Yes, we’ve found you the perfect site Pete and Su 👍. A steam train went by as we were setting up on the Sunday 🚂 as did several diesels. We loved it there and appreciated it not being too busy. It’s in a great location. Market really did have the wow factor but my attempts to pursued Gail to try the GF black or white pudding failed miserably 😂. She didn’t miss out though as there’s always a stash of goodies in her locker 🍰 We’re usually back out in February but meanwhile take care and happy planning for your 2025 travels. Really enjoyed watching tonight video, Burrs is only 8 miles away from us we have been and stayed a few times at the beginning of the season to check everything is working well. Summer seat garden centre is very nice, good friendly staff and a brilliant cafe, great breakfast. There is one thing preventing us from travelling too far at the moment and that is Gail spends a lot of time looking after her mum who’s 90. At the moment we don’t travel more than approx 3 hours away from home and for more than 5 nights. But thank you for the site recommendation, we have made a note. In hindsight I could have easily fitted it myself. However, I do show the TV hook up and briefly explain it in our ‘Holgates Silverdale Holiday Park’ video. Hope this will be of help. @ it was Salford about 10 miles south, only went to Bury a couple of times (Chesterfield football matches) and around 20 years ago for an off roading motorbike day before I got my licence

Hello Janet, Gail was so nervous at the woodland entrance she couldn’t remember how to switch the phone torch on 🫣. Hi there Dave & Helen, Nice to hear you enjoyed watching our final trip out this year. It was a great base and location and we particularly enjoyed our day in Bury. The market is well worth seeing if you ever tour the north west. Oh yes, the walk home in the dark ! Really enjoyed watching tonight video, Burrs is only 8 miles away from us we have been and stayed a few times at the beginning of the season to check everything is working well.
Summer seat garden centre is very nice, good friendly staff and a brilliant cafe, great breakfast.
On the road in were you saw the cows is a good icecream shop 'The Jersey Girls ' 🍦

There is one thing preventing us from travelling too far at the moment and that is Gail spends a lot of time looking after her mum who’s 90. At the moment we don’t travel more than approx 3 hours away from home and for more than 5 nights. But thank you for the site recommendation, we have made a note. What weekend were your the rob, we were booked for the weekend of November 8 but changed it to Ludlow , another fantastic site

Thank you Scott 👍. Sorry I don’t have a video showing external TV connection installation. My external connection point was fitted by the dealer when we ordered the caravan. In hindsight I could have easily fitted it myself. However, I do show the TV hook up and briefly explain it in our ‘Holgates Silverdale Holiday Park’ video. Hope this will be of help. Not very often you find a quiet club site is it. We didn’t mind in the least and enjoyed our open view. We really enjoyed our last holiday of the year and we did well with the weather again.

Never had the waste pipes freeze. I would probably pour hot water down the plug holes 🤔.

@ it was Salford about 10 miles south, only went to Bury a couple of times (Chesterfield football matches) and around 20 years ago for an off roading motorbike day before I got my licence
