Mercedes goes to great lengths to make this car quiet and then allows the pedestrian warning sound to infiltrate the cabin and sound like you have dropped a bumper and it is dragging on the pavement. It is obtrusive and annoying. If I had realized this earlier I would not have bought it.

Mercedes is so crap in terms of attention to detail these days. Things they used to take to insane lengths in the past they totally ignore now. Look at that left windscreen wiper. Its vibrating when it moves, it doesn't stop in a position parallel to the edge of the windscreen and it even HITS THE FREAKING A PILLAR and knocks on it from time to time. Absolutely terrible. Remember the single blade wipers in the past, and the engineering and attention they placed just into that.
