- This bike needed some going over. So, we made a new fuel line, installed an original seatr with all of its original hardware, went through the clutch and mousetrap system and installed a new fork lock.

You're like the Bob Ross of the Harleys. I learn things, but I also just enjoy the pleasant and enjoyable pace of the videos. Thank you!
Wow, thanks!
👍🙂
Thanks U sir for Ur wheel alignment vedioes I start income to watch Ur vedio than U sir once again.
Thank You for watching.
😂 I don’t blame you I’d want to hear the siren as well.
Yes. And it rained. Maybe today.
Yup, 65 clutch adjustment is a pain in the backside. When I replaced my fork lock I drilled out the old one. Not easy as you have to be very careful, but it worked.
Yup.
Cameraman Tripping 😂 Thanks again. All cool videos. Paul
Thank You. He did fine. Poor guy worked all day, then did a video.
It can be kinda tough sometimes when reading a manual to translate from Engineer-ese into Mechanic-ese. Those manual editors are engineer types, not mechanics, that's for sure! :) You are 100% right about the hand grip size thing. I bought an XL1200 Low that had super thin grips for really small hands and my fingers cramped and my forearms pumped up like I was riding an Enduro, just going to the store. I put some extra large Avon memory foam grips and have not had a problem since. But they don't look nearly as good as that set of leather covers that The Art Department made you. That is some primo leatherwork!
Thank You. I am fortunate. But, not to difficult to wrap your grips, especially when you have piano players fingers.
Man what a sweet bike. Pans are my all time favorite. But hey Mike, I don’t know if you’ve made a video like this yet, but I think we’d all love to hear about your story, how you came into bikes, how you cut your teeth learning to fix them, and how you got to where you are today!
Okay. Type in RUclips. Then, type in Pacific Mike. When our homepage comes up, click on the word "videos."
Then type in the search bar, "Getting a Job in a Motorcycle Shop." You'll see it. I'm sitting on Babydoll talking. There
are over 325 of our videos. By using the words I said, you can easily find that video.
🕵️♂️📹📽️💯💯💯👍😊
Those grips are soooo cool!....I appreciate the craftsmanship...and being an old carpenter of over 50 years, I get the sore, beat up hands.... arthritis is no friend to us old guys 😊
Thank you.
Great video Mark I really enjoy watching because I always learn something..just my experience I've actually cut some of those gas cap gaskets out of some flat rubber in a pinch 👍
In a pinch, we do what's needed. Thank You.
Like the grips! In 92 I sold tee shirts at Sturgis. I let a leather man named Big Al share my space. He gave me a pair of grips with the long streamers. I may just have to find where I put them, put them on,and trim the streamers to relieve my tired old hands!!
That's just how it happened.
👍😊
Nice leather work.
Yes. That's from Fred. A.K.A. the "Art Department."
Mike I've had that same nightmare twice with a mousetrap and a Rivera clutch I had the lengthen the anchor for The mousetrap spring so it wouldn't have so much tension
That is a good solution.
As always, your videos are top-notch. You explain everything so well. I've learned a lot from you... Thank you Mike!!!👍🏻💯😎
Thank You.

Hey Mike, as always, I love watching your videos, you’ve taught me a lot of great tips with working on my ‘79 Shovelhead. And I love the t-shirt I bought from you, I get a lot of comments about it as a lot of people know who you are and what you do! If I could make a suggestion, Cameraman Mike ought to have a microphone also, because sometimes he asks a question that we can’t hear, but you answer and we have to try to figure out what the question was in the first place, and many times they are good questions or comments that he poses. Just a thought. Keep up the great work, and stay safe. If ever I find myself across this big country of ours, hopefully I’ll “see you out on the road” ! - Mike from Long Island NY
Thank You. I'm paying attention. I'll look forward to seeing you.
❤️❤️❤️😊👍😎
ThanQ,. Michael

Thank You.

Will grab a shirt next month (aka probably next week) as I get my first Harley in approximately 2 weeks (04’ tc88 heritage). 30 bucks for shipping is hard, but they are damn cool shirts :)
Thank You. It's not thirty bucks for shipping unless you're in a strange place.
@@pacificmike9501 germany is a strange place haha :) but it’s worth it, love your videos, please never stop.
Thank You. I do apologize for the high shipping cost. I am proud you're wearing my shirt in your country.
👍😎😊😊😊😊😊💯❗

Glad you enjoyed it
Glad you enjoyed it
Still have that ancient steering lock on the neck of my 82 FXS . . where else would it go I suppose , but I do like to cut things off
Okay.
Hi Mike,I have a 1979 low rider and when I fill the gas tanks gas blows out under cap when driving and I can't seem to find the problem..any ideas...thanks for videos I really enjoy them
One side is vented. That's the right cap. The left one is not. The caps may need new gaskets. Easy.
Name of the place is ,I like it like that
You take Sally and I'll take Sue...
Was there ever a problem with a mousetrap ever releasing wail running in ger and taken off while standing beside and having to run after it
I don't think so. That would be a new one on me.

Are you on Instagram?
Soon.
@@pacificmike9501 yeah I would have loved to send you the pictures but what I did was cut the hook off the adjuster and welded it to the head of a 5/16 bolt that was longer than the original adjuster(spring anchor)
I get it.
