Lets get this straight the West Indies test team is currently THE WORST in West Indies ENTIRE history.
This current West Indies Baord are a total disgrace. They have dragged West Indies crciket into the mire.
We have failed to make any advancement inn test cricket. Our batsmen have tje overall lowest averages ever.
We failed to qualify for world cups, failed to qualify for group stage kf worst cups.
Make no mistake this current Board is wholly responsible and they are a Regional disgrace.
These people are clueless bureaucrats happy to collect their paychecks
This new supposed system has done away with selector system and will be tje final nail in West Indies coffin.
Every top country in tje world works woth analytics and selectors system.
Nome kf hem gives the coach the final say. It is a disaster in the making being done by a desparsye amd failing Baakrd who are entirely without any vision.
It's all politics and TV revenue. But nonactual cricketing strategy
For starters West Indies urgently need to stop playing ODI crciket. We can nonlonger afford this luxury in our schedule.
We must solely on test and T20.
This will free up more time in the calender.
West Inides Baord mustnacfpet commercial reality that central contracts are currently obsolete for top T20 franchise players.
There must be specific style and brand of cricket adopted of our test team. Currently under Braithwaite failing captaincy we have nonidentity, no brand.
Why is Braithwaite still in the test team? Why is he captain? He is failing player, failing captain.
We.currently have bontop 7 batting line up. Only Hodge can stay.
Athanese has also flattered to deceive if wensre being honest.
The rest are nowhere near it.
There must be a massive reintegration of top T20 players into test team immediately.
The current test team is not a commercial or playing success. No fans attend marches anymore and there is no feeling of love towards the team regionally
Contrast that to the T20 team where you see the real West Indies under a real coach.
It require a reset with the Biard and players to get them tomcomebsck to test cricket.
Stop playing ODIs is a start.
Pay certain playwrs for their spelfuc time, not yearly contracts.
Test pay is now 10k/match by ICC.
Each test series is now 2 to 3 testa long, maybe 7 years a year.
Supplement players salaries by time.
For example the lost expensive players would he Pooran and Hetymer. Assay from IPL they lake 150 to 190k per tournament.
So if we jeed them for 3 weeks for tests pay them accordingly. They don't need central contracts.
Most other players ate easily obtainable.

Braithwaite Is a complete failure in the last 2 years as a player and captain. He no longer is a test level player. He is also ancapta9n devoid of inspiration and cannot formulate tactics. He is dour and uninspiring and has led us to our worst ever position historically. His stats are declining alarmingly and his waya of getting out are thst of a player in decline.
Batting for 80 balls and scoring 20 runs is not elitw level and doesn't progress the game ir help West Indies. Batting time is obsolete in modern game. Occasionally yes but more often than not it's useless and just builds pressure.
Games can be won in 3 or 4 days. This is how England, Australia and India play. It's the modern way. West Indies cricket Board and coach just never got the memo.
This man didn't play cricket so no way he should have top job as a cricket manager
