We put in a new board and it worked for 5 minutes then blew. The tech tossed his arms into the air and said to get a new washer. And this guy was the only tech we could find in the entire area that would even touch this machine
If I’m not getting a voltage read with my multimeter when testing at the motor controller input area but I know my power supply is good and that the outlet has proper voltage does that point to an issue with the power cord?
Hi. My washer doesn't power in at all anymore I stopped during mid wash The power point works fine . I also plugged the washer into another power outlet and it doesn't power on Whst could be at fault can you make any suggestions?
Our Gwl15 only does 1/2 a turn then stops. I have replaced the drain pump and top and bottom bearings. Lights work on control panel and cab enter diagnostic mode. However we can't exit. Comments appreciated. Rick from Kansas.
How do you know the buttons were working? I have a unit that will not power on or show any display but the buttons are caved in but you can still hear them quick when you press them
Hi, what if it's the power supply? I tested the power coming in to the board and I think there is none. It's not the powerpoint, I tried it in a different one. Can the power supply be replaced and is it worth it.

I thought you were going to repair the existing board? Is it not possible? Mine the fuse on the board is blown. Can I not desolder and remove it and resolder a new fuse in? If yes where can I get the fuse revision kit without the board? Can I purchase a fuse holder somewhere and crimp it in on the brown wire side of the pump?

This is MISSING the inline fuse for the pump wires. It should be added anytime you service or replace the MCM. (F&P made a service bulletin a while ago on this) Great video tho!
I did this and it now turns on, but when I click start it just says “lid lock” and won’t run. The lid does not lock. When I turn it off, it automatically turns back on and random lights turn on but nothing happens. None of the other buttons are responding besides Start and Power. Did I do something wrong?
Was the water supply on from the laundry tap? Mine did this because I didn’t know my kids turned off the tap that supplies my washing machine it’s water.

I have the same model. I am getting a power out warning, will restart in 10 seconds. Some days it works, some days it doesn't. I can also change the "dirty" setting and it works again. Any ideas? Could it just be loose connections, like other users have written on other sites?

Power coming into the board? Yes. But that doesn't mean that 1 of 2 fuses might be blown? Didn't check for that? Sadly, my fuses were ok. So yes, now I have to by a new board. But you should check the fuses inside the unit before buying a new board. You might get lucky!!!!
Didn’t have black and white wire . Had blue and brown so I copied the side you had each terminal and it blew up in my face. Looks like it’s a new washing machine because everything looks fried including the terminals to my volt charger

I thought you were just going to pull out the cards from the old one and plug em back in again for a simple reset. Omg of you gonna put in a new control panel u may as well buy a new damn washing machine.

I accidentally put the meter tester on the wrong wire and it sparked does that mean I need to get a new board
I'm guessing its the Motor Contol Module
And the board in the back of the piece that has the power and mode buttons on it

Ypu didn't check if it was the key lock function.
You may have just replaced the control board when you didn't need to.
This model gave me problems within 2 yrs of purchase. I’m not buying same anymore. The agitator also tears the clothes.

Electronics are supposed to be very reliable. How does F&P screw that up?
