Not necessarily. Launch control is probably easier on the engine then revving it up in the high rpms. Kawasaki did build in restrictions on how often you can use launch control as well as a cooldown period when the engine gets hot.

9:04 why does it sound different when u do i a pull right here? Did u do something different?
That’s traction control cutting the power of the bike. I usually ride with it on all the way up on the street because it allows me to give the bike full throttle without going over backwards lol. Also it’s just safer. I turn it off when racing or going on highway. If you look at the dash you will see the light pop on and off.

I would recommend a 650cc then after a year or two a 600 or 1000
Trust me, don’t start on a 600. Most companies sell 600s as a track bike, like a baby 1000. Most 600s you’ll find are more powerful than a 750. My suggestion is to start on a 250, 450, 500, or a 750. Stay away from 600, 800, and 1000+ until you’re more comfortable with riding. Not trying to be a know-it-all; just don’t want to find out that you didn’t like the 600, the hard way.

The weight of the bike doesn’t affect your back. The riding position of a bike is what puts stress on your back. A sports motorcycle is more aggressive and thus puts more strain on your back. A motorcycle made for cruising is more upright and relaxed, so less strain on your back.

You would want to turn it off as it cuts power. It could potentially be useful for helping with wheelies, but it probably does more harm than good in a race.
