Very nice! As a post mortem idea, could you have venge'd the shockwave? I've never thought to try it. Could theoretically still bring in at least 1 or 2 thrall cast(s) with spellbook swap if so.
I'm pretty sure venging the shockwave doesn't work, I knew about the possibility of venging his regular attacks, but that takes a lot of runes and I would need food as well because I wasn't consistently building a wall in melee range before the shockwave, inventory space is already at a premium here so I decided against it. Good idea though.
@@DDenferok You bring up a good point. It's easy to forget that if you're not doing literally wr strats that some things are honestly not worth it. It's not like we can press a button and instantly start over if we fail a run because of even just a few bad damage rolls. This is easily illustrated by the WR run for Hespori using DDS, but nobody is ever going to use DDS for their Hespori master's speedrun achievement if they can afford dclaws.
