Dude, other than the hilt I've built myself, just for show, I don't even own a lightsaber yet, but have been researching for a year or more, and you are the most informative youtuber I've seen thus far. I've never seen anything indicating any negativity towards anyone who wants any type of saber at all. In fact you go out of your way to express that no matter what you're looking for, there is something great out there for you to buy. Also, as far as "the big one" you've had the common things to say about them, but have also mentioned that if you're lucky enough to get your order, it should serve well, and be a great saber. That's all I've seen anyways. Good job man.
@@marcywiththegoodhair4365 Sadly most of the saber community don't have many subs, but their views are almost always at least double if not triple times larger than their sub counts.
I literally just walked into this world yesterday. I knew "Lightsabers" existed but I had no idea how far the saber and the tech behind it has come since i bought one when I was in high school. (A LONG TIME AGO) When I went to look at the websites of the companies from a quick google search I was just baffled. Most of the terminology and the tech that was being offered, or choices to build one seemed like a different language entirely. So I spent most of the last 24 hours watching videos like yours and a few other people on here that have really made a whole world of difference from an education standpoint. In regards to people trying to misconstrue your words or thoughts on different product lines or different manufacturers, you have to defend yourself and your positions of course, but just have a thick skin bro. Whether it's lightsabers, a local carwash, or a youtube instructional hobbyist, people are going to go on the offensive against you.....or reach to find reasons to come after you if you take a negative position against anything warranted or unwarranted. All I can say, is that after watching a few of your videos, and some others in addition, I feel like I at least have a basic level of knowledge now about these products to try and avoid making a bad mistake when paying what is a rather large chunk of change for some personal fun in my basement when my girlfriend is not around to call me Peter Pan and rip on what will be my new hobby! Thank you!
Wish I'd seen this 4 months ago. I really appreciate what people like yourself and Saber Sourcing are trying to do for the community. I wish you all the continued growth and success you deserve.
Ultrasabers does a good enough job smearing themselves. I had horrible experiences with them and their product quality. Thankfully I paid with paypal and was able to get my money refunded. I will not buy anything from ultrasabers again and will discourage others to do so whenever possible.
@@abbadonthevoidwanderer7116 I'm not sure about that particular model but in my experience, lgt sabers are a good bang for your buck. Especially the mystery boxes. My only issue with lgt is the speakers aren't very loud. For an extra 10 or 15 dollars they could make a much better product
Just ordered a gift for my buddy’s birthday and they sent me the wrong hilt. Was rudely told to fix their mistake I needed to pay them a $132 “restocking fee” since they are custom made. US said regardless of it being their mistake they make it clear any returns is a 20% fee no exceptions. Wish I knew they had a F rating on the better business bureau before I ordered the score is well deserved.
Thank you for the support! I fully agree, people have different measures of "value," and I, nor anyone else, can tell you whether something isn't to your liking. We can only give suggestions and opinions, but it's ultimately up to you to decide whether or not you like it!
I agree, I got my Rebelsabers Stalwart back on October 20th and I’ve been satisfied ever since. While I prefer to mute the sound as it just sounds awkward when you swing it. It doesn’t have smooth swing and it shouldn’t and I wasn’t expecting it as it’s a 90$ saber. I got what I wanted and I’m happy. I go outside while it’s dark and swing it around, flourish it. It’s really fun. Probably the most fun I’ve had. I plan to keep on using it for the foreseeable future. Thank you for suggesting Rebelsabers as well as saving me the heartache of getting potentially screwed by either ultrasabers or saberforge. Also a message to those who have an ultrasaber or saberforge lightsaber. If it’s not broken and you are happy with it. Cool, have fun with it. That’s all that matters. Don’t feel ashamed because you likely didn’t know about these bad things about those companies. Now that you know this, you can try out one of the other companies if you intend on getting another saber. That choice is up to you. Just be sure to do your research before buying from any company.
I thought I would have buyers remorse after I ordered my Sabertrio Skylar. I am happy to say I have had NO remorse whatsoever, I am extremely happy with my Skylar and plan on ordering with them agian.
Honestly im so thankful for having found your channel just in time before buying from a company that doesn't care about their customers, saved me my money!
I'm a bit late to the party but man have you been helpful in my journey for learning about sabers. Because of you I learned of Crimson Dawn, probably my new favorite saber vendor at the moment for how fast they ship sabers, I bought a base-lit specter and it'll be here in 5-7 days from now. I can't wait to have it my hands! here soon I wanna build my own saber from scratch by buying all the parts and installing everything on my own as a fun DIY project. If not for you I wouldn't of found the confidence in doing so.
Might come out extreme, but I love you man!!! I just got into star wars being 22 I'm late to the party, so after watching the first 6 films and clone wars I decided to buy a lightsaber, within the first day of even watching the films I would get constant ads of ultrasabers. I didn't really think much about it and I browsed their website and found 1 I liked had it in my cart went to get my card but there was a disturbance in the force🤣 so I went on RUclips found this gem and this channel and was relived. Now I'm saving a bit more and doing more research before I buy. Thank you again and may the force be with you
Just started watching all your videos yesterday and I didn't get the vibe you were shaming at all. Strictly informative in almost all of your videos. Keep up the great work brother!
Also, I'm brand new to the Saber community. Hoping to contribute to the Golden Harvest v3 community soon! Maybe one day I can reach the Proffie status. Lol. Thanks again for all your content!
You are fine. Calling out a piece of junk helps others. You should feel free to voice your opinion I would ignore all the negativity. Your videos are great. We've all heard the expression buyer beware. Your advice as an expert in the field is helpful to everyone.
So glad I found your channel! You turned me onto Sabertrio and I got a neopixel Skylar and became a kid again with what I thought I looked like back in 2005 with those telescopic plastic sabers! I am definitely gonna grab 2 stunt Arclytes and a coupler from them next for a staff!
Thanks! I saw a TikTok with the caption lightsaber combat. Who knew there was such a thing. But it had me googling. Ultra came up, looked good, was gonna buy. Called to ask a question and voicemail said “email us, you will get a quicker response”. I was driving so.. when I parked for the night I RUclips lightsabers. First video 7 best lightsaber co. Mentioned #7 then said avoid Ultrasabers like the plague. Then watch your terminology video, then this one. Thanks, you saved me $500.00.
Buyers remorse came hard with my Ultrasabers Archon 3.1 with the Obsidian soundboard, the second I saw what Smooth-Swing and NeoPixel was it just felt weird to move it and get that incomplete sound. I still used it to duel with my best friend, but it was just weird. That being said, I can't wait to order my Sabertrio Reaver tomorrow, also awesome video!
I am very thankful for you warning me about ultrasabers, don't sweat the people who are trying to bring you down, you have been so positive bringing trustworthy reliable information to improve customers decision making and buying savers, truly appreciate that
Just bought my first saber from Electrum Sabercraft thanks to your vid going through the different budgets. Didn't even know about them prior to that vid and almost made the mistake of buying from a saber forging site. Thank you so much for your honest, informative content! Happy to finally be a part of this community!
You are officialy my favorite Saber Source! So many details! So much info. I learned everything I know now about Lightsabers from you man! And I wish I would have found you sooner bevor I bought from Dyna**** Sabers. My Saber from them does not work and it took them 12 Days to figure out that I should probably get my battery replaced...If that does not work they will send me replacment parts and after that god knows whats going to happen. I just want my money back and wait for SaberTrio to come back. Anyone who feels attacked by your videos and your commentary is utterly blind and dumb. I infact! did not get mad at you...but at myself for not researching more then I should have. I am so glad that your videos exist insteed of hating because I now know that my saber for 140€ isn't the best I thought it would be! Keep up the extremly good videos! Can't wait for the next one!
First saber I ever bought was from Ultra Sabers. Never had to deal with their customer service, actually got it in a decent amount of time, and it was 100% functional and built well. I was honestly excited to get it, hold it, turn it on and felt like a big kid. Then, I got a bane mk2 from Saberforge neopixel, the quality of the hilt and electronics blew my mind and made me re think everything about Ultra. Damn Ultra instantly felt extremely oversized and electronics felt subpar, and spent the same amount of money. Never had to deal with Saberforge customer service either got it within the lead time. Maybe I’m lucky? But the product blew Ultra out of the water. Then……I got a sabertrio……Jesus AMAZING can’t tell if the electronics are better (minus aux switches), or brightness, but the sound is way better. This thing…..made my Ultra feel like a Hasbro plastic slide blade $30 toy but AT THE SAME PRICE as Saberforge and Sabertrio. Experiences were all good with them all, in the moment of unboxing…then you get something better for the same price SHIT! Then another one even better than the last, again at the same price. Then you feel real stupid about your first decision.
I think considering what is being done out there you were extremely professional, I for one know first hand some of the things you talked about and saw first hand the shocking unprofessional actions taken by one company in particular. Awesome sound quality keep up the good info!
Reddit is not a reliable source. Those people bring politics and BS into the corner. You RUclips guys are where it’s at. Your kind honest and seem genuine. Keep up the good work!
Thank you for a great informative video. I’ve been interested in sabers since 1977 with the very first Star Wars movie (episode iv) when it came out. Still can’t afford one but I like information in case I find the money somewhere amongst finishing several other projects first. It’s nice to know that somebody, (and I follow a few that feel as you do about certain “companies”) has the cajones to say it so professionally. Kudos and thanks!
I’m still new to this hobby. All i own are two mystery from the do not buy company. Got them a few years ago before I really looked into this. And like I said it’s been a few years. I didn’t order again from them and haven’t from anyone. But am looking around to see what I really want. I now keep mine from them in my toy car and use it as a hood prop.
Yes you are correct. I am new to lightsabers so I decided to do a google search and typed in the word light sabers and ultra sabers was top choice with pictures. I checked out their site but I always search the item on youtube before I buy anything. I you tubed ultra sabers and your video was number one which when I saw I said let me see this and why he says this. Long story short you saved me time money and headache thank you.
I’ve watched a few of your videos on choosing a saber to buy and I ultimately settled on the sabertrio aeryn fx saber with a cfx soundboard upgrade! Looking forward to when that arrives
in my opinion to all of you out there looking for your first saber make sure you read a lot and take your time. I regret this to this day when 3 years ago blowing 300 dollars on a saber from saber forge and boy was it not worth that much. I got a single led that looked like a flashlight with a yellow tint soundboard was meh I've heard and seen better customer service sucked they wanted to charge me recently an arm and a leg to fix my saber cause it won't turn on and my led seemed to get much dimmer over time. Lando gives some great recommendations for where to buy some amazing quality sabers and I can't wait to try one of the services out. also, great video!!!
anyone that watched your very in-depth and comprehensive video about "that company" and all they took from it was "hes calling me trash because i was fooled by the very marketing he is warning us about" then they probably dont have enough braincells to rub together in the first place. I wouldn't be worried your videos have been a fantastic resource for me when buying my first saber and I can only thank you for that.
Yes, I watched the video about why u shouldn’t buy from there and I remember u saying “that people can buy from there but u want to inform us about what ur buying” so I understand u where just saying the cons about their sight
Like it was like 5-6 years ago when I got my first saber that wasn’t an official legends and I kept seeing ads for ultra sabers and yk I got one way overpriced but I didn’t know at the time so I payed it and I wish I knew this then so I wouldn’t have but I thank you now because you are helping people that have no idea what they are doing that are new or like you said parents that there are these stupid companies like ultra sabers and I am so glad that your video pops up first when you search ultra sabers and under that there’s a video titled why people hate ultra sabers so now people are starting to see the truth so thank you so much for looking out for the little guys/girls that don’t know what is what
I knew these companies was trash but not this trash. thank you for explaining all this. Im 100% buying from sabertrio or vaders vault from now on. And its much better to focus on the positive stuff then the negative things. and wasting your energy on all the bad things in the world is defenently something i try not to do. I wish that there where just companies like sabertrio in the world and things would be so much better. This was quite a long comment😄
Sorry for my non perfect english and my spelling. Im 13 and live in sweden so i just try my best to write as good as i can. I am very new to lightsabers i have 1 ultrasabers stunt saber and i really like it but there just so many better options out there sorry if you have to reply and read all this but i just wanted to say it all.
mate, crimson dawn is selling sabers that have a slightly better soundboard than sabertrio does for $200, check it out. But if you have a good budget then sabertrio will make you pretty happy
@@pianopride212 Ive never had a LGTOY so i couldn’t tell you if theyre copies but they are legit the saber is nice and bright soundboard is good and the customer service was helpful I will say though since it is a budget saber dont expect a perfect Sabertrio saber but if you are lookikg for a budget neopixel saber that you get within a week they r definitely the best go to
@@pianopride212 As far as I can tell they mostly retrofit the frames with better parts. If you're getting the cheapest version then go with the AliExpress ones. No biggie on returns and customer service if it's a $40 basic saber, but Crimson Dawn sell those mass produced chinese hilts (that I actually think are pretty nice) in all sorts of different configurations (including some of the cheapest neopixel/proffie setups). I'd rather pay $200 for a chinese saber frame with all the high end parts installed than $600-800 for the same parts in an original hilt designed in-house by one of the other companies. Can you get them direct from LGTOY with those parts installed? I could be wrong but I think they're reselling cost effective mass-produced hilts with upgraded setups at a great price compared to the competition. If they had original in-house hilt designs and manufacturing then their prices would be as high as the other saber houses, so it seems like they're filling a great niche in the market.
As an owner of an ultrasaber that I bought over 6 years ago now, I really thought that the crappy quality of the internal components (electrical tape and hot glue being used) was normal for sabers, however watching these videos and doing research on other brands has shown me just how much I got scammed.
Nice video. The only thing I would mention is that the FCC does not have jurisdiction over RUclips content. As such the sponsorship concern you mentioned is moot. The FCC governs things like radio and television *broadcasts*, not other forms of media. I will commend you on following those guidelines as they are an honest approach nonetheless. Now, I don't know if the FTC or States attorneys general would have jurisdiction over such a thing, but that is beyond my scope of knowledge.
I'm looking into buying a neopixel Lightsaber from Saber Forge. I understand that they have different "tech tiers" and that you need to purchase Hero Tier and then choose a neopixel blade in order to get your saber as neopixel, however, I understand that Neopixel blades are less durable than some other blades (Such as the V4 infinity blade that Saber Forge sells). Would it be possible to switch to a sturdier blade for harder dualing? Anyone who can answer would be appreciated. Thank you!
i wish i had this a year ago, this one starwars account i followed on insta had a giveaway of one of a high quality saber for free. it sent you to an unlicensed starwars merch site and had you pay 20 dollars for shipping, it wasn't too much but i could've gone out to eat or used my money for something else, because when it got to my house it was a plastic collapsible saber that came in a plastic bag. it sucked getting scammed like that and wish i didn't do it.
I don't have any saber yet but I've been doing research on where my first buy should be. Obviously Ultrasabers are absolute scum so I'm steering clear of them. I understand that Saberforge is not well liked in the community after doing some research and looking at the r/lightsabers subreddit, but damn I really like their hilt designs and the amount of variety. I guess I could always buy one of their sabers/hilts second hand without giving them money directly. Sabertrio sounds really great and I would love to get one of their Neopixel sabers. My only issue with them I have is that they seem to have much less variety in hilt designs but I guess quality over quantity right lol. Good video man, I've also seen your best lightsabers for every budget videos and I love how informative your videos are, you just got a new sub.
Padawan outpost is a reseller of lgt sabers in the UK, they have glowingly high reviews purely because they are actually good, unlike a certain company who etches their own logos on the hilts and overcharge massively, I'd assume purely so unknowing customers see other companies as though they are merely copying
Just checked the Sabertrio site based on your recommendation, and every single item & accessory they offer is labeled as “sold out.” They literally have nothing to sell. I’ll keep watching.
Their country of Malaysia is essentially in a total lockdown because of Covid. Instead of listing items as "in stock," they instead list them as out of stock so that they do not take on new orders that they cannot guarantee will be fulfilled in a 16 week maximum timeframe. It's 100% the best option for them and very respectable to not gamble with customers' money.
Found this late, and after I ended up choosing a saber. But these are great tips. I ended up going with Darkwolf Sabers. Not going to lie, partially because I discovered we share a similar name haha. But I DID do the research on them prior to committing the money. I went with a Broken Order(Cal Kestis) Saber, while it will need some work to get more screen accurate, it looks like a solid choice. I may make a video on making it more screen accurate and I have vast experience in model painting and machining so it should be fun. Also picked up a mystery box RGB from em because why not, Ive wasted 80 bucks on worse haha. I did find out everything you said to be true about Ultrasabers. So was able to steer very clear from them. What a joke they are.
I've only seen one bad thing happen when someone ordered a product from saber trio, and the issue was with the neopixel blade one of the sections of LEDS wasn't working. I'm pretty sure that this was a shipping issue and not a saber trio issue, and the guy contacted saber trio and they responded within minutes. Then they sent him a blade for free so saber trio is awesome
I bought a saber trio dark skylar I think it's called with the curved emitter. I love it. I've put it through hell dueling with my buddy, wife and kids. My only complaint is the rgb functionality. It takes a decent bit of time to change colors. This isn't a huge deal, I really don't change it that often but it would be nice if it was quicker. I've had mine for a few years and it's still kicking
For a person who’s just getting a lightsaber, it hasn’t arrived yet but am very excited I have some worries if it will be worth the money and if there are some things I should look out for in saber forge I got my customized exalted mk2 hero pixel and questioning if it’s worth for what they display.
I just got into custom sabers last week and thanks to your videos I feel that I know much more than I may have without them. I saw your video on the CD sabers and I'm sold but I cannot decide between the Osprey hilt and Shrike hilt so IYO which do you think looks nicer (asking for anyones opinion). IK its all personal preference but I really cannot decide and would like a second (or more) opinion.
I personally own the Shrike, and I love it, but I like the design of the Osprey a bit more to be honest. I’m still happy with mine, but I wish I would have gotten the Osprey out of the mystery box.
Hey Lando. I recently got into watching your videos, and I was wondering about something. I know you likely won’t respond to this, but I might as well ask. I’m considering buying a custom made lightsaber, not pre-built, from somewhere like Saberforge. I know you really dislike their service and the quality of their installations, but I would be buying them as a parts kit, disassembled. I’m mainly considering this because I’m looking at having a split lightsaber (double-bladed which can be separated into two single-blades using a quick release coupler) with some distinct features which I’ve only really seen on Saberforge. Do you think ordering them this way is better, or are there other better shops that offer a similar lever of customisation? The one thing I’m dead set on is the split feature though, and I’ve only seen that available on Ultrasaber or Saberforge.
Shopper approved is rigged. I worked for a company once that put that n their system... and companies can be honest and such.. Or they can just fill out their own surveys and have admin access to it. Its not like a 3rd party site thats managed else where. (some companies get payed to use them)
Yep, I have proof from one of their former employees that the owner just had them fill out reviews as if they’re were customers, and when they were at conventions, some customers would fill out reviews, and the employees would automatically set it to 5 stars. Disgusting.
Hey Lando, i´m totally new to the game, i just found your channel and it´s great! Really informative and helpful, thanks for the help. Now atm i belong to the peasant community, so i'm just looking for a durable, sturdy and balanced lightsaber to practice spinning, the shiva one seems ideal but its sold out. Will they be for sale again? Would you advice another one for the spinning practice?
Debating on getting a saber or two. I want to get my money's worth. I am looking for a temple guard style double bladed saber (can split in two sabers or not doesn't matter to me). What would you recommend. I don't want to spend tons of money though but don't want something super cheap either. Also I saw an ad on facebook for sabermasters, claim to be a newer company. They are doing a buy one and get one free type situation...

Yeahhh, Emory got me good. I really thought that a company with so many ads must’ve been reputable. Oh boy was I wrong. Dropped 600 buckaroos for 2 glowsticks with poor sound, heavy sabers and no smooth swing. So sad...
I have an Ultrasaber Aeon v4 empty hilt and I went ahead and bought a Proffie from Corbanth.com and all of the necessary components for completing the lightsaber at Customsabershop.com The order that arrived the fastest was Ultrasabers. I’m impressed with their hilts but their soundboards need to be sourced somewhere else because the obsidian soundboards are really expensive for non smooth swing
So the art sabers black hammer is on sale For 150 but on crimson dawn it’s 126 the only difference is art sabers says it has smooth swing while crimson dawn doesn’t I don’t know if that’s misadvertising or they just have different electronics
I'm about to pull the trigger on buying Kyberlight Knight pack v5. I just wanted to get your take on their product. This would be my first saber purchase. I know the blades that come with them are not diffused so I was thinking about buying a ultrsaber heavy grade blade to use with the Kyberlight set up.
I kinda wish that i had seen this video before i had to wait months for my saber and while they did respond telling me about a delay (after i had to message them) there was no notice beforehand that they had supply issues. I will state that i'm pretty happy with the Graflex that i bought with no real complaints and i got a bunch of freebie lightsabers which helps with the fact that i probably would have overpaid otherwise. I now plan on making further purchases with said better companies
I want an Aniflex lightsaber from episode three that won’t break the bank, and that I can duel with. What would you suggest for my first lightsaber purchase? I’m new to the saber game. I bought a Galaxy’s Edge lightsaber just because I wanted a Darth Vader legends lightsaber to display. Thanks for any response.
I’m starting small with a rebel sabers neopixel, I should probably start with an RGB blade and hilt but I really love some of the designs and have seen so many reviews regarding the upgraded boards.
Hi, I have been saving for months now and i dont want to waste money. Can someone tell me if the neo core banshee from crimson dawn is worth the price?
Hey Lando! I’m tryna get a neopixel smooth swing saber. Not sure if there are varying smooth swing capabilities. It’s either RBG or Neopixel though, right? Where would you suggest getting the cheapest one meeting this criteria?
Peeped this DX Sabers site - good loooooord I thought Ultra got stuck in 1999 website design, but this takes the cake! And photos are looking like 2006 cellphone quality on towels.
do you think neopixel sabre will go down in price drastically as the technology is more common. I will really debating if i should get a triLED one for now and then wait till prices come down to earth a bit ( around 200 US) before going for a neopixel one. a tri-LED one is better for duel anyways so i can have one for duel and one for display (i think neopixel is more fragile and better for display). What do you think ? Thanks,
I’m very new to all of this so your videos have been extremely helpful. Once I heard about Sabertrio I was pretty much sold that if I was going to buy one I was going to get one from them. However, as much as I want one of their sabers, I’m not sure if it would be worth it to buy one. I would most likely go for the highest grade and so I’m just not sure I’d get enough use out of it, other than it being a incredibly awesome functional decoration, to be worth the cost.
I have never had a lightsaber except for the ones that are at fairs when you are five. I’m thinking from getting the kyojin from the pach store because I’m from Australia and USD to AUD is extremely confusing so I just want to get a decent one with sound and lights up like a real saber would. Is that a good idea?
I super appreciate your opinion and video im looking for one and making sure I make a good decision. Most of them I look for are $400-$500 OBIwan and your right am I really using it all the time well this time I will I will even sleep with it to get the money work great points thanks
Why are you not a fan of saberforge? I just purchased some items from saberforge, like blade plugs, timing shims, I wasn't happy with the shipping, have not received anything yet
Hello . I really like your work in your videos. I need your help. I want a lightsaber that can light different colors and have a sound when you move it. That's all. Where can I find one under 140 dollars?
Awesome video. Have you checked out LGT Saber Studios new Eco rgb baselit w/smooth swing? I just got one this week and to get a smooth swing with 9 fonts for such a low cost is crazy.
@@LandoSabers I used their kit to replace the electronics in my TXQsaber, which was a good entry saber. Much better features than my Hasbro ones and was my first 3rd party saber. In the last few months after getting it I have been checking out custom saber videos and found smooth swing. It sounded great and I did not know such a thing existed to make saber motion so real. Anyway with the smooth swing installed I find I have a hard time putting it down and just want to handle it all the time. Side note is they put in a higher quality bass speaker in the new kit which is much better than the cheap speaker I had before.
Unfortunately, I just may stick to context clues and customer support in terms of things about my lightsaber. I’ve had a few questions about my saber and I’ve either been berated by asking them the question rather than customer service, or have had questions flat out unanswered for weeks. I wish I could say r/lightsabers was reliable for me, but it just seems like I keep getting bad batches of people who see me posts/questions
Hey ! Thank you so much for your videos ! I'm new to the lighsabers community (I recently joined a club and I looooove it) so all your explanations are so helpful, as well as your impartiality. 'Cause yes, you ARE impartial. I was lucky with my first and so far only order to UltraSaber (ordered on Nov 1st received in France on Nov 9) which is decent for a simple stunt saber meant for combat practice. But even me being new to the community and doing basic researches, can see that their most expensive options aren't good at all compare to other companies. I can't wait to buy my first Sabertrio :p I just had one question, please: I see you don't like SaberForge, can you explain why ? Is it because of the quality of the sabers or just because of the CEO ? Thanks for your time, and again for your videos !
It’s a combination of both. Their CEO is just not a very nice guy in my opinion. And that trickles down to their customer service team quite often (blocking customers from social media when they ask about their order, never getting back to them after 6 months, etc.) I just would much rather shine a light on companies that I know can be trusted, rather than companies that I am on the fence about, or do not trust at all.
What’s your opinion on galaxy’s edge Legacy sabers? I love cosplaying and $130 seems like a great deal for something I’ll likely just keep on my belt but I’ve seen reviews that their quality is not much better than that of ultra sabers or saberforge.
I mean... the only time that I’d ever personally buy one of those was if I went there in person, just for that whole experience. Now, in comparison to the higher end sabers, there’s a huge difference. I can’t really say to buy it or not buy it, but I’d say that if it meets your needs as a cosplay piece, then I’d say go for it. There are also empty hilts from Korbanth or some of the other stores out there that are extremely screen-accurate, and feel much better than the sort of plasticky-feeling sabers from Galaxy’s Edge, and those could work very well for cosplay, but just know that they wouldn’t be functional since they’re empty.
Hey do you know a good neopixel Saber with no Proffie for a cheap price. im looking to find a neopixel with a nice chrome hilt for a cheat price ($150-$200) but with no luck so far.
my first lightsaber was a saberforge body i didnt think the electronics were good enough for me to spend theire rediculous prices so i put a simple crimson viridian and a tricree led. it was way cheaper than what saberforge charges for the sme thing. now im upgrading it to a crystal focus neopixle setup. i wouldnt buy another saberforge body because its expensive nd took 6 months to recieve my parts.
Thank you man, that means a lot!
How tf does this guy have less than 1 mil subs?
Thank you!
we've come along way from those $15 plastic ones from kmart that you can "flick" out of the hilt xD
i used to think you could only buy lightsabers from disney and now i see through the lies of the jedi.
(A LONG TIME AGO - IN A FAR, FAR GALAXY AWAY)
Wish I'd seen this 4 months ago. I really appreciate what people like yourself and Saber Sourcing are trying to do for the community. I wish you all the continued growth and success you deserve.
Ultrasabers does a good enough job smearing themselves. I had horrible experiences with them and their product quality. Thankfully I paid with paypal and was able to get my money refunded. I will not buy anything from ultrasabers again and will discourage others to do so whenever possible.
I actually had a good customer experience with them, its just their product is inferior lol
@@shaifernandez2394 your experience is the exception to the rule
I wanted to get the reliant lightsaber from crimson dawn, it would be my first one but I don't know if that would be a good one
Thanks to your channel I just got my first saber, a Crimson Dawn EFX Banshee. It's definitely worth the money. Keep it up man!
@@cwp24 Couldn't have said it any better myself.
@@adamsnell2088 From sabertrio it only took a few minutes
I might be getting one any problems with it?
Hey Lando,
Looks like the video quality and editing is getting better. Keep up the good work. Great info.
I searched up Vader’s vault and the first thing that came up was ultra sabers
Over ten years of watching RUclips videos and this maybe the third channel I personally hit subscribe to.
Good luck securing a Reaver, I promise it’ll blow you away!
Once you get a Sabertrio, nothing else compares. They really are top of the line when it comes to lightsabers.
From one RUclipsr to another, keep up the great work on your channel! Really love the saber content.
You're extremely underrated my guy, keep grinding and expanding your content and you will 100 percent make it
I’ve watched a few of your videos on choosing a saber to buy and I ultimately settled on the sabertrio aeryn fx saber with a cfx soundboard upgrade! Looking forward to when that arrives
I appreciate your honesty. That's why I subscribed. You have ethics. keep up the great work.
in my opinion to all of you out there looking for your first saber make sure you read a lot and take your time.
I know it's late but is sabertrio a good place to order? You know customer service, shipping time, quality/durability?
Hey Lando! You are the best Star Wars RUclips ever! Thank you!
Thank you!
anyone that watched your very in-depth and comprehensive video about "that company" and all they took from it was "hes calling me trash because i was fooled by the very marketing he is warning us about" then they probably dont have enough braincells to rub together in the first place. I wouldn't be worried your videos have been a fantastic resource for me when buying my first saber and I can only thank you for that.
We should have him collab with star wars theory👍😂. Love your videos
Yes, I watched the video about why u shouldn’t buy from there and I remember u saying “that people can buy from there but u want to inform us about what ur buying” so I understand u where just saying the cons about their sight
Is there a good-ish neopixel saber that is about 100-200 dollars that doesn’t look very flashy?
Big help in my search for a good place to buy my first saber. Really looking at Allysabers. Thanks for the info!

Is Crimson Dawn legit? It just seems like they're marking up the LGTOY Sabers
Thank you Lando, I wanted to get a saber but ended up getting a career in law.
@@LandoSabers Ahh. Knowing that, it makes sense. Thanks.
I love this channel I hope you get a lot of subs man
You Saved me from Ultrasabers!
I ended up ordering a Darkwolf ArcLight with the Proffie and Neopixel Blade
I ordered a neopixel baslix from them, super excited
Bro.
Thank you.
Period.
You're so real I had to subscribe!
Tutorial videos would be nice. Such as motion ignition, blade profiles, udating firmware, etc. For cfx.
3:29 thats about it i want a expencive glow stick they look cool
Saberforge has a temple guard style double bladed saber lol 😅 I never bought something from them but they have exactly what you search 🤓

Yeahhh, Emory got me good. I really thought that a company with so many ads must’ve been reputable. Oh boy was I wrong. Dropped 600 buckaroos for 2 glowsticks with poor sound, heavy sabers and no smooth swing. So sad...
I have an Ultrasaber Aeon v4 empty hilt and I went ahead and bought a Proffie from Corbanth.com and all of the necessary components for completing the lightsaber at Customsabershop.com
The order that arrived the fastest was Ultrasabers.
They may just buy the hilts from the main hong kong based saber maker and put their own electronics in.
The lead of ultrasabers deletes negative comments on Facebook too lmao. It's kinda funny to me now
So wouldn’t a lower wattage just make your battery last longer?
Hi, I have been saving for months now and i dont want to waste money. Can someone tell me if the neo core banshee from crimson dawn is worth the price?
Have you bought it?
Yup, because they stole all of their photos off of other websites and Google Images. Terrible owner who doesn’t know when to quit.
do you think neopixel sabre will go down in price drastically as the technology is more common.
I bought from Amazon one with 60€, I am satisfied with it so far
Keep fighting the good fight! 🙌
Do you know the shop "Lightsaberfx" from estonia, is it trustworthy?
Why are you not a fan of saberforge? I just purchased some items from saberforge, like blade plugs, timing shims, I wasn't happy with the shipping, have not received anything yet
Hello . I really like your work in your videos. I need your help. I want a lightsaber that can light different colors and have a sound when you move it. That's all. Where can I find one under 140 dollars?
What's your opinion on Crimson Dawn? There's a saber on that site that has my attention called the "Dawn Initiate"
Awesome video. Have you checked out LGT Saber Studios new Eco rgb baselit w/smooth swing? I just got one this week and to get a smooth swing with 9 fonts for such a low cost is crazy.
Yep, I’ve kept my eye on that! I think I mentioned something about it in a previous video!
What do you guys think of Saberforge's veteran RGB electronics are they worth the price?
I just ordered the overlord with a proffie from CD
Crimson Dawn Vanguard worth buying? I’d like your advice please. 🙏
Hey man I’m about to get the banshee from crimson dawn should I get base lit or save up for a longer to get Neo pixel
What is your opinion of the KYBERS RGB lightsabers? They are $99.99 on Amazon.
how do you feel about the Kybers Standard SerieS for cosplay, BUT MOSTLY DUELING.?
What’s your opinion on galaxy’s edge Legacy sabers? I love cosplaying and $130 seems like a great deal for something I’ll likely just keep on my belt but I’ve seen reviews that their quality is not much better than that of ultra sabers or saberforge.
I should clarify 130 is for the Vader hilt that’s on sale now. All other legacy sabers are around 200
I mean... the only time that I’d ever personally buy one of those was if I went there in person, just for that whole experience.
Hey i live in EU and it doesnt seem like we have any saber retailer that is worth it, so ill get my neopixel from LGT. Thanks for all the info!
