Thank you Christine, I've been worried about my finances for a while and this video gave me the push to ring my credit card companies, consolidate my debt into as low interest lumps as I can and download a budgeting app (the one you recommend doesn't seem to be available in the UK) and I've started filling it in. I'm determined to set myself free from debt! 😌
I've been using EveryDollar and following Dave Ramsey for a couple months now and it is seriously so helpful and easy! Thanks for sharing! It's the best budget app I've ever used.
Thank you for sharing this video!! I have Everydollar but haven't put it to use. Now that I see how you use it I'm going to get started on mine. I really want to get my house paid off and I'm trying to keep a tight budget so this will keep me on track! Thanks Christine!
This made my day!! I've been looking for an easy electronic budgeting system! Thanks for sharing!!
Thank you so much for this video! Been using everydollar since about a year now (thanks to you) and it works wonder. I know where my money is going, I can plan in advance and I don't get bad financial surprises anymore!
I will use this budget tool to save money for my next trip.
This is so clean and easy to use. I just feel in love with it.
Thank you so much for posting this! I was getting off track with my budget and didn't know how to get back on I think this will work great!
cool! Thanks Christine! I'm going to try the app because I'm in the middle of trying to figure out how to budget. You're awesome!
So great and detailed...love Dave Ramsey too! I'm on fire to get out of debt so bad...I can't wait, but I'm definitely on my way. I'm really loving your channel.
Omg this was a very helpful video, I'm so glad I know this app now since I'm just beginning to balance all these adult expenses (graduated from college just a year ago) thank you!
Just got married and it is hard to keep up with the budge. Glad to see this video and it helps a lot. Thanks you!
This is so great! I've been meaning to give this a try... thanks for the info. I just set up a budget for the last week in June, plus July. I've always done more of a yearly budget, but I can really see the benefit of doing a monthly one since things do change (vacations, etc.) I already feel more on top of things :)
Thanks Diana! That's great, yeah a monthly budget really helps keep your game plan on track. :)
You have helped me so much the past year with your videos!! Thank you so much! Your so smart and pretty

Thank you for this! I have been doing mine on an excel spreadsheet and while it helps to see what is coming in and going out, this is SO much better!
Thanks for sharing Christine!! Great video as always!!! I love Davey Ramsey and his every dollar budgeting tool!!! Makes it so easy to budget!!! My favorite part is the percentages part and that it automatically calculates when you put your numbers in.
Thanks Reynelle! Yasss, love Dave Ramsey, so inspiring with his no-nonsense practical method. Just subbed to your channel too btw, you're gorgeous girl! xo
OMG such an honor!! Thank you Christine!! Btw I'm still loving the earrings and products I bought from you a couple years back :)

Great info!! Budgeting has changed my life and I stopped living paycheck to paycheck within 2 months!

That's great! Budgeting makes such a big difference. You get to "tell your money where to go, instead of wondering where it went." (As Dave Ramsey says). ;)
You made this SO SIMPLE! compared to everyone else, thank you 💓❣

Is your next video going to be a DIY/crafting video? I miss them and hope they're back soon.
I'm sure she will have many of those once she moves. i cant wait, shes most likely holding off on doing those types of videos to not accumulate more things before her move.
+FAIRYCHICA I agree. Plus she sold majority of her stuff. Lol
I totally agree also when it comes to DIY... she is the Queen... love her DIYs... and I cannot wait to see how she and hubby interior designs their new home...

I have a question - how you organizing all the paper documents at home - payslips, letters, reports, insurance and so on?
There is a computer system that you can scan it all and manage them well?

Hello Christine. I am the paper and pen budget person and it's very easy to go "overboard" - the app seems great but does it allow to choose currency??I am in UK. Thank you.
Also, can two people with two separate phones use the same account for this to keep it synced up?
Thanks for sharing. Although in UK says the app can't be downloaded. Anyone knows one of these budgeting site/app for UK pls?
Very helpful, thank you!
Great video. Thanks!
what I have a hard time with is if you get paid biweekly and all your bills are due on different days, how do you know what to pay when? yeah there's an dre due date but which paycheck do you use to pay what?
You need to look up a cash flow plan. I just use a columnar pad that I picked up at Walmart. I put all my bills and needs on the left hand side and next to them their due dates. I due mine by every Friday.
+Miranda Garrison thanks!
There's a great app to remind you of when your bills are due. It's called BillMinder and it's free!
I just pay my bills when I get paid. That seems to work for me. I also use the Mint Bills app. It's free and it sends push notifications on your phone when a bill is due
Here is a suggestion: Gather up your billing statements from a previous month (three months worth if you have them) for each of your bills. Make a list of all of your monthly bills (quarterly and yearly, too) and the day of the month each one is typically due. You can use a simple wall calendar and map out each of the bills for the month by the due date (e.g., if your electric bill is due on the 5th write "electric" on the 5th and so on). Likewise, add in your paydays on the calendar. This will help you visualize your bills vs your paychecks so that you can better budget when and how to allocate your income, and pay bills ahead of the due date. If things are unbalanced -- meaning several things are due around the same date -- you could consider contacting some of those you owe and ask to have your billing date changed to a different day. This is especially helpful if you are currently literally living "paycheck-to-paycheck". Hope this helps :-)
hello could you do a video related on store credit cards i have one but i dont like using it. so could you explain what happens if you don't use it or how to use in a smart way.
Seems like a really good site to use.

Thanks so much.
I could not find the EveryDollar app, is it for Android phones?
thank you thank you thank you!
Great app.
I downloaded the app on my tablet. I am confused as to how to start my budget. The app I downloaded doesn't have a chart and it doesn't look like what you are showing either.
Any suggestion for something like this that has an app available for android? I have tried a few different budgeting apps but I haven't found any I'm crazy about but I'm really intrigued by this one. It's a shame it's only for iPhone.
Very helpful app.
How can I sync the info from my Mac to my IPhone? I logged all my info on the Mac first .
Christine I have a question! I associate saving much as a negative thing. How? Most of my friends or co workers spend for holidays or festivals etc. I have to say then to them No & I say okay this is for the long term. You want to save money. People can be shady "you never go on a holiday...you never go bladibla" .. I even lost a friend because of this. sometimes it bothers me in a negative way! I get in this victim vibe "sorry I have to save"....
Then I am like damn it why am I doing this saving? Why don't I live somewhere in a jungle ...
I do want to save because I want to be financially stable as a single women renting a apartment etc! I am 30 so I have a lots of years to travel later on in life. When I am free I do other stuff which are less expensive. I work already full time now as a care taker and I like it.
great Video.
xxx
Live your life the way YOU want to live it, just because your friends are always travelling and going out doesn't mean you have to follow their example. Saving is always a good decision, it doesn't mean you cant have fun, you just never know when an emergency situation requiring money may pop up; but even if that doesn't happen by saving your making an investment towards your future. But also remember to treat yourself every now and then. Don't let people make you feel bad about your decisions, your the one working hard for that money so you should decide what to do with it, good for you for being wise with your moneyp.s. im in my early 20s but Ive started saving towards my future as well, I'd rather have a beautiful home than an unnecessary amount of shoes and clothes
If you have financial goals, and you are already setting some money aside to enjoy yourself. Then people who call themselves your "friend" don't really care about what you want for yourself.
+Beauty Beholder thank you very kind of you to say all that! It is true I will try be more open for people who inspire to be true to yourself and the goals one has. Staying grounded is not always easy for me , but I can learn it!
+Angela Hoang they don't I guess. I have decided small things that make me happy books, good shoes or sneakers for work etc, good and healthy foods, free activities which are sometimes in the town or going see a movie...so they are simple and small activities which are not expensive! I guess I have changed past 2 years & some of my friends do not agree of my lifestyle..
+J Kim well I have asked them and they say they do not like to save that much and most say "i will go crazy if I do not go on holiday etc"... And also some earn more then me, they have more income I guess.....
Can you please share what car insurance company you use? Thx!
Great app
i love your videos !
+Christine How did you get $25 of auto insurance???
Question can more than one person have access to the same account?
hi everybody! the website looks great but the app is only available for iphones. do you kow of an alternative for android? something as simple and ergonomic?
is goodbudget (on google play) any good?
Christine who do you have for insurance? I have DTRIC and they're ripping me a new one! I pay $125/month, no accidents or claims for 5 years.
Also, my husband and I want to know what the utility rates (water, electric, heat) are in Hawaii? Or suggest where to look.
She said in the video what she pays for water and electricity
I don't mean amounts. I mean the actual rate. I can take the usage amounts I use now and figure out how much I would use in Hawaii. If I my central air is on 74 and hers is on 76. I use more electricity than her.
are cell phones that expensive in the us? here in lebanon it's like 25$ a month for reasonable talk time..... Neat video though!
