Ikea sliding doors rails installation will take you from a-z installing bottom rails and top rails for Ikea pax sliding doors explaining Ikea sliding door rail kit including ending panels. Ikea sliding door track on the bottom is easier to install than the top one sliding door rail at the top is a bit more challenging but is important to get this Ikea sliding wardrobe door track assembled right as it sits on Ikea pax wardrobe frame and holding all weight of pax sliding doors.
Ikea pax wardrobe assembly instructions you can get 2 different assemblies of the frames in PART 1 and PART 2 than joining two frames in part:3 and part 4 installing w rail for Ikea pax. It is important to do this part right so you don't have later in assembly problem with Ikea pax sliding doors.

I have a question which i hope you can answer. I have 2 x 100cm wardrobe with 2 sliding doors, but i want to add another 100cm wardrobe to it. Is there a way i can have another sliding wardrobe, so having 3 sliding doors. So cutting the rails and adding on maybe? Hope you can help. Thanks
This video is really helpful i wish id found it before id built the wardrobes. Im not atraching the rails and have realised my wardrobe is upside down. Will it still work if i use the bottom rail at the top and vice versa. Thanks

Thank you so much for this video! We really want this PAX with sliding doors. However, the height of the place where it will sit is 80" or 203.2 cm in height. I believe that the grey plastic pieces that side ontop and help hold the top rail will make it too tall in those places where they sit! Do you think that we could skip using those? Will the long two screws that go in the front and the 8 smaller grey plastic pieces that get screwed inside to help hold the upper rail will be enough? We have a higher ceiling in the rest of the room - so we can assemble upright and slide it into the space easily. With th grey plastic pieces on top can you confirm the height where those pieces are? Thank you so so so much! This saved me a possible nightmare if I would have purchased...need to know if it will fit first!!

I have some problems about my IKEA Hasvik sliding wardrobe assembly installation, I have no idea what happens.
When I try to install these parts at the bottom, I find that it can’t fit in, it has some gap around the center area, how can I do, what’s happening? Why has a gap? Have I did something wrong step?

There is new version for Ikea Pax doors (different top and bottom hinges and rails) not sure if you have previous version or the latest one. It works both ways. I usually do first sliding doors first just for easier access from inner side if need.
Hello....I know this doors come in pairs, but I can only fit 3 cabinets of 40". I would like to have 3 sliding doors of the same size, but Im not sure if the rail would allow me to do so, given that its meant for pairs, not 3 units.
Can the rails roll over 3 cabinets, instead of only two?

Hi, i have a pax 3m. Do you know how to Assembly the Doors for this Corpus? I have 4 corpuses,75cm each and two big doors. But there is no rail to connect the complete area, only rails for 1,5m. Can you connect the rails somehow? It drives me crazy...
I would like to know how much space from above the wordrobe is needed to assemble sliding doors. The hight of the place for the wordrobe is 236,5 cm, the wardrobe is 236,4 cm. The room is 255 cm high.

Tnx for the video's. I have one annoying problem, my sliding doors do not close well. The left door is perfect below with the hairs closing very well. However the upper half side has an opening, making it not symmetrical.
The right door has the opposite; the upper side closes very well, but the below half has an opening. Any advise?
You can adjust sliding doors little but some time is easier just put something under one corner to lift the wardrobe little up. Other option there is adjustable legs sometimes you can adjust small gap this way. It is hard to explain there is more stuff to avoid this usually if you make pax frame right should not have the problem with doors. I will do video in sliding doors adjustment soon with all the details.

I think your pax frames are not in the right position. There is adjustment on the top hinges but before you do that try to put something under wardrobe one corner that may help.

Your videos are making my life easier! I have a question though I followed your steps but the 8 inside pieces that get screwed in aren't completely flush when I put them in. I'm not sure what the issue is, do they need to sit inside the small gap between the frame and the wardrobe or should they be resting on the edge of the wardrobe. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've got a question though - is it possible to adjust the sliding doors in a way that there is a small gap between the door and the ending panel ? In my case the wardrobe is right against the wall and it would make opening the doors easier (putting your fingers inside the gap)... I thought I saw it in one of your videos, but I can't find it now. Thanks

Hi, Thank you for all these amazing videos. We are just putting our PAX system together but when we stand it up we only have 6cm clearance. Do you think we can still install the top rail or is there a different way to do this?
Yes it is possible if you need to build pax frames upright here is how you do ruclips.net/video/iIuqzUXoR5s/видео.html and 6cm is enough to put the top rail up. I did with 2cm clearance 6cm no problem.

Your video has saved me so much time. Thank you very much. One question I have. My bottom door is not aligned with the side. The top is correct but bottom is slightly off and leaves a gap. I had the exact same problem. I solved it with a tip from PP FlatPack: You need to slide a small block or spacer underneath the left bottom of the pax closet, between the floor and the closet (in the front where you can easily reach it). Only 1 or 2mm thickness is enough. Push against the front of the closet, and then normally the front will lift a little. The unequal left gap on my door totally disapeared with adding a little spacer of 1mm thickness underneath!
