The stone soup story reminds me the caillou's soup of anne vaugelade. It's a french children album pretty much similar but the soldier is a wolf ! I recommend it ÷)
The version by the Brothers Grimm is more complete. It is, of course...grim. The moral is about how important it is to be content with your lot, I guess.
The fats, salts, seasonings and meat within simmer in the soup and add a lot of flavor. There's a reason humans have been making sausage ever since the time of Ancient Sumeria, when it was invented, about 5,000 years ago. They realized that they'd come up with something awesome, and people have been making them ever since.
Well, thats life in real terms😂 not everyone has a happy ending😄 Even the most famous stories adapted from Grimm brothers folklores oollection had horrible endings but were changed as they got adapted!
