The Sunday’s: Here’s where the story ends! You’ll love it.
That is thee one!
This is a great example of a band who can make a song their own while keeping the things that made the original great. Good for them.
This version gives me goosebumps and makes me a bit teary-eyed. Her voice is gorgeous ❤
Beautiful reaction to a beautiful cover. Thank you!
Harriot Wheeler is something i really can not descibe! she is just! fill in the blanks!
I love how you two immediately got drawn into this song. It is hard to find a spot to stop it to make your first comments. Love your honesty and openness. I love this cover. Thank you.
The Sundays, and Harriette made this song their own, beautiful. My favorite cover song of all. Thanks for the reaction!
Wow, a reaction to The Sundays. I played the album Reading Writing and Arithmetic every day in 1990 for weeks on my way to work, on cassette. The wonderful Harriet, you must do more from them.
LOVE the SUNDAY'S 😅
This is one I became familiar with from the TV series ' Buffy the Vampire Slayer'.
This song was in the movie Fear. I’ve loved it since 1996. So beautiful. I definitely prefer it over the RS version 😅
I think ‘Fear’ is where I also originally heard this song. Mark Wahlburg was so convincing in that role. Even if I watch him in a movie now and he’s playing a good character. I still find him slightly creepy.
Absolutely Beautiful!
Very sweet vocals in this. It reminds me of Susan Boyle's version. You would love to hear that one too! Thank you fir this lovely reaction you guys!
I always preferred this version over the Stones. In fact it used to be used in many tv shows.
great reaction guys. as you both mentioned, this female version of this song is very different than the original male version from the rolling stones and the reasons can be challenging to quantity but they are certainly there. if you want to check out another third perspective to this awesome tune, i highly recommend you react to the female/male live duet with haley reinhart and myles kennedy (and slash on acoustic guitar). it's another beautiful performance and somewhat blends aspects of these first two versions and even highlights how those unique male & female characteristics compliment each other. if i had to choose, there is a serenity to the sundays version that is difficult to top but all theses versions can (and should) be thoroughly enjoyed and celebrated on their own... enjoy and look forward to more reactions! 😎
I think this is the best version of this song as well.
But then again, I was never much of a Stones fan anyway.
Beautiful guys, thank you. I’m glad you enjoyed it. I think I mentioned in my message that a big reason for my preference for this version was due to 90s nostalgia. But of course I appreciate and expect that most people will prefer the original. I also usually prefer male voices. But I do really love Harriet wheeler’s voice, especially in this song.❤
Once again, thanks for sharing this beautiful music with us 💚
I love this band!!!
Wild Horses in October Project mood! ❤
Such a wonderful selection! I really hope you try their own songs at some point; they're just as poignant. Just like others have suggested, Here's Where The Story Ends is a beautiful starter.
Loved this band but never heard this cover before. Thanks for bringing this to me.
Anything from Reading Writing and Arithmetic, you will love. Their music has such longing and this cover captures that perfectly. I would suggest a live track from The Peel Sessions "Skin and Bones"
More The Sundays please
Can you do a fun 80’s tune called:
“Echo Beach” by Martha and the Muffins.
Such a fun tune. You’ll love it! ❤️
Check out the songs folk song summertime and gone by the sundays harriet has such a beautiful voice only made 3 albums reading writing and arithmetic blind and static and silence then broke up a great underated band
I'm surprised nobody has recommended you check out the song "Summertime" by The Sundays. It was the band's "most successful single worldwide". Really good song, and it showcases the lead singer's voice quite well. It's more upbeat/whimsical.

Harriet!!!
This is the best COVER of the song, yes I agree. But I still dion't think it's better than the original. Still, the fact that this debate legit, ately exists is a testament to how great this was.
🇬🇧 Susan Boyle's version of this is my favourite. Maybe you could react to That one too, you wouldn't be disappointed. ❤🎼🎶
Buffy Season 3 Episode 20 "The Prom"
It's sweet. I have to say though, it doesn't grab me like the original. I can see that it would appeal more to the younger generation of it's time that it was meant for.
Do more Rolling Stones
The first time I heard this version was on a Budweiser Clydesdale commercial for the Superbowl- haha! I was instantly hooked.

Please Harriet comeback.
Love The Sundays but such a great song, it's not hard to cover,if a decent band & lovely vocals. Agree, prefer The Stones' version. Sundays have so many better original songs in my opinion...e.g. Here's Where The Story Ends...
It might sound crazy, but the Susan Boyle version is actually my favorite. The Sundays sound waaaaaay too "echoed." Susan Boyle is ALL VOICE, not obvious fake effects.
