Try using BotSkin mod to do this, when you get in tutorial zone, type on console (with The mod loaded) "playerskin amy", but you need to have her unlocked

If you still have the previous version somewhere, you can copy-paste "SRB2 - OpenGL.bat" from there to SRB2 2.2. Another option would be a launcher. There are some in srb2.org/download/

You can also create a batch file and write in it "srb2win.exe -opengl" then just put it in the game's root directory
