My 2 cents: Met deaner after a show in cologne, germany on the "Quebec" tour (2003/2004?!), got to shake his hand and had a nice little chat until we were interrupted by 2 smelly white stoners with dreadlocks who were giggling like 6 year old girls and (seriously) invited him to a "totally cool jam session" in their squat. He thanked them, politely declined, wished them and me a nice evening and went back to the backstage area. Always gotta think and laugh about that situation when I hear this song. Right on, Deaner!

I had a similar experience, was outside his gig talking to him and 2 really drunk guys came up and start asking him if their band could open for Ween. They were serious and really annoying, even to me and I wasn’t even the one dealing with them. He slowly started backing away and I took that as my cue to get out of there also.

@pittman517 No he's not. This is a joke. He just doesn't want to listen to shitty demo tapes of people who want him to listen to their music. I've met both of them and Claude too at multiple shows. All 3 of them were polite and classy.
