Greetings from Poland. This is video number 35 from your catalogue. I enjoyed the vlog very much despite the mixed bag of weather. The suspension bridge was great but, like the viewing platform, was a bit too scary for me - I'm terrified if heights. I enjoyed the McClouds castle especially the dungeon. Your history lesson was very useful. A nice walk at the end of the video to see Skye and The Old Man of Hoy. The still shots of Keira in time with the music were very clever. Thanks again and I'll see you again soon
Thanks Michael, especially for noticing and commenting about the still shots with Keira in time with the music since you are the first person to have noticed, or at least commented on that, and it was my favourite bit.
Sausages and Proclaimers.....a perfect way to start a video. Glad you didn't have to alter your plans too much cos of the windscreen. You are bringing back so many good memories for us with this series. We might just have to do it again next year.
Thank you really enjoyed it , sorry about your screen but 👍not getting you guys down were in lockdown here in Liverpool so nice to see the views despite the weather 👍
@@MikeandTriciaOotnAboot my wife and I are very like you guys normally out and about visiting interesting things , we consider ourselves lucky as we have a van and a caravan we normally site our tourer on the llyn peninsula north Wales but site didn’t open this year 😳 also we lost our little mini poodle Buddy in March which after 13 years and lockdown has been so hard so see your vids and your little dog brings a smile and great memories 👍sorry but just thought you might like to know a bit about your subscribers, thanks again looking forward to seeing the next video 👍
@@peterdavies7828 thanks for sharing that with us, sorry to hear that Buddy passed on this year, we come so attached to our fur babies, they are one of the family so understand that would have been hard. Hopefully it will not be too long before you can get out on the road agsin and start a new chapter. Best regards, Mike, Trish & Keira💕🐾
Nice video, I've been out that path at Scourie. You're a bit out with your reference to the old man of Storr though. That's actually the old man of Stoer!
The Scourie coastal path where dogs are bold and sheep are frightened 😆. But seriously you can't stop enjoying yourself just because it rains, after all it is Scotland. Hope you got the screen fixed ok. Looking forward to the next installment. Great vlog 👍
Thanks Nigel, in our case the dog was more frightened than the sheep. Agree, what's a little rain, your skin is waterproof after all. Thanks for watching 👍
We love all your adventures in WBV. We have just discovered your channel and spent a whole evening watching your vlogs. Northumberland and Scotland was to be our next touring destination, however that is now on hold.
Glad you found us Steve, I guess you are on hold due to covid restrictions starting to bite. We are OK to continue NC500 as its away from Central belt of Scotland and our trip will be over in a week.
Singing was immense lol loved it ....I loved that modern bridge across the landscape I know the purists won’t like any change in a landscape but I think it’s beautiful .....we like Ullapool a lot it had a good feel ... well done Tricia on the mussels I love sea food Jane is allergic so has no idea if the taste . What’s the mpg on the Toyota we get 32 out of Harry but I have had Toyota cars and they have good technology that way ? Enjoy your trip and great video watched the lot ....no skipping
Your delivery is very similar to the channel Life is too short, but with a Scots accent lol. Very nice vlogs, giving me ideas for when I get to Scotland in my campervan 😊
Thanks William, I am certainly influenced by Ken, I'm fairly new to this and trying to improve the story telling all the time👍Hope your ideas for Scotland come true!
Next time you're in Ullapool go to The Ceilidh Place for food/coffee. It's brilliant. We had some langoustines and wonderful split pea and bacon soup there this week.
Thanks for the tip, we love langoustines when somebody else cooks them as its a bugger getting them out their coats🤣. Didnt spend too long there as it was chucking it down....for a change.
Not sure why you wasted time on your trip to get the windscreen replaced.. It's laminated and you could drive like that (safely) for ages before choosing a moment to replace it...
My son in law said there was a tale about witches not being able to cross that suspension bridge. I didn’t cross the bridge. I make various vinegars n he calls them witches brews.🤪
@@MikeandTriciaOotnAboot of course no signs😉. I think we read it in the book of Scottish myths n legends along with the clootie wells n Sawny Bean stories
The walk was on the Walk highlands website and says you can see Skye and Old Man if Storr. I could see it very clearly from that point, my zoom lense is rubbish so the end shot was best I could do, but pretty sure it was the Old Man.👍
💓 gorgeous doggie Keira enjoying her walkers. 🥰
She sure likes her walkies🙂
So glad we found your channel the Wee Broon Van. Binge watching with a wee dram this evening 👍🏻 Trev
Cheers! its the only was to watch Wee Broon Van, wi' a wee dram 🥃

I love your morning walk by the coast! Looks so nice and fun :)
Thanks, yes it was a great walk that one 👍
Some really high places and those bridges. Wow I'm with Trish and would be glad to stay put. lol
Trish sometimes comes but with her bad knee I sometimes go off with Keira on my own and she seems to know it's a big walk when it's just me.
Loved watching Kiera scoot around on the Scourie coastal walk. Great video!
Thanks Del she loved that walk.

We do just under 40mpg normally but it will be less on the NC500.

Beautiful countryside. Those sheep weren't too interested in meeting Kira!
Thankfully not, she was on a lead at that point, and I think she was more afraid of them!
Oh no! Another of those castle/ house that the MacKenzie’s blew up(card game loss?) absolutely love taking the video journey with you guys
Thanks Marie, yes maybe a card game🤣 and after a few too many whiskies.
nice 1 keep them comming next year and if our vas ready we would love to do the run thanks Al

Six sausages... So one sausage went to the dog... Where did the five go.. 🤔🤔🤔. Don't blame you... I miss Scottish game..
Guilty as charged, they were braw.

We didnt know that but thats what the autoglass guy said.
Lol Trisha is on the tablet(s)
Ha ha, didn't realise the connotation when I said that🤣
How long will it take u do NC500
Hi Amanda, we are doing it over 3 weeks so that we can take our time and see a lot on the trip.👍
My son in law said there was a tale about witches not being able to cross that suspension bridge. I didn’t cross the bridge. I make various vinegars n he calls them witches brews.🤪
I didnt see any stories about witches on the notice boards at the bridge, but could still be an old story. Ha ha witches brews🤣
