This is really underated
No one gonna talk about how they look the same.....and Goku and Vegeta both do look rather weird
They look weird because of the angle . And acc Goku and vegeta look the same if you take off vegeta's pissed off look and his hairline and take off goku's big eyes and out normal serious eyes they look the same bro

Nah dude, goku looks fine, but I’m sorry, vegetas face is REALLY bothering me. I think goku and vegitos face came out great, but I don’t like Vegetas. I don’t wanna hate btw

As a fellow artist, I think the main issue with the old one was the posing of the 2 characters in the back. It's mostly the furthest shoulder from us is way to stuck to the back and should protrude more and you can give more dynamism if you (instead of making the hands smaller) increase the perspective of the arms so that rhey seem closer to us. Finally, a think I like in Dragon Ball with blasts is when the characters get envelopped in light. The skin becomes quasi blue and the shadows pick up some deep saturated colours. I think you should try it, it would ground the drawing in one place.

The old one had a better face expression for Vegito, but the new one surpasses it on every other aspects such as colors gradients, posture, lineart and proportions !

The new Hair is alot better colored
Half way like the old and new Vegeta. Like that new Vegeta is blasting the Final Flash, like old Vegeta’s face more. Old Vegito and new Vegito are both great. Like new Goku just a tad bit more. Only a tad bit because his face looks like he has strong cheekbones.

I think for me, the old one are the better.
Personally, I preferred the Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru art style, especially for vegito, just like you stated though, goku and vegeta did need a rework

New Goku came out spectacular. I personally prefer the old Vegito with a bit thinner face, but that's a personal preference unrelated to the artwork :)
