Smug Karen Attacks Young Lady For Not Serving Her! Acts Like an Owner! Regrets It r/MaliciousCompliance
Last story: should have had her arrested and towed away. With any luck she'd have attacked a cop and REALLY gotten herself in trouble.
Good morning all
Happy Friday RedWheel hope you are well. Thanks for sharing. Please stay safe.🏴😷😁👍. Have a great day and a wonderful weekend everyone
I was sooo hoping that the Karen would call the police on the HVAC guy for noise complaint.
One argument in I don't work here lady stories that baffles me is why do the aggressors think the money they use to buy products go directly to employees?
RedWheel I am a strange sort of Boomer. I speak to managers to tell them how well that they are doing and how well that their employees are doing. One manager said to me "Okay, what did we do wrong this time?" I told her about the bad service the last time I had been there and that "You have improved this place 1000%." She thanked me with a fresh baked cookie. Always say something good if you can and be courteous if you can't. Only had to nicely complain about a dozen times in the last 40 years to some manager. One time because the cook burned my food and tried to redo the meal by sending it out raw. That restaurant went out of business soon after that. Shame really.
Last story: The first red flag is her choice of apparel....zebra print. Anyone with animal prints are a telltale sign entitlement is about to happen and in astronomical proportions...
The manager was huge awesome though in helping IG out and making sure she was ok and gifting her purchases for free. Few managers will step up because they are always worried for their "Bottom line." Good show for the manager
Good morning RedWheel
Good morning all my friends
Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend

@@luciferpetrenkoff5040 You have us all spoiled, when you are late, for whatever reason, I almost panic, I don't want to miss you! But I'm getting better at this computer stuff!

In the last story. Do the Karen's & Kevin's really think that they are going to get someone fired by complaining to the manager? Especially someone who does *NOT* even work there?
Any manager who fires an employee solely on the word of a customer needs to be fired. Especially if said employee has a good work history.
But the stories that I absolutely *LOVE* are the ones where the Karen or Kevin apparently have forgotten that there are security cameras practically everywhere these days. Und not only that but if you look up at the ceiling you'll see that they usually overlap each other. So that the odds are very good that you are being recorded by multiple cameras.
But my absolute favorites are. When the Karen/Kevin tries to say that the manager, security, cops don't need to look at the recording, they can take their word. Or they try to claim "everybody" knows that aren't always accurate. Or the best one, is when the cop comes out of the manager's or security office, handcuffs out. Und asks the Karen or Kevin's victim wants to press charges. Und Karen or Kevin's face goes white when they are the only one who is being arrested.
I agree the customer not always right, and management can be terribly wrong as well. Put crazy customer and a wuss of a manager in battle with someone who knows the real score, it can be a fun show to watch.
I've worked retail, and while I never encountered something like CL in that last story I *have* encountered all kinds of entitlement. Things like customers deciding to start using restricted (with clear signage) computers to do store searches, customers in self-serve stores insisting staff were required to follow them around with a cart to carry everything for them, customers insisting that clearly-labeled "NO GO" zones were the best path to their car (never mind the several hundred dollars' worth of unpaid merchandise in their & their kids' pockets & purses), customers who insisted on a store manager being called because they were "the only person who actually knew what was in stock" so they could ask where we kept something that multiple salespeople had already explained was out of stock, customers who literally grabbed the handles of a pallet cart filled with old merchandise being removed from the floor and refusing to allow staff to move it until they were satisfied that they'd looked through it all enough to be sure there wasn't something in there they might want... I got lots more, but the vast majority of retail workers deserve combat pay!
Not to mention the rare occasion when the POS system would flash a warning: “Stop sale! Item recall.”
& the customer would insist we sell it to them. We couldn’t. Not only for legal reasons but also because the system wouldn’t let us continue until the item was removed.
“But I want it!”
“But it’s on your shelf/rack so you HAVE to sell it. If you don’t, it’s illegal. It’s false advertising!!”
Sigh,,,, need I go on?
Buffalo Wild Wings, gotcha.
Want to wish LP and everyone a good Friday, and a great weekend. Good luck with your physical therapist, their usually not happy unless you're hurting when they leave.
The only thing I hate more than haggling is other haggler's
When I worked in retail, I learned a valuable lesson:
The customer is almost never right, and if they actually are, it means you really fucked up.
That's true for the NICE ONES. Holy shit is it frighteningly true for the bad ones.
A “good” manager would have called the cops and at least had CL trespassed
For crazy clients, if you're going to make a contract with them,... Make up a signed contract of work details and have them pay up front... Therefore... No Pay, No Work.
And possibly have pictures of before and after work, and have the client to be in the picture with the "smiling and thumbs up" for every work done in the list.
Heating Ventilation AirConditioning!
Why did the chicken cross the road………. He saw Karen coming….
Ig was assaulted. M should have called the police, not let her go.
I was in a discount retail store once to buy a lot of film for a job I had to shoot the next day. A customer was asking a lot of questions about a camera that the clerk couldn't answer. I offered to help the guy buy his camera if she could go get my 40 rolls of the film I need. I worked sales at another store, so I know how to close a sale. They bought a $200 camera, tripod, flash and a case, and I got my 40 rolls of film, but no commission check, and I still had to pay for my film. LOL, The store I worked at couldn't sell me the film, because it would have left them high and dry.
I understand the logic from a business perspective (want to keep a customer, cancel out the bad experience), but always thought it was dumb that a customer that the company has no control over harassing another customer leads to free or discounted stuff for the victim. Presumably I could go into a store with a friend who doesn't mind never coming back to that store, the friend could "harass" me, and I could get some discounted/free merchandise from the store.
I enjoy hearing your selection of Reddit stories please keep it up!
HVAC stands for Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning...
I spread the word to all landscaping companies about Mr. Cheapo.
3rd story. Should have pressed charges.
Thanks again Redwheel
I would’ve told the guy quote either pay the price or we’re taking everything back and blacklisting you with everybody in town”
I wouldn’t of done the job in the first place, or I’d of got payment up front from him.
12:08 "... where he whole basket was given to her for free." Plot twist: Later IG and CL are seen in a coffee shop, sharing a dessert, and CL says, "See? Didn't auntie tell you I'd get you a whole wardrobe for nothing?"
The landscaping story, OP's parents were not very smart taking on that job as it was clear from the start that the guy was a massive cheapskate and had no respect for other's time/money. But at the very least I hope OP and his parents talked to all the other landscape companies in the area and warned them of how this guy tried to not pay the bill in full.
They were hoping against reality one last time. it seems likely, by the fact he called back, that every other landscaping company had him on a "Hang up on this idiot" list. They put him on their list
(2nd story) EP's baby: MA you said you'd have more beer from when I woke up
EP: See you woke up my baby
(how I picture most stories where there is an unseen "baby", "child" or a Karen.
Aahaha the HVAC story, great (sister's) in-law 😆
1st happy Friday 😊
You have an awesome boss and your sister has an awesome father-in-law
When they trespass people from stores and whatnot and the are also have multiple locations how would they know? Heck thar CL could come back in a few days. After getting a haircut, changed the color etc.
True, but since this is a Xaren we’re talking about, there’s a little chance that this person will be able to avoid being a Xaren. Recognition would be immediate, and the store would have the legal footing to arrest this person for trespassing.
FYI The $ goes in front of the amount of money and not behind it. $1600 is the correct way to represent the amount of money you are writing about.
Pet food has been n short supply from the wholesale companies, it is a national shortage. I happened to be talking to a stocker at my local wall store, He was telling me the employees are having trouble getting pet food for their own furbabies, but at least three times per shift someone who cannot comprehend the reason 4o feet of shelving is empty will ask them to go in the back to get some from their hidden stash. I use Chewy, so it is not a problem for me. It amazes me that would be customers actually think there is a hidden stock of pet food for employees only. He said it happens more in pet food because, in his rarely humble opinion, the pets ae smarter than the owners, and know not to try to buy what is not in stock.
Morning. Love the first story
I do think when some assaults u or attacks u acting with the whole thinking u work here or their I do think beating them should be classed as self-defence at this point. On the last story sorry but grabbing ur headphones in a Assault way n then jump n attack is bad n getting a bloody beaten should also be in a form of teaching the entitled Crazy’s a lesson. I punch any who attack me in any way n claim it as self defence lol
second story, clearly a boss that dont accept bs
There are so many, many "I don't work here" stories that I'm beginning to think that there can't be that many idiots that don't believe you when you say you don't work there and suspect some may be made up. Although, now adays there are a lot of unbelievably ignorant, mean and stupid people so guess there may be a lot of customers who just won't take no for an answer.
Hy Redwheel (ummmm I forget is that how u spell hy?)
It looks wrong
@@gfd3609 HI.
I think we heard the cl story from the girls perspective also lol.
Forget that your way too expensive haven’t you watched people who garden for free 😂😂 ♥️🏴
This works for Karen's: I want to see your manager your not posting enough it should be 10 times a day..... Just kidding keep up the good work.
Do any of these stories have anything to do with malicious compliance or is this channel just clickbait
I would have done more jobs for the landscape dude. Make a quote, add a 20% a$$hole fee, and then cash up front before any work is done and money paid is non refundable and any extra work requested would also be paid cash up front before that work is done
