- In a game that tallied nearly 1,400 yards of total offense, the battle of Oklahoma came down to the wire in an exhilarating Big 12 matchup between No. 6 Oklahoma Sooners and the Oklahoma State Cowboys. On 4th and 12 with just over a minute to play, Cowboys quarterback Taylor Cornelius connected with Tylan Wallace on a 24-yard touchdown to make the score 48-47. Oklahoma State head coach Mike Gundy went for the win by electing to convert a 2-point conversion but failed on the attempt, giving Kyler Murray and his Sooners the Bedlam Series win.

@Chase Carroll I'm an OU fan, and whether Bedlam is in Stillwater or Norman, I expect a dogfight between these 2 programs going forward. Since 2010, You guys have played us like there is no tomorrow. Mike Gundy is one heck of a great coach and has OK State in the right direction. I'm not gonna lie but yalls team has been fun to watch since Brandon Weeden was yalls QB. Hopefully next years contest in yalls backyard is just as good as this years was. BTW, One thing is for sure, we both can beat Texas these days!! Lol

Amazing how they show OU score on their first drive. When it comes to OSU first drive they don't even give a play on the drive. It's called Bedlam ESPN stop promoting only the ranked teams stuff. It was a shootout as I thought it would be, one of the best games I've seen in a long time.

I'm an SEC guy and don't follow other conferences very closely... so it came as a surprise to me that neither of these teams run any kind of defense at all. It seems like every play is either a run or a Hail Mary pass... reminds of what the game looks like when my son and I used to play NCAA football on the PS3 lol.
Oklahoma's so-called "defense" is quickly becoming a national punch line. That secondary!! They are poorly coached and at times they seem to have no idea what they are doing. But I guess those two things actually go hand-in-hand.

Someone please give me a proper evaluation of our defense. OU clearly has a good offense, but is the defense solely coaching or are our players just bad? Maybe both? It’s disappointing how most of our games have been like this. I don’t understand why we constantly play so far off the line.

Tyler Tompkins Part of it is scheme. They play way off the line to avoid giving up the big plays, bc they know if they don’t score quick, the other team will eventually make a mistake. Another reason is bc the offense is so efficient. The defense is literally back on the field every 5 minutes and gassed by the 3rd quarter. and lastly, yes, the players are a part of it too. They don’t bring in nearly as many high ranked recruits on D as they do on offense.

Notcing the game is in Oklahoma for the WVUvsOSU will be difficult the reason I think it'd be rather easier than normal is because of the lack of defense for both Oklahoma schools, Don't get me wrong they are both amazing schools just this year is magical for WVU an amazing offence and an actual defense. It will be a good game either way :) it could always end up like Iowa st from us we choked away by playing poor offense. Will Grier has played amazing this year and only wants to improve each game. But again can't wait will be fun and entertaining the whole way. (OSU actually a team I respect in the BIG 12)

Oklahoma would get dominated by Michigan, Alabama and Clemson, because their defense is terrible. I believe Notre Dame is over rated but that would be a good game between these two teams though.

If OU wins out, they will play either a top-10 WV team or a top-15 Iowa State team. If both OU and Ohio State win out, OU gets in ahead of them. Michigan? No way.

@BleedORANGE Productions I am an OSU fan. Have been my whole life. But no matter how much we improve we still can't compete with OU. When, on average, we beat OU once every 8 or so years, that doesn't qualify as a rivalry even if the games are close.
