Thanks Phil. The second to last graphic shows lows and highs across nz and aus. The high over Tasmania is probably the first high that seems to to be that far south this season, where as last spring summer a lot of the highs were moving across the country at that latitude. Which Seemed to give us on the east coast more southerly/easterly weather, which brought a wet spring/ summer. Just wondering if you had yearly graphics which if speed up would show how the weather systems moved across the country, then you could compare that to how they are moving across the country this season. Talk about the climate drivers that influence how and where these systems move across country. Thanks very much for all the work you and your team do.
We don't have a year graphic sorry - although I have seen one before from NOAA in America. Niwa have the tech to easily do it, perhaps ask them :) Thanks for the kind support and hope things are panning out ok for you weatherwise this spring.
Hi, question, I just watched both your Aus and NZ reports from today but noticed on Wednesday on the Aus report, there is a rain all up the East coast of Aus (5.50min) but in your NZ report, Aus in the background, on Wednesday it shows little rain for Aus East Coast (3.24min). Why do these two reports show different weather for Australia's East Coast for the same day? I ask as I have a Blueberry farm just out of Grafton and we are harvetsing our Winter crop and rain is no good for ripe blueberries. Many thanks, By the way, great broadcast, keep up the good work.
Hi there, that's because in the Aussie videos we show 24 hour of rainfall/shower build up - but the NZ one we only show where wet weather is at 12 noon. This is because NZ has many showers and they are easier to see with a 12 noon snapshot - otherwise every day has blue shading all over us. But in Australia some of the downpours are heaviest later in the day at different time zones - so the only way to capture that is to show 24 hours of possible rainfall. :) Thanks for the kind support!
Well it been 3 day were is our weather stop mucking us farmers around do ur job all the other weather is shit come on this is the most busy time 4 us and ur clowning around
So you wan't me to never have a day off while you pay me nothing at all for my work? Nice one mate. Why don't you use our website: RuralWeather.co.nz as I built it for you to use at no charge and it has more forecast data than Niwa and MetService who you both tax fund. You're very welcome. Phil.
Have a good break Phil, and the rest of the team too.

@@WeatherWatchTV thank you, that gives me a great understanding of how you show it 👍🏽
Ahh HA! So you do have more control over the weather than you are letting on, eh!😅 Enjoy your break.
SO much power!! :)
2:37 okay team Phil just gave the game away. If we want fine weather at a crucial moment make sure he goes on leave 😉
How does Phil manage to predict the weather every day with such stunning accuracy? Is he a savant? Is he a god?
Enjoy your leave.
