"If you die outside your own game you don't regenerate" witch means vanelopes real father the real king c would have had to be killed in another game...
CONSPIRACY THEORY: king candy and turbo were friends. King candy went over to visit turbo, and that’s when turbo broke. He was jealous of king candy, so he goes turbo, kills him, and takes his form. So he goes back to candy crush, saying that he witnessed his friend go crazy and kill someone and disappear. Then, it’s not suspicious, and turbo can now rule sugar rush
Also, did you notice that at the end of the movie of Princess Vanellopee being on the arcade box, she had Turbos Cart. Showing that Turbo killed King Candy, made Vanellopee a glitch then even stole her cart. How evil >;C
Oh my gosh! I just checked the clips at 3:07 and 3:38 and _you're right! It's an extremely similar car!_ Not _completely_ identical, but close enough for either the cabinet art to be slightly inaccurate to the game graphics (which is common with old arcade games), or Turbo to have made some of his own personalizing modifications to it after taking it. I can't believe I never noticed that! =^o
I think it’s fair to assume that one of two things happened to prevent King Candy from returning when the game reset: one, Turbo killed him outside the game, permanently silencing him, and took on the costume (possibly by hijacking King Candy’s texture and animation files), or two, when Turbo coded himself into King Candy, his character file took precedent, so when he died at the end of the film, it considered him to have died outside his own game, and the original King Candy went with him.
Well before the scene where Ralph wants to get a medal on Heroes duty, Sonic warned other game characters "When you leave your game,Stay safe. (forgot the other sentence) but, if you leave outside your game, you don't regenerate. Ever. Game Over. "
So we only one option, that King Candy was killed on an another game and then Turbo goes to Sugar Rush and steals his assets and puts it in like a disguise.
GTYouTubin' -GotTimeYoutubin' “Don’t die. Because if you die outside of your own game, you don’t regenerate. Ever! Game over.” [ Sonic 2012 ] I hoped that helped. :)
I think turbo delete king candy code and when turbo killed him he will not be able to regenerate because he's not the part of the game anymore the code has been break by turbo
I have an addition to the theory. In order for Turbo to kill King Candy, he has to wait until King Candy is out of the game. Turbo stalks King Candy until he leaves the game, lures him to an isolated spot, and kills him. Vanellope either witnesses the murder of her father or notices that King Candy's been acting different. Maybe she even sees Turbo briefly glitch out of his King Candy disguise. Turbo then goes after her, but she runs off to hide in the candy forest. Turbo loses her there. He know he can't kill her, because she'd just regenerate, and she's too smart to let him lure her out of the game. So, that's when he decides to unplug her from the game and remove everyone's memories so that no one will go looking for her and she'll forget her real identity.
aacsmiles in addition king candy most likely loved his daughter a lot. An example of this is the fact that the entire castle is pink and I think he did this for Venellope because she is a big fan of pink.
I have a theory of my own, and it makes you hate Turbo so much you want to pull him out of the game and tear him apart. The theory is... VANELLOPE DIDN'T KNOW TURBO HAD KILLED AND REPLACED HER FATHER Imagine. Not only did she not know her father was dead, she thought he'd turned against her for no apparent reason. Evidence of this is 3 words. "Who are you?", Vanellope asks King Candy when he glitches into Turbo. Assuming she didn't lose her memory too (because her personal "block thingy" was not shut away, just disconnected) she would know who he was... IF she had witnessed her father's murder. How much do you hate Turbo now?
i still find it hilarious Sugar Rush being the equivalent of Polybius for that world/universe and ppl on forms saying "anyone remember king candy playable?" and everyones like "no" "but at this one arcade- we also didnt have princess venllopee, it was just venllopee and she had glitch powers and was a secret unlock-" "no dude, Venllopee was always in the game, she is princess its in the games lore, king candy was never playable lmao what you on, you played a mod or something?"
i love this theory so much they should of made this the plot of the second movie-- where somehow ralph and vanellope some how go to another arcade with sugar rush-- and vanellope meets that coded version of her self and king candy is still there and has no idea what they're talking about him being killed in a different sugar rush machine. like that be so cool dghdg
3:09 So King Candy was like a guide in the game probably, like he'd pop up in small corners giving tips for beginners, then when you're done he'd say something like "Happy Racing!"
That makes sense; I mean, he couldn't just DELETE King Candy. He needed the base data to inject himself into so he could be in the game without crashing it. King Candy's render and shell were like a biohazard suit for him, just like Ralph managed to move through Hero's Duty because he took one of the NPC's armor.
WRECK IT RALPH FOR BEST MODERN DISNEY MOVIE it has: The most complex villian ever The best princess (why doesnt she have more attention come on now ) And the best story as well as morals
I personally think that frozen is _very_ flawed. To name one problem: Hans. A terrible villain and a terrible twist villain. You can tell it was thrown in at the last minute. Another flaw: Elsa. Personally, she would have worked better as the villain more than hans. In fact, I think it would have worked better if there was no villain. This is why I think wreck it Ralph is better than frozen
Another thing to notice is her name Vanellope VON SCHWEETZ! The 'von', is something, traditionally used for royal people. So as soon as you see her name, you would know, or at least guess, that she's royal.
So, Turbo must have taken King Candy outside of Sugar Rush and kill him, because Sonic says if you die outside your own game you don’t regenerate, then takes his body and alters Sugar Rush’s code. Is this correct? I am a bit confused.
Yes that is the only possible explanation. We just don't know how Turbo killed King Candy. Maybe it has something to do with the candy chainsaw that the Donut Policeman tries to use on Ralph-in-a-cupcake? I was wondering if it had been used before.
I actually figured Turbo didn't just "kill and replace" King Candy, but rather inserted his code into that of King Candy, effectively fusing them and making them the same character - then Turbo would delete King Candy's personality out of himself, leaving only the appearance. King Candy was then effectively dead, but still alive in the game's eyes, since his code was present and accounted for. This would also mean that King Candy died together with Turbo (and the Cybug that ate them) when the volcano erupted. The game wouldn't have been able to restore King Candy afterward since at that point he was indistinguishable from Turbo, who was going Turbo (no pun intended) at the moment and therefore died without being able to respawn, in the volcano's eruption. If King Candy was assassinated by Turbo as you say he was, Turbo would have had to do it outside the game, since if he had died inside of his own game, King Candy would just respawn. Also, if Turbo did steal King Candy's entire appearance, it doesn't explain why King Candy looks so different from the other racers, who look sort of chibi/animesque. While this doesn't necessarily disprove the theory, it would be easier explained by Turbo's appearance sort of meshing together with the previous King Candy, since they are rather similar (small eyes + big bald head/helmet). This is just a minor point, and I can totally see it excused by "he's just old so he looks different", but I'd figure if there was an original King Candy in the game, the designers would have made him look more like the other characters. Oh, and Turbo also totally stole Vanellope's car too. What a douche.
It's a shame I'm just now finding this theory, but after the game reset the characters regained they memories. So they should've remembered King candy. It would've been part of the princesses' backstory
Turbo has officially been moved to second in my personal list of Best Disney Villains. I’m sorry, but no one can top Claude Frollo. Genocide is pretty hard to beat.
WE HAVE DONE IT! 250K PEOPLE! Edit: OMG THANK YOU FOR THE HEART SEAMUS! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH! AND THANKS FOR SO MANY LIKES! I'VE NEVER GOT THIS MANY! Sorry for shouting
I always think of the scene when turbo bug is going towards the light. He keeps switching back and forth from king Candy to himself. And I think he says "what are you doing" of something of that nature, like he is talking to someone else. What if that was the real King Candy, like Turbo literally took over King Candy's body, and when they were eaten, some of the original king Candy was manifesting.
Wreck-it Ralph is a very special movie to my family. The year it came out, my brother wanted to see it for his birthday, we saw it barely a week before he died. Steve was a lot like Ralph, big, loveable, a walking disaster. We teased that he WAS Ralph when we walked out of that theater. Your theroy is astounding, I would say it genuinely makes an amazing movie even better,
When the Cybug version of Turbo was being attracted to the beacon in the end, it was his King Kandy half that was being entranced by the light while his real form was fighting back. Part of King Kandy was still in there somewhere, and he was doing what was necessary to save his little girl's life by taking Turbo down with him...
*straightens glasses* Well, actually it was the cybug half because the part of King Cybug (idk that’s just the internet’s name for that form) that’s actually part cybug is coded to go into the beacon at the end of Hero’s Duty, and that code kicked in when the mentos-soda volcano erupted
It says it resets to when she was taken out, but turbo could have become king before kicking out venelope. So it reset to where he was there but hadn't started racing. This makes him even more of a great villain as he thought ahead.
*I need to do this* King candy:Vanellope...join me. Vanellope:Never! King candy:but Vanellope... *I am your father* Vanellope: *NOOOOOOOO-* screw this meme is old dude.
You had me laughing from the beginning of the video; I love your sense of ‘British Sarcasm’ humour, my idea of beautiful! 🤣 Makes me (weirdly) proud to be English 🏴🇬🇧
Well, this probably won't make any sense, but, the 'original ' King Candy,if he did exist, couldn't be killed by turbo, unless he left his game and then didn't regenerate, but I feel like the original KC would be programmed to be caring and reasonable, and I don't see him leaving the game very much, since he had a kingdom and a kid to take care of, and I highly doubt that he would leave unless it was a special occasion since they don't really have birthdays or anniversaries or anything, unless they all went to Tappers or something to celebrate a one year anniversary of being plugged in or something and KC (king candy) had been lured out or checked the lost and found, but I also have considered that KC was being blackmailed by Turbo, probably saying if he didn't do something he wanted he might make it look like the game is OUT OF ORDER, or he became friends with KC, knowing he wouldn't know who he was, using their friendship just long enough to get into the control room and change the code. Sorry about how long this was, but I AM IN LOVE WITH THEORIES. Especially disney theories, bye
Maybe he didn't murder KC at first, just made him into a glitch etc. like Vanellope. Then he convinced everyone to exile him so he was out of the game. Then all Turbo would have to do would be to stroll out of the game and...you know the rest.
RALPH BREAKS THE INTERNET WOULD’VE BEEN MUCH BETTER EXPLAINING HER PARENTS ALL THEY HAD TO DO WAS LOOK AT THE COMMENTS AND BE CREATIVE I wish they did it better
More The Lion King, not Coco as much. See what I'm trying to say? I know it's a bit far-fetched, but it could have been, idk, a little easter egg for the gamers to enjoy.
The reason you didn't see the Wreck-it Ralph plot twist coming is probably because it's pre-Frozen. After Frozen was such a big success, I think a lot of Disney movies followed that trend of having a plot twist, making us actually EXPECT a plot twist. Wreck-it Ralph did it first. So yeah, just wanted to clear that out.
Well, I didn't expect that Te Ka would turn out to be Te Fiti! I thought that the film wouldn't reveal the villain until quite late on, as Seamus referred to how Disney had done that in a lot of their more recent films, but I was wrong
@Tammi McDaniel Well, as it turned out it didn't really have a villain as such. Double Dan was probably the closest due to his supplying viruses, but he did at least tell Ralph how to keep it contained
I just kind of thought of a way Turbo could have took king candy out The time to do it would have been during playing hours because King candies not a playable character the game could have continued being played without him and none of the playable characters would have left the game to go looking for him during playable hours because that could cause the game to be decommissioned .. So turbo could have dragged him out of the game during playable hours and he either killed himself or throw them into dangerous game that he had died in Then he could have snuck back into Sugar Rush during night hours when everyone went out looking for him and recoded the game
Just want to say Vanellope could've been the princess of a principality, meaning there wouldn't have needed to be a king. Though since King Candy's stand is still there, that's good evidence that there was a King Candy.
Awesome theory ! Really sad but great nonetheless, but ever since I’ve watched the movie I’ve always wandered where turbo had been hiding before becoming king candy . The characters believe him to be dead at the time . Was he hoping from one game to another or was he staying in on game . I mean he doesn’t seem the type to stay in one game especially considering that ( to my knowledge) sugar rush was the only racing game after those two . ( thats probably not the case but still ) and he didn’t seem interested in any other kind of games besides racing . I really don’t .
I remember reading that the official backstory was that after the road blasters incident, Turbo lurked deep in the bowels of Game Central Station and when Sugar Rush was plugged in, he went for it
If Turbo lured King Candy out of the game world of Sugar Rush and then killed him, it would make it a permanent death, right? I thought for sure that that was where you were going with this.
OK, here is MY answer to this question, when Turbo took over the other racing game, they got unplugged, so that ment they will all die or disappear, but, Turbo had an idea to leave just before they unplugged the game. When he went to the next game, he had to give his identity, so he chose King Candy, the ruler of Sugar Rush. When he came into the game, he eliminated King Candy and took his place. In return, he had no other choice except to eliminate his daughter, Vannellope, as well. 🙂 DONT HATE PLEASE!!!
I thought I knew all the arguments for this theory, but you still added some real nice points! I'm not sure though that 'limited roster race' space would have been a factor; Vanellope was able to add herself to the race while being an 'exra' (as Turbo was there 'in her place') just fine. Turbo probably just didn't want to share the spotlight. My mainest point against Turbo just creating an original character for Sugar Rush from scratch (btw, a popular theory for why KC doesn't reappear as the game is reset is that he both was AND wasn't a real character - he might have been a character scrapped in development; he didn't make it into the game, but a lot of it was made with him in mind (thus the murals and stuff), and his code could still be in the code vault) is that that would make him an industry-standart character designer, and a fast one at that, and as a future character designer myself, I refuse to allow this gremlin such artistic skills.
"Turbo probably just didn't want to share the spotlight." _That's actually brilliant!_ Here's a thought (which also addresses another canon plot hole)- at the end of the film, Ralph mentions that the players love Venellope, "glitch and all." I always see people asking why the reset didn't fix her glitch. My idea is that maybe she was _always_ glitchy, even before Turbo took over, and she was one of those characters who was well known for having a "game-breaker" bug that made winning easier or got you otherwise impossible record times. Turbo may have made himself _playable,_ but the OP character that speedrunners (i.e. top-high-score-holders) always use to glitch their way to victory would still be *_the most popular._* Doesn't explain how she learns to "control it," though. =^p
But if Turbo killed the original King Candy inside Sugar Rush (staying inside his own game) surely he should have reset? He didn't die outside his own game
Maybe turbo found a way to replace king candy's code like if you put a picture that has the same name as another picture and then put that picture in the same file and then your asked by the computer "do you want to overwrite this picture?" And turbo would have push yes. Idk this just came to my mind :-\
Salmon, it's obviously salmon. And they probably made it that color because it's what they thought of when creating the candy kingdom, a pink/salmon castle. Besides men can wear pink and still look masculine (masculinity isn't that fragile.)
This would mean that getting rid of her wasn't just him trying to delete a random character. If she truly was king Candy's daughter, she'd be the biggest threat to his plans, the first one to see something is wrong. Of course he could lock away her menories but why take the risk of letting her anywhere near enough to reveal his true identity? Better get rid of her all together. That and the fact that as a princess she'd probably be the star of the game, and we all know how Turbo feels about sharing the spotlight
I was literally just telling my friend the other day that I do think that Turbo is the most underrated Disney villain of all time - it was the *perfect* set up and the reveal gave me GOOSEBUMPS I KID YOU NOT. So I LOVE this video Seamus!!
when the game resets if you look behind Ralph in the side line below the KC stand king candy's face is still seen and because Turbo/King Candy was eaten by a cybug when the game reset Turbo would either still have a chance to come back or king candy would regenerate... but if Turbo combined his *AND* king candy's code that could mean that Turbo could regenerate too.🙀🦊
If turbo combined his code with king candy, wouldn't that cause king candy's code to become corrupted and so no longer part of the game or something, you know maybe like a virus,im just wondering
People are saying 'but if king candy died in his game, he would reset!' But.. what if king candy never existed. What if Vanelope was the original ruler of the candy kingdom, and turbo added himself into the mix. He coded a king, himself, and removed Vanelope along with everybody's memories, which is why Vanelope didn't question it. Because all Vanelope knew of rulers in the candy kingdom WAS the king. So when he was gone, her memories of being princess came back.
Actually when I first saw the movie, I thought that King Candy was Vanellope's dad after her full name was said, then like two to three minutes later when Ralph says that one of his kids took the medial, I realized I was wrong. I was like 8 at the time so you can't fully blame me for making that assumption, probably other people who were older than 8 thought the same thing when they first saw the movie. It was probably because her last name is "Von Schweetz" and that just sounds like a royalty name.
What if he destroyed the real king candy disguised himself as king candy and ruled sugar rush and the reason why he was trying to get rid of her might have been because he was afraid she would know it wasnt ber real dad and tell everyone so he hacked the game and programmed it to not allow vanellope to leave the game and get help....but he knew if she was trapped in the game she might tell the other kids and candy people so he erased all of the peoples memories so they wouldn't remember she was a princess
I dont know if king candy existed before turbo took over but if you pay attention to the throne room, not only is everything pink, which turbo refers to as "salmon" but over the throne there is not a giant crown but a giant Tiara, plus if you look at vanellope's art on the sugar rush arcade cabinet, she's on the car that king candy was using (which means he only took over the role but couldnt phisically change anything.. that was vanellope's throne room, he recoded the memories of everyone but couldnt change the evidence in the game)
First of all thank you so much for explaining all of that makes much more sense now and I enjoyed your theory .Second what are your thoughts on Wreck it Ralph 2 and I hope your theory has a connection. Also could you do another colabe with Wosto or S.C.Brothers?
So I'm thinking the reason you don't see King Candy at the end is because when the game resets, he's presumingly reset in his castle which is too far to get to the track on time and also, he probably only ever goes to the track if a player races.
It also explains why none of them are confused by king candy being in charge because ... king candy was in charge and their memories of him weren’t deleted.
Actually that would make sense on why king candy never respawned when the game reset, since turbo injected himself into king candys code they basically merged but since turbo wasn’t originally from that game it deleted him but since king candy was fused with Turbo it deleted him as well not able to recognize him as his code was jumbled with another one from outside of his own game
does that mean cybugs saved sugar rush because the cybug made Ralph go into the game and because turbo turned into a cybug he ended up being attracted to light
Imagine someone played sugar rush at another arcade and they had a normal Vanellopee but they went to litwacks and thought that Vanellopee was broken and got the game unplugged.
Awesome theory! Also I would like to talk about an older movie in my comment, one of the most classic and recognizable Disney movies of all time. The Lion King. What may I be talking about? The true hero of the film. Oh but Francis, that was Simba he defeated Scar. No. The *true* hero of the film is none other than..... Nala. From the beginning we see Nala as an adventurous, courageous, clever character. She is immediately willing to follow Simba to the graveyard, even more so when she knows what it is. When Simba leaves, we see her completely heartbroken. Think of how terrified she must have been when Scar brought in the exact hyenas (Shenzie Bonsai and Ed) that had tried to kill her and Simba just days before. But she didn't run away as we see, she stood through it. A while later, when she is full grown, out of her bravery and willingness to protect her pride, she goes far out over the savanna and desert to a jungle just to find food. She never gave up. When Simba attacked her, her reflexes kicked in immediately and she fought back in an instant, showing no fear. She pins him to the ground quickly, ready to kill to get a single scrap of food, until Simba recognizes her. After a little bit she tells Simba about what's happening at the pride. She tries her best to get him to go back. Of course he doesn't want to and storms off. He later says that maybe she was right, proving her to be a large influence that leads to him going back. Think of if Nala hadn't come to change his mind. At the pride, when Scar attacks Simba, she leads the lionesses to save him and help fight off Scar. If it weren't for her bravery, Simba would've been killed. So, in conclusion, Nala is a brave and courageous, loyal character. If it weren't for her, Simba would never have been convinced to go back and even could've died. Also, if it weren't for that, the pride would've died from starvation. I know what you're thinking. Francis, what about Rafiki leading Simba to Mufasa? Remember, Simba would never have run off and thought about it enough to find and follow Rafiki. So, what do you think? Is Nala the true hero?
I noticed something. On the side of the game, the car Vanellope is in is the same car Turbo races in during the final race. Plus the slide to get onto the track might have been for Vanellope to get into her car and race.
Perhaps Turbo lured King Candy out of his game (perhaps congratulating him on his game's popularity) and killed him. It taken out the AI of the character and he gone in Sugar Rush's code and put his own AI in place. Then, what you said would occur
I personally have a theory about why Vanellope still glitches after the reset. She glitches before the reset because Turbo messed with her code, making the game unsure if she even existed. However why would she glitch after? I think that it's because she's still messing with the code. When Vanellope crosses the finish line, the game resets her character, to presumably the factory setting of Princess Vanellope in her sparkly pink gown, however, Vanellope rejects this, choosing her old clothes and the title of 'president', this confuses the game, so she still glitches. Some people might think that her 'Glitch' ability is actually coded in, because players can activate it, but I think that that's unlikely because we don't see any other characters with special abilities. As for why she looks that way on the side of the game, promotional art and box art often looks different from the final game.
Thank you for the video. one of my BFFS had just told me she dint want to be friends anyone and didn't tell me why and I was crying when I clicked on this video but after watching you have truly made me smile and laugh for the frist time all day. So thank you Seamus Gorman for brighting up my day.
6:17 I played RoadBlasters a lot when I was homeless (to those of you who don't know, RoadBlasters is a real game). There was an arcade that allowed people staying at the homeless shelter to play for free and I'd spend most of my afternoons there between lunch and dinner. RoadBlasters was the game I played the most.
Another thing to add to the theory is that when he tried to delete vanellopes code he was clearly with sour bill, one sour bill remembers the incident plus you can see king candy pulling on the rope to be pulled back. He wouldnt have been able to convince sour bill to come with him or even have access to the code if he just popped up as a new character claiming to be king. To have enough respect even before getting rid of vanellope would have to mean he took over the role of someone who previously existed.
5:36 but like sonic said “if you die OUTSIDE your own game you don’t regenerate!” so if king candy died by the hands of Turbo then he would regenerate. So does it make more sense that he was kidnaped or Turbo deleted his code?
Maybe he was made into a glitch like Vanellope and then exiled so he was out of the game. Then Turbo finds him and kills him and makes his daughter into a glitch. But he doesn't exile and kill her because he doesn't think she's a threat - oh boy, he was wrong!
wow... makes even more sense that he picked Vanellope because her being his daughter, and a princess, she would be the only possible character standing in his way of total authority... excellent theory, or more story cause I'm convinced it's true
Man, it's so dark to imagine that Turbo took King Candy outside the game and killed him there so that there would be no way for him to regenerate. Poor Vanellope! I wonder if she remembers her father or even witnessed him being kidnapped and/or killed. AUGH! Thanks for the darkness, Seamus.
Brilliant. At the beginning of your videos I'm always like "what the hell are you talking about". But at the end I'm always like "Damn Seamus did it again." Great video
Yay! Thank you for this Seamus. I just watched wreck it Ralph again and I was looking for some good theories and then this video came! Really nice theory and well thought out
Thank you so much for making this video. I have had a theory like this for years but never found a way to prove it. However you have now confirmed that my theory was true. That King Candy was Vanellope's Father but when turbo came into the game he killed King Candy and took over his body.
HOLY CRAP thank you!! I've had this theory and have basically been treating it as canon for like three years now! It's about time it got some appreciation!
I just realized that i never comment on your videos even though I literally watch EVERY SINGLE ONE and I don't know why. This video was great and reminded me that I need to watch Wreck it Ralph again cause I definitely haven't seen it enough. I would love to make theories like you and SCB, but you guys have a sense of creativity and imagination I might not have. You think of things I never even considered and you're one of my favorite people to watch online. Keep creating, cause I'll always be watching! Would love to meet you one day 😊
"If you die outside your own game you don't regenerate" witch means vanelopes real father the real king c would have had to be killed in another game...
Or in that loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong hallway in between games.
He was killed in whack a mole
@@stevencarenduff2623 That's funny but dark at the same time though
He could've been in a car that turbo crashed into.
Oh yeah it looks sooooooooooooooo similar like you can even see the thing sticking out of the back of the car
Cant believe masterminded all of that
I think it’s fair to assume that one of two things happened to prevent King Candy from returning when the game reset: one, Turbo killed him outside the game, permanently silencing him, and took on the costume (possibly by hijacking King Candy’s texture and animation files), or two, when Turbo coded himself into King Candy, his character file took precedent, so when he died at the end of the film, it considered him to have died outside his own game, and the original King Candy went with him.
O
Well before the scene where Ralph wants to get a medal on Heroes duty, Sonic warned other game characters "When you leave your game,Stay safe. (forgot the other sentence) but, if you leave outside your game, you don't regenerate. Ever. Game Over. "
So we only one option, that King Candy was killed on an another game and then Turbo goes to Sugar Rush and steals his assets and puts it in like a disguise.
GTYouTubin' -GotTimeYoutubin' “Don’t die. Because if you die outside of your own game, you don’t regenerate. Ever! Game over.” [ Sonic 2012 ]
I hoped that helped.
You must be a great fanfiction writer
I have a theory of my own, and it makes you hate Turbo so much you want to pull him out of the game and tear him apart.
The theory is...
VANELLOPE DIDN'T KNOW TURBO HAD KILLED AND REPLACED HER FATHER
Imagine.

Lol
i love this theory so much they should of made this the plot of the second movie-- where somehow ralph and vanellope some how go to another arcade with sugar rush-- and vanellope meets that coded version of her self and king candy is still there and has no idea what they're talking about him being killed in a different sugar rush machine. like that be so cool dghdg

3:09 So King Candy was like a guide in the game probably, like he'd pop up in small corners giving tips for beginners, then when you're done he'd say something like "Happy Racing!"
That sounds fun lol
Damn, if that is the case we lost out on someone genuinely nice
Perhaps he took king candy outside of the game when he killed him, that way he couldn't regenerate.
Sapphire Chica omg you are so amazing and clever for thinking of that
It makes so much sense
That makes sense; I mean, he couldn't just DELETE King Candy. He needed the base data to inject himself into so he could be in the game without crashing it. King Candy's render and shell were like a biohazard suit for him, just like Ralph managed to move through Hero's Duty because he took one of the NPC's armor.
Oh my word i cant believe nobody thought of that! U r a genius!
I was thinking the same thing
It would be easy, discreet, and no one would suspect any of it since Turbo was presumed gone with the racing games
My god that is a good and dark theory! Nice thinking!

Personally, she would have worked better as the villain more than hans. In fact, I think it would have worked better if there was no villain.
This is why I think wreck it Ralph is better than frozen

Another thing to notice is her name
Vanellope VON SCHWEETZ!
Does that include GCS I wonder? Or is that a safe zone?
This video is Turbo-tastic!

I've always thought that King Candy was just a NPC that Turbo killed.

The "Shyamalan Paradox", I suppose you could call it.
@Tammi McDaniel I was thinking it might be the character with a face on his neck (don't know his name)
@@Inkyminkyzizwoz yeah
@Tammi McDaniel Well, as it turned out it didn't really have a villain as such. Double Dan was probably the closest due to his supplying viruses, but he did at least tell Ralph how to keep it contained
I just kind of thought of a way Turbo could have took king candy out
The time to do it would have been during playing hours because King candies not a playable character the game could have continued being played without him and none of the playable characters would have left the game to go looking for him during playable hours because that could cause the game to be decommissioned ..
So turbo could have dragged him out of the game during playable hours and he either killed himself or throw them into dangerous game that he had died in
Then he could have snuck back into Sugar Rush during night hours when everyone went out looking for him and recoded the game
Nice!
Maybe he got rid of Vanellope because she was the one closest to King Candy so she’d know something was off about her dad once Turbo took his place
I always assumed he just hid out somewhare in the outlet or was just ostricised afterwards and people just avoided him until he took over sugar rush

Yup
OK, here is MY answer to this question, when Turbo took over the other racing game, they got unplugged, so that ment they will all die or disappear, but, Turbo had an idea to leave just before they unplugged the game. When he went to the next game, he had to give his identity, so he chose King Candy, the ruler of Sugar Rush. When he came into the game, he eliminated King Candy and took his place. In return, he had no other choice except to eliminate his daughter, Vannellope, as well. 🙂
DONT HATE PLEASE!!!
"Turbo probably just didn't want to share the spotlight."
_That's actually brilliant!_ Here's a thought (which also addresses another canon plot hole)- at the end of the film, Ralph mentions that the players love Venellope, "glitch and all." I always see people asking why the reset didn't fix her glitch.
My idea is that maybe she was _always_ glitchy, even before Turbo took over, and she was one of those characters who was well known for having a "game-breaker" bug that made winning easier or got you otherwise impossible record times. Turbo may have made himself _playable,_ but the OP character that speedrunners (i.e. top-high-score-holders) always use to glitch their way to victory would still be *_the most popular._*
Doesn't explain how she learns to "control it," though. =^p
But if Turbo killed the original King Candy inside Sugar Rush (staying inside his own game) surely he should have reset? He didn't die outside his own game
Emma Kenyon NPC’s don’t regenerate.
Ian The Hedgefox Ah right, never knew that
Maybe turbo found a way to replace king candy's code like if you put a picture that has the same name as another picture and then put that picture in the same file and then your asked by the computer "do you want to overwrite this picture?" And turbo would have push yes. Idk this just came to my mind :-\
Salmon, it's obviously salmon. And they probably made it that color because it's what they thought of when creating the candy kingdom, a pink/salmon castle. Besides men can wear pink and still look masculine (masculinity isn't that fragile.)
*you're asked
the hair is V drastic

Cai Davies Yes it does
100% yes!

Wow. That was one of your best theories in my opinion. Love your work man!
when the game resets if you look behind Ralph in the side line below the KC stand king candy's face is still seen and because Turbo/King Candy was eaten by a cybug when the game reset Turbo would either still have a chance to come back or king candy would regenerate... but if Turbo combined his *AND* king candy's code that could mean that Turbo could regenerate too.🙀🦊
If turbo combined his code with king candy, wouldn't that cause king candy's code to become corrupted and so no longer part of the game or something, you know maybe like a virus,im just wondering
Appealing sword actually if that were the case I guess it would be fixed when the game reset.🦊🐈
Oh ok,thanks :-)
Sandra maxine It would be corrupt code that’s unable to load
@@smccookie and also he becomes a virus @ the end too
THIS IS ACTUALLY THE BEST THEORY EVER!! I LOVED IT SO MUCH!!
This isn't even a theory that's basically what the film says
He has collabed with SuperCarlinBrothers, they did a few Harry Potter videos.
With my Mind And My Imagination 1.word....Film Theory
Wait that’s 2
With my Mind And My Imagination was that pun on purpose?
With my Mind And My Imagination He makes the crucial mistake of not using video logic... he is completely wrong
Do explain
So I'm thinking the reason you don't see King Candy at the end is because when the game resets, he's presumingly reset in his castle which is too far to get to the track on time and also, he probably only ever goes to the track if a player races.
0:44: "you don't even want to know how many tries that took to get right"
You don't even want to know how long it took for me to get to that.
I did the exact same thing!
It also explains why none of them are confused by king candy being in charge because ... king candy was in charge and their memories of him weren’t deleted.
Seamus is adorable
Actually that would make sense on why king candy never respawned when the game reset, since turbo injected himself into king candys code they basically merged but since turbo wasn’t originally from that game it deleted him but since king candy was fused with Turbo it deleted him as well not able to recognize him as his code was jumbled with another one from outside of his own game
does that mean cybugs saved sugar rush because the cybug made Ralph go into the game and because turbo turned into a cybug he ended up being attracted to light
Ok my head hurts
Brandon Vollmer Wow. Never thought of it that way.
#jointhesupportralphbreakstheinternetalliancetoday
~It all makes sense now doesn’t it 😭
In my opinion he's the creepiest villain
Love it love it! U should make a video about that!
I like this guy. A LOT.
Looks like you’re right about this because Disney remade the Lion King and they made Nala a much more compelling character
I noticed something. On the side of the game, the car Vanellope is in is the same car Turbo races in during the final race. Plus the slide to get onto the track might have been for Vanellope to get into her car and race.
King Candy is gone because Turbo took him from the game and killed him.
Cat Claws BIG LOGIC MAN I WAS MISUNDERSTANDING ABOUT THAT BUT YOU EXPLAINED IT THANK YOU
Perhaps Turbo lured King Candy out of his game (perhaps congratulating him on his game's popularity) and killed him. It taken out the AI of the character and he gone in Sugar Rush's code and put his own AI in place. Then, what you said would occur
That really helps back up the theory here :)
Oh my gosh! Poor Vanellope, her entire life had been ruined thanks to Turbo!😡🤬😭
Edit: also she doesn’t have her dad anymore!😭😭
Lucia Bangs I wonder if she ever figured out about what happened to her dad... Tune in next time to find out!!!!

6:26 means turbo murdered KC outside sugar rush
Maybe Turbo took the original King Candy to another game and killed him there.
wow... makes even more sense that he picked Vanellope because her being his daughter, and a princess, she would be the only possible character standing in his way of total authority... excellent theory, or more story cause I'm convinced it's true
The hair cut got me shook
Great Video! Love the theories! Keep them up!!
You make SUCH GOOD THEORIES!!! Anyone who views your videos can tell how much work you put into your theories and all of them are SO BRILLIANT!
me reading the title: no way
me after the video: woah how did I never see this before
THANK YOU TURBO IS SO FRICKIN UNDERRATED
I love your Profile Icon!
Minnie Mouse is _adorable!_ ♥
Nice haircut Seamus
I just realized that i never comment on your videos even though I literally watch EVERY SINGLE ONE and I don't know why. This video was great and reminded me that I need to watch Wreck it Ralph again cause I definitely haven't seen it enough. I would love to make theories like you and SCB, but you guys have a sense of creativity and imagination I might not have. You think of things I never even considered and you're one of my favorite people to watch online. Keep creating, cause I'll always be watching! Would love to meet you one day 😊
