The opposite of love is not hate. It is "not love." My dad taught me that as a child, including the only thing we really need focus on in life IS love. Everything else may be interesting but it's really extraneous. If what you do or what you will to have occur is rooted in love, it overcomes all the other perceived complications. He was profoundly humble and wise.
Love, that is what our son 24 years now told me he has learned creates everything. I was astonished. He is an engineer, very rooted in making a career and big money. I have talked with him about internal God etc powers, and though with no effect. How wrong I was, gladly. Young people are more awake than meets the eye. Gladly. We live in Finland, but I have lived in the USA, and UK and our son has red beard, as do I with blonde hair. So there is always hope and trust in the young. Just wanted to say this to the world. Thanks to God and all the elements for allowing us to be, albeit it sometimes be no fun. Take care and be good friends.
You can’t describe something using the word you’re describing, so the opposite of love cannot be not love, it just means there is not love but doesn’t describe the opposite at all. I think the way to answer this is to acknowledge what I am feeling when it isn’t love. I have noticed the opposite of love is fear. When I’m not in love then it is because I am in fear of something. Every time I am hating on something it’s because I’m afraid, fearful. I’m not loving or appreciating what is happening. I am fearful and afraid I’m not getting or going to get what I need like respect, food, housing, or good health. So when I am feeling negative I ask myself, ‘What are you afraid of?’. The answer is generally immediate and I am able to get back to feeling more balanced.
@@lisathomas1622 so might we wonder: if the polarity of love is fear, what is the spectrum in which these polar conditions exist? what is apathy the polar opposite of? What spectrum contains apathy and as the polarity of what? Perhaps the answer lies in defining the spectrum in which the polarities exist. Perhaps varying spectrums are all concentric spirals of ONE grand spectrum. Ei. Love/Fear may be polar conditions of a broader spectrum, perhaps Attraction/ Repulsion, all within a grander spectrum of feeling altogether, including (love/fear ) within attraction/repulsion, to what spectrum contains the polar conditions of feelings and its polar opposite being the complete lack of feeling altogether or apathy . What say you?

He's got A LOT of post a note quotes we can use that's forsure! I've written dwn a page full of his powerful reminders that are enlightening that I go back to regularly to help me stay on track. He's got a uniquely, dynamic, and beautiful mind. I really appreciate the depth in which the way he speaks/thinks because my mind pretty much thinks the same way . True, but that takes a long time to realize. I think if I am talking to the masses you gotta start at the core of it which is fear living vs love living. for the masses a more easy early on lesson would be to explore if they think war is necessary. Before they can get to we are one they have to figure out how not to be afraid of half the world. Get them to acknowledge wars are un-winnable. Just ask any soldier on the winning side if they want to go to war again. Just ask anyone on the losing side if they think it was fair they lost. No,war is bullying, fighting is fear driven, you can’t get to loving peace by fighting in fear you can’t have it if you don’t kill people who disagree with your way of thinking. Really it’s very stupid as I’m sure you know. When we can see we don’t want violence then we can really ask how is peace and love achieved and then that path teaches you in the end as you learn we are more alike than different,we are one… then maybe they might end up knowing the actual physical reason why that’s also true, not just one in needs and wants but one being … oh it’s so difficult to describe but I know you get it because you know we are one😂

Wow. Just wow. I did not expect to be so fully hooked for nearly 3 hours straight. Robert Grant is so brilliant, and every time I think his talks on math and geometry would be too much for me, somehow his presence just takes hold of me. I've been doing so much inner healing work these past years, facing my shadows and traumas have been extremely tough but have really shot me upwards in my evolution, but I gotta say, taking in wisdom such as the ones given here along with many other episodes of your podcast, has also shot me upwards in my evolution. I am beyond grateful to you André, to all your brilliant guests, to RUclips, to the internet, to technology - thank you so much for the reminder to be grateful for all of it and to see the beneficial value of all that exists around me. This episode has been so incredibly self-empowering, enlightening/activating, and mindblowing to say the least. So so enriching. My God! REG is SO open, aware of himself, and authentic! He embodies the entire universe within himself, it seems. I can’t even imagine what it would be like to know him. He seems on the verge of tears on almost every podcast, because he’s so unafraid of being vulnerable. I wish I knew him personally, but I’d feel so inferior! I’m happy to share - kind of hard to explain over text, but basically, I didn’t realize how much I was judging myself and a few people in my life for something. I was focusing on forgiving myself and the people that hurt me and releasing the guilt shame betrayal etc, but I was still putting so much judgment on any similar situations. Fearing that if I don’t then I will allow hurtful things to happen to me. It’s weird because I’ve listened to dozens of Robert Grant interviews and he always talks about judgement but something just hit different this time 😂
@@nikisd12 Nice, thanks for sharing :) Glad you came to that realization. I knew about the 'you attract what you judge' a long time already as well. But listening to the first 25 minutes or so also reminded me greatly of it. May I also recommenda book called "Existential Kink" it's about 'getting off' on your problems and connecting with the parts that actually enjoy it. It's another way of arriving at that place of non-judgment. It's an interesting practice to say the least.
@@nikisd12 I think I had a similiar situation as well, where I thought I stopped judging myself, but didn't realise how much I was still judging myself and others on more subtle levels. I think the key is to just let yourself be how ever you are in that moment and unconditionally love and appreciate yourself, because you are perfect now, have always been perfect, and will always be. ❤

I am a 75 year old woman and I very much agree with Robert. I remember telling my first husband that I didn't feel safe with him. That didn't mean I thought he would hurt me but that I didn't feel he took good care of me. On the other side of the coin, it seems to me that many women are not interested in a shared responsibility relationship, rather they want to direct everything. I wonder is this happening because they are not feeling safe? I appreciate the insight although late. Thank you.
Yes probably the system has produced a lot of damaged and weak men. Just look at the decline of semen potency, like alex Jones said they are turning the frogs gay. Just the daily struggle of man today. God and christ Martial arts and art in general got me better conscious with the cost of little isolation
The Universe - God - Serendipity will always provide us with the knowledge we need to better our lives in this wonderful world and time. With this fabulous conversation , Dr. Robert Grant have clearly and wonderfully compressed, what I’ve learned throughout different sources; but better yet, giving light with his new findings to many questions that were still in the air. I am 79 years old and I always felt love towards everyone and everything. However, not everyone was loving around me…. But the love I received from some wonderful people since I was little, still smiles at me everyday. My son, has asked me how could I be able to forgive? I learned that any negative thought is a burden… and I don’t like to carry heavy weight. As a matter of fact I feel wonderful when I let go. Thank you for the upload. First time to hear and know of this channel and the resource person- Robert Edward Grant.Though I may not agree with all his views & beliefs, I must admit I am impressed by his grasp of information, wide and deep knowledge about the laws of nature, about life/ love etc. As if he was given the gift to connect the dots.Some special words/ ideas I’ve gleaned : Divine Design, pain into purpose, Love is the Answer, the journey is more important, gratitude elevate/ increase vibration etc. This episode crossed my path today( 1.5.24) early AM. I believe this is an answer to my heart desire/ prayer- to make 2024 my entering the promised land,breakthrough ,culmination year! Perhaps Mr. Grant is a sign, all of these are granted.Side comments: this thought came after watching: simple “ blueprint” in life, sorround yourself with BLUE ( B- beauty,L- love, U - understanding , E - enjoy life ) Blue is the color of Heaven/ peace. Lastly I am also impressed with the comments- they expressed respect, appreciation , depth, wisdom. We are all Travellers- love is the way. Love is the Answer.God bless everyone.
I’m at that point along my journey where I feel this sense of truth that we choose our challenges to learn and grow from. My hardships are of my doing which resonates with me. However, I am struggling with the horrific torment imposed on other beings. I get so upset and worked up hearing about the atrocious acts happening around our planet, especially to kids .. it can be crushing. Anyone else struggling with this? Why such cruelty? Please impart your wisdom as I’m curious to hear thoughts from others 🙏🏽
Awareness is half the battle. Suffering is one of the unfortunate certainties in life, as it should be. Although it might seem paradoxical to say, suffering is one of those necessary evils that catalyzes all growth and change that ultimately makes life worth living(arguably, the very reason for it's inevitability). That said, the reality is that most folk oftentimes don't get the luxury of choosing what sorta suffering they will endure. Or at least, not consciously, I should say. Some folks have to cautiously navigate through unspeakable cruelty day after day for truly inexplicable reasons. Others have wandered so far for so long they don't even recognize it; it's become their baseline. Regardless of the how or what, it's one of the most profound foundational character developing mechanisms life provides. Although, there are a good many that certainly won't see it as such, it's typically a gift from hindsight that reveals the value of what we gain from a difficult experience. The point I'm failing to make here, is for those of us that are aware of the nuances involved are uniquely capable of recognizing the trauma, pain and suffering that ultimately defines the behaviors in others. We therefore have the ability to respond to unsavory deeds with grace rather than react with disdain. We can choose to recognize the fact that every single person we encounter was once a child just like the rest of us and somewhere along the lines, like the rest of us, that kid had to go through some real traumatic shit. One thing each and every single mammal has to live with is profound loss. Whether we have already or have yet to, anyone reading this will lose something they cherish. From loved one's to personal security to health and mobility, an unexpected loss has the potential to be completely debilitating. That's exactly what is needed when choosing how to respond. All we can do is choose the way we interact with the world around us. It's important that for those of us with a level of awareness to choose kindness, love and understanding even when we can expect it won't be reciprocated. I may be flat wrong but I feel it's honestly the only thing any one person can do for the collective.

Thank you ,I am a 57 year woman with bi polar which is a gift and I believe for me was God's way of protecting me from too much much pain and showing me so much knowledge and making me fearless in situations that I knew were wrong and standing up for vulnerable people and being able to make things right, often to my own detriment and being judged wrongly by a lot of people,these experiences were mostly when I was sectioned which I have been 14 times. when i first found robert edward grant i knew he was a genius. i knew he was extremely wise. i also felt he was lacking in his heart. i can intuit that his heart has opened and grown to be more equal to huge mental intelligence.

I don’t understand why Robert always does this - he knows enough about Ancient Indian philosophies, technology, math, sciences, engineering, language, astronomy etc but he still says Pythagoras was the 1st one to say earth is not flat. By that time, yogis in India know so much about the universe, planetary systems, calculating distances between planets and stars and earth being round was old news for them. This is not the 1st time. He always does this when it comes to ancient India. Something is up!

The opposite of love is not hate. It is "not love." My dad taught me that as a child, including the only thing we really need focus on in life IS love. Everything else may be interesting but it's really extraneous. If what you do or what you will to have occur is rooted in love, it overcomes all the other perceived complications. He was profoundly humble and wise.
Love, that is what our son 24 years now told me he has learned creates everything. I was astonished. He is an engineer, very rooted in making a career and big money. I have talked with him about internal God etc powers, and though with no effect. How wrong I was, gladly. Young people are more awake than meets the eye. Gladly. We live in Finland, but I have lived in the USA, and UK and our son has red beard, as do I with blonde hair. So there is always hope and trust in the young. Just wanted to say this to the world. Thanks to God and all the elements for allowing us to be, albeit it sometimes be no fun. Take care and be good friends.
You can’t describe something using the word you’re describing, so the opposite of love cannot be not love, it just means there is not love but doesn’t describe the opposite at all. I think the way to answer this is to acknowledge what I am feeling when it isn’t love. I have noticed the opposite of love is fear. When I’m not in love then it is because I am in fear of something. Every time I am hating on something it’s because I’m afraid, fearful. I’m not loving or appreciating what is happening. I am fearful and afraid I’m not getting or going to get what I need like respect, food, housing, or good health. So when I am feeling negative I ask myself, ‘What are you afraid of?’. The answer is generally immediate and I am able to get back to feeling more balanced.
R.E.G would tell you in later videos that the opposite of love is judgement 😊

What spectrum contains apathy and as the polarity of what? Perhaps the answer lies in defining the spectrum in which the polarities exist. Love/Fear may be polar conditions of a broader spectrum, perhaps Attraction/ Repulsion, all within a grander spectrum of feeling altogether, including (love/fear ) within attraction/repulsion, to what spectrum contains the polar conditions of feelings and its polar opposite being the complete lack of feeling altogether or apathy . Wow. Just wow. I did not expect to be so fully hooked for nearly 3 hours straight. Robert Grant is so brilliant, and every time I think his talks on math and geometry would be too much for me, somehow his presence just takes hold of me. I've been doing so much inner healing work these past years, facing my shadows and traumas have been extremely tough but have really shot me upwards in my evolution, but I gotta say, taking in wisdom such as the ones given here along with many other episodes of your podcast, has also shot me upwards in my evolution. I am beyond grateful to you André, to all your brilliant guests, to RUclips, to the internet, to technology - thank you so much for the reminder to be grateful for all of it and to see the beneficial value of all that exists around me. This episode has been so incredibly self-empowering, enlightening/activating, and mindblowing to say the least. So so enriching. I’m happy to share - kind of hard to explain over text, but basically, I didn’t realize how much I was judging myself and a few people in my life for something. I was focusing on forgiving myself and the people that hurt me and releasing the guilt shame betrayal etc, but I was still putting so much judgment on any similar situations. Fearing that if I don’t then I will allow hurtful things to happen to me. It’s weird because I’ve listened to dozens of Robert Grant interviews and he always talks about judgement but something just hit different this time 😂
@@nikisd12 Nice, thanks for sharing :) Glad you came to that realization. I knew about the 'you attract what you judge' a long time already as well. But listening to the first 25 minutes or so also reminded me greatly of it.
May I also recommenda book called "Existential Kink" it's about 'getting off' on your problems and connecting with the parts that actually enjoy it. It's another way of arriving at that place of non-judgment. It's an interesting practice to say the least.
@@nikisd12 I think I had a similiar situation as well, where I thought I stopped judging myself, but didn't realise how much I was still judging myself and others on more subtle levels. I think the key is to just let yourself be how ever you are in that moment and unconditionally love and appreciate yourself, because you are perfect now, have always been perfect, and will always be. ❤

I am a 75 year old woman and I very much agree with Robert. I remember telling my first husband that I didn't feel safe with him. That didn't mean I thought he would hurt me but that I didn't feel he took good care of me. On the other side of the coin, it seems to me that many women are not interested in a shared responsibility relationship, rather they want to direct everything. I wonder is this happening because they are not feeling safe? I appreciate the insight although late. Thank you.

I don’t have conversations with people in my community who think this way…and I’ve realized over the past number of years that I’ve been hungry for conversations that, essentially, open portals of thought…to new rooms in my mind where this kind of conversation prevails. Thank you for the upload. First time to hear and know of this channel and the resource person- Robert Edward Grant.Though I may not agree with all his views & beliefs, I must admit I am impressed by his grasp of information, wide and deep knowledge about the laws of nature, about life/ love etc. As if he was given the gift to connect the dots.Some special words/ ideas I’ve gleaned : Divine Design, pain into purpose, Love is the Answer, the journey is more important, gratitude elevate/ increase vibration etc. This episode crossed my path today( 1.5.24) early AM. I believe this is an answer to my heart desire/ prayer- to make 2024 my entering the promised land,breakthrough ,culmination year! Perhaps Mr. Grant is a sign, all of these are granted.Side comments: this thought came after watching: simple “ blueprint” in life, sorround yourself with BLUE ( B- beauty,L- love, U - understanding , E - enjoy life ) Blue is the color of Heaven/ peace. Lastly I am also impressed with the comments- they expressed respect, appreciation , depth, wisdom. We are all Travellers- love is the way. Love is the Answer.God bless everyone.
I’m at that point along my journey where I feel this sense of truth that we choose our challenges to learn and grow from. My hardships are of my doing which resonates with me. However, I am struggling with the horrific torment imposed on other beings. I get so upset and worked up hearing about the atrocious acts happening around our planet, especially to kids .. it can be crushing. Anyone else struggling with this? Why such cruelty? Please impart your wisdom as I’m curious to hear thoughts from others 🙏🏽
It’s a constant battle of good and evil
Yes, it's atrocious and simply should not be happening at all. We don't to experience torture to learn.
Awareness is half the battle. Suffering is one of the unfortunate certainties in life, as it should be. Although it might seem paradoxical to say, suffering is one of those necessary evils that catalyzes all growth and change that ultimately makes life worth living(arguably, the very reason for it's inevitability).
That said, the reality is that most folk oftentimes don't get the luxury of choosing what sorta suffering they will endure. Or at least, not consciously, I should say. Some folks have to cautiously navigate through unspeakable cruelty day after day for truly inexplicable reasons. Others have wandered so far for so long they don't even recognize it; it's become their baseline.
Regardless of the how or what, it's one of the most profound foundational character developing mechanisms life provides. Although, there are a good many that certainly won't see it as such, it's typically a gift from hindsight that reveals the value of what we gain from a difficult experience.
The point I'm failing to make here, is for those of us that are aware of the nuances involved are uniquely capable of recognizing the trauma, pain and suffering that ultimately defines the behaviors in others. We therefore have the ability to respond to unsavory deeds with grace rather than react with disdain. We can choose to recognize the fact that every single person we encounter was once a child just like the rest of us and somewhere along the lines, like the rest of us, that kid had to go through some real traumatic shit. One thing each and every single mammal has to live with is profound loss. Whether we have already or have yet to, anyone reading this will lose something they cherish. From loved one's to personal security to health and mobility, an unexpected loss has the potential to be completely debilitating. That's exactly what is needed when choosing how to respond.
All we can do is choose the way we interact with the world around us. It's important that for those of us with a level of awareness to choose kindness, love and understanding even when we can expect it won't be reciprocated. I may be flat wrong but I feel it's honestly the only thing any one person can do for the collective.
I love this journey! I keep finding these videos with Robert Edward Grant; he is such an incredible wealth and well of knowledge to drink from. Today I'm filled with gratefulness for the information and dialogue between you Andre and Robert. Any time with Robert is an opportunity to expand your consciousness. Me too, and only recently started watching him because I’m a retired English teacher (So the Ancient Greeks, hero’s journey, Carl Jung, etc. were part of what I taught, plus I’ve been sick for 21 years. That’s the puzzling part of my life. How did I get SO sick from toxins?

Thank you ,I am a 57 year woman with bi polar which is a gift and I believe for me was God's way of protecting me from too much much pain and showing me so much knowledge and making me fearless in situations that I knew were wrong and standing up for vulnerable people and being able to make things right, often to my own detriment and being judged wrongly by a lot of people,these experiences were mostly when I was sectioned which I have been 14 times. I don’t understand why Robert always does this - he knows enough about Ancient Indian philosophies, technology, math, sciences, engineering, language, astronomy etc but he still says Pythagoras was the 1st one to say earth is not flat. By that time, yogis in India know so much about the universe, planetary systems, calculating distances between planets and stars and earth being round was old news for them. This is not the 1st time. He always does this when it comes to ancient India. Something is up!
