I moved away about 5 years ago. I miss it. Lots of good times and people there. I live in Waco now. It is a pretty place with trees and water but the people seem friendlier and closer in Lubbock.

@@goalsfirst2895 I live in Lubbock.. I don’t feel that it is too dangerous although stats do say otherwise .. I think it depends on what part of town you’re in. My car has been rummaged through and i live in a middle class neighborhood -but I obviously feel it’s safe enough to leave my car door unlocked haha .. I’ve heard sex trafficking is kind of bad here , but again that’s everywhere .. overall I’d say I feel safe here

Well 98 th and ave s was a dead end dirt road I don’t miss the muddy road, traffic off 98 th can be a drag strip on most nights. But lubbock has really grown we have a lot of places to shop and have great restaurants. Our medical facilities are really nice but then I am a nurse just recently retired from CMG. We have really great Dr’s. And for that it does keep me here. Grace hospital is a top notch facility your treatment is the best. The plans really will be a great expansion.

Best place to live around Lubbock is out of Lubbock through the crime and drugs and the fact of congestion in the south part of Lubbock it’s just not worth it to live there understand that it’s disastrous to have Lubbock growing like it is when we actually need more in North Lubbock than anywhere else Think about it

@@Bird111648 appreciate the view point and you taking time to watch!
With crime and drugs, the most important thing I’ve heard is just don’t be around them. Doesn’t mean they aren’t everywhere and in every city though!
