, you have some amazing shots. Watching from Michigan.
Thanks Linda

Wow 😲!!!!
Rich and his wife are so cute and they are Buckeye fans! So sad, but they are safe.
The boat Alamar at 20:31 is from Helene not Milton. I live a couple of blocks from Bay Front Park.

agreed, the media is toxic. That is why we all turn to RUclips to watch these videos, to get the truth. Thank you!

I like your friend, “defund the news!” Lol
No wonder boats blow up on land. Or wooden houses torn apart when lying on the beach in a hurricane-prone area. Terrible for those affected though.
Reg and his wife ❤️ I hope they can mend their broken home.
I noticed that on many of the Florida palm trees that were still standing that the palm prones were still stuck in the direction that the sustained 120mph winds were last blowing, after the the eye came and shifted the wind in the opposite direction. Man, that's crazy😳
Alfred, I know exactly where you're at Sarasota bayfront, right next to Marina Jack's, were they just had the Suncoast boat show a few months ago.
God hears us🙏🙌🙌
Just moved down to St. AUGUSTINE, omg watching this video on u tube blows my mind. The trailer park n the devastation is beyond words. 😢

I remember a barge beached at a road intersection in Port Arthur, TX after hurricane Reta. It’s amazing what the storm surge can do.
That's so sad. I hate the aftermath of hurricanes. I feel so sorry for those people.
To be honest I’m amazed so many buildings are still standing. If that was here- it would all be flat
Praying for everyone there
You are the man bro! I’ll be posting my chase video soon.
I'll be watching Dan
Greetings from Puerto Rico ! Need some paper towels?
