Saw his farewell at St Andrews in 2015. He and Watson bowed out on the same day. Sadly Watson in near darkness but not bad to have 2 amazing players with 8 opens between them... Don't think we will see that happening on the same day again

Sir Faldo the greatest of my early ages. I used to watch his videos 30 plus years ago at the library and learned the game from there. Such of great memories.

Which of Sir Nick Faldo's three Open Championship victories is most impressive, 1987, 1990 or 1992?

I honestly don't think Faldo was ever given the full credit his talent deserved...... He was the best in the world by an absolute mile for about 6/7 years

His mentality was cold too, those play off wins at the masters. He was like the terminator crushing down on Norman that day too.

Yep. Got to have him up there. Along with The Big Three (Palmer, Nicklaus, Player), Hogan, Snead, Watson, Rory and Tiger.

Pretty lucky for Justin Rose to get paired with him. I'm thinking the RNA probably did that on purpose. But regardless that has to be one of his heroes

Not a big fan of Nick's shoes in his final open. Kind of looks like a goofball with them and his outfit. But I got all the respect in the world for him. In history almost have to put him in the top seven or eight. At least in the modern era
