Jokic doesn't even put his arms up to defend using his tall height under the rim. He has some habit of pushing the person in the torso to defend and they easily finish over his head. He had a couple of instances in this game where he put his arm up and deflected a lob, but it has been completely missing all season. Hope he improves and puts his arm way up

Nuggets might as well make advanced reservations for cancun the way they are playing currently.

I love Braun's "F YOU!" attitude. The way he disrespects the opponent is so satisfying.

Apparently his "fuck you" attitude doesn't translate to him playing defense.

Watched whole game, small and power forward is their problem. Mpj lacks athleticism, Gordon is missing.
They should sign two tall strong quick defense machine at 3&4 to offer rebounds and defense. Then add one 3 point shooter.

The Nuggies need two more veterans like bb or kcp. Saric's contract is a waste. What was Booth thinking when he signed him?

      @sammyslam1 22 часа назад

He can still move both Nnaji and Saric but i think he is going to have to offer either Watson or Strawther in the deal, plus maybe a future 2nd(depending on the veteran he is trying to get)

@@kmwong3808 .....i'm just not one to rip gm's.
It's a very hard job and i think some fans are forgetting how hard it is to build a championship team, even harder to build a dynasty, and next to impossible to sustain a dynasty.
Even if fans give former gm Tim Connelly all the credit for the championship season, there really isn't any evidence that the organization would have repeated or would be in a much better position had he stayed.
The gm(Booth) didn't create the new cba rules(that's between the owners and players union)
These are the last few champions:
      2018: Warriors
      2019: Raptors
      2020: Lakers
      2021: Bucks
      2022: Warriors
      2023: Nuggets
      2024: Celtics
So let's just look at the last 5 champions: Lakers, Bucks, Warriors, Nuggets, and Celtics.
Only The Celtics look like a championship team of these 5, but 4 of the 5 are at least still pretty decent(The Warriors seem to be going the wrong way)
A couple of teams look formidable: Thunder, Mavericks, Grizzlies, Rockets, Knicks, and Cavaliers.
So if we exclude The Warriors for now because they really don't look good and we add the other 4(Bucks, Lakers, Nuggets, and Celtics) to the 6 formidable teams, you still have The Nuggets as one of the top 10 teams this season(in my opinion)
The only team of the other 9 that looks much much better than The Nuggets is The Cleveland Cavaliers.
So yes, i think there is work for Booth to do, but there is still a full season and postseason left.
I agree he probably could have some better choices and maybe even worked with the head coach better but this is pretty common in the nba.
We're seeing some of the game's best players on less than optimal teams(Jokic, Bron, Steph, KD, Butler, Fox, Young, Wemby, Ant, etc....)
Sam Presti, considered one of the league's best gm's, has never built a champion.
RC Buford, also considered one of the game's best gm's has not been able to even build The Spurs back into a playoff contending team(so far)
I say give Gm Booth 5-7 seasons with Jokic and let's see what happens.
