    Correction regarding FIVA "safe" position. When the FIVA goes to safe position, the main spool moves all the way left (on the screen) by force from 4 balancing pistons, pushed by oil pressure, located at the right side of FIVA (on the screen) thus, oil pressure goes to exhaust valve actuator and keep exhaust valve open. That calls FIVA in safe position.

    Sir, I have three questions.
    One, What is 'L' line in the figure and what is the function of it??
    Two, can the swash plate angle be differ to engine rpm?
    Three, if the swash plate angle can be different, then is it related to fuel injection timing?

    Is there any puncture valve in ME engine ..?? How ME engines are stopped??

    • @Adventure-Story
      @Adventure-Story  3 года назад +3

      Hello as i have seen. there is not puncture valve there .On the top there is only a suction valve.
      If engine goes to stop position -neutral position of Fiva valve achieved and there is not any injection actuated.
      Everything is electronically controlled by a very intelligent programm and algorithms.
      All this parameters check really fast in the programm and compare all the values and the set points.
      There is lot of things still to learn about this engines.

    Nedd Help!!
    The problem faced is that the pump plunger stroke of one unit is quite low compared to the other units and thus the exhaust temp/power output is low for that unit at low rpm of the of the engine (less than half ahead).
    But at higher rpm (ahove half Ahead) the plunger stroke becomes ok and is about the same as othe units with not much deviation in exhaust temp.
    Can you advise what is at fault FIVA or booster ?🙏

    what is the difference between fiva valve and elfi or elva ? i think one of these act pilot valve

    • @Adventure-Story
      @Adventure-Story  2 года назад +1

      FIVA & ELFI are the same and have a similar function and these valves operate proportionally. The position of these valves is transmitted by a feedback sensor. Each cylinder of the ME engine has a dedicated CCU unit. For Example, 6 cylinders will have 6 CCUs

    question: according to the drawing, the red "P" pressure line alway connect to the right side 4 pistions and main spool move lift?

    • @Adventure-Story
      @Adventure-Story  2 года назад +1

      Spool piece will need to come back later so any other connections that it has it is for the reason to created movement in case on side is drain when other side get under pressure other side will be drain and so on.

    • @tonygao1341
      @tonygao1341 2 года назад +1

      @@Adventure-Story thank you for replying me . my understanding is that: Red "P" port connect directly to the right side 4 small pistons and unable to be drained or released, it can be thought as a "spring". the pilot spool only control the left side piston pressed or drained, as the left side pistion is bigger than right side, it can generate bigger force and then main spool moved as required. waiting your opinion.

    • @Adventure-Story
      @Adventure-Story  2 года назад

      @@tonygao1341 mostly likely that small pistons are working like spring.

    what is responsible for the amount of fuel does inject on the cylinder cycle depend of the load of engine I mean on the MOP its is see that now we have 30% of fuel index where and what is resposibility for this because in the classic engine it is the fuel rack

    • @Adventure-Story
      @Adventure-Story  2 года назад +2

      Seems to be like this as the load increases more pressure increases in the system.
