In this video I talk about what I can really see, with CVI. Unlike the majority of other blind or visually impaired people, who go blind Through something going wrong with their eyes, it’s the connection from my brain to my eyes that has been damaged. While I do you have long distance issues, my condition CVI or Cortical vision impairment, is caused when The connection between the eyes and brain are damaged.

When I was born the umbilical cord got wrapped around my neck four times with a knot, cutting off the oxygen to my brain, which caused brain damage and left me with a bunch of different disabilities, including cerebral palsy and CVI. In this video I talk about how much I can really see, as well as talking about my different eyesight conditions.

My daughter is nonverbal and also has CVI and multiple challenges. Thank you for sharing your story and giving words to what she is likely experiencing. She also has a lot of birth trauma. She uses an ipad for communication and your information is so valuable! Thank you ❤️

You’re welcome, I actually have a friend who is in a wheelchair from cerebral palsy and while she can’t speak or walk etc, she’s actually very smart and also uses an iPad to communicate, there are different ways that people can get disabilities like CVI or cerebral palsy, but the umbilical cord is a big one, I’m happy to hear that my video helped you. I have a lot of other great videos on my channel, feel free to check them out if you have any further questions.
