He is 100% right about the comedy world. Rogan is close friends with comedians and promotes them. Even if they don’t need it like Chapelle. He still does surprise shows with Dave. If Patrice was alive they would be doing comedy together. Brain Simpson is a regular in Rogan and Donnell Rawlings is on a few times a year. The problem is acceptance and gratitude for people being great at what they do even if you do the same. People love Rogan because he loves talent and is humble. Not jealous. It’s an issue with America as a whole. Instead of being happy for other people we get mad that they do better than us. We can all learn from Rogan being happy for his friends and promoting their success. I hope all my fellow Americans success and happiness with what they do.

All English is broken English. Even the people who are from England the country from which the language originates from don't speak proper English anymore. There's Cockney for example which is a form of English that they speak in England that's considered not correct and there are several other forms of English spoken by Englishmen that are considered not proper English.

When I was a counselor at juvenile hall the kids had some free time to organize a football game. The teams broke up into blacks vs Chicanos. The blacks went into a huddle and started arguing about who would be QB, end or whatever position. After they finally organized they were stopped after a few plays and the Chicanos huddled up. A small Chicano kid was the QB. They huddled up and no one spoke. The QB set up the play and no one argued or said a word. We all know who won.

The one thing that I’ve noticed as a white dude, especially in the area that I live in, most people just want peace. Confrontation and conflict messes all that up. Which is why I think we try to stay away from it.
I personally have an issue with confrontation I hate it so much I'll do anything to avoid it while many seem to look for it they thrive on it.

I think it's a different reason. The context of all of this is politics of the industry it self and the types of people it lets in to m the higher rungs. I’ve observed amongst my Jewish & Italian friends that they maintain a very tight knit community and don’t break ranks. Solidarity is KEY to maintaining their power and status. I've always found Godfrey to be talented but off putting somehow. He reminds me sort of like a combination of Aries Spears and Wayne Brady in that he seems to have a chip on his shoulder like Aries because he doesn't have a bigger career while also trying too hard to please at times like Wayne Brady.
Honest observation and I can see a bit of what you’re saying. Initially, watching portions of the interview, I noticed that Shannon was not really into the interview solely because of how Godfrey was acting… seeking acceptance. Shannon looked over it and ready to go at several times. I can see the similarities that you’ve pointed out regarding Spears/Brady and Godfrey.

I am a Native American and agree with Godfrey on the importance of a community helping each other. My children attended elite schools; they had the grades that justified their acceptance into Ivy League Schools. Our community has programs that support our kids from the start of their educational journey. Kids who desire to enter professional careers are sent to preparatory courses to prepare them to score well on entrance exams, such as law and medical school tests. Also, networking is a crucial component of the process. Parents are connected to established professionals in the field where their student is pursuing, such as a lawyer or doctor, to mentor the student. The majority of us have much love for and respect for African American people. Hearing stories of disunity is heartbreaking!

Too often our voices are controlled by editors, executives, agents, and etc. But you are providing a comfortable place to allow all levels of celebrities to come and speak freely. You are amazing for this and keep doing great work. The longer you have this platform open the more people are going to start to listen and hopefully start to make changes.

It's always interesting when you get to peek inside the bird brain of a racist who naturally views and judges everything around them based on race. They're just on a completely different wavelength from the rest of us who don't care about race and don't think in those terms because we understand that race is superficial, boring, and unimportant.
