    Probably the best "quick" guide to Explain Everything I have seen. Great work!

    They only let you use one slide for free. I don't work for a school and I can't afford to pay a plan. Are there any other digital whiteboards like Jamboard? TIA!

    Thank you for the video!! Does it also work as a board where you can record your voice while adding text, arrows, images etc in real-time?

    Question: Could I set this up for small group collabs? As in, copy the same background to 4 different boards, then give 5 students access to a board so that they work on together, screenshot and share their results at the end?

      Great question and something Sam actually brought up after I had filmed it. With the free plan, that may be a little challenging. You cannot create additional 'slides' on the free plan which would be the ideal solution to this; invite everyone and then have them working on different slides. And you can only have 3 active projects (whiteboards) on the free plan as well. That'd really be the only way to do it; make 1 project and duplicate it a couple times.
      There will be a few more kids to a project since you can't do 4 boards. You can have each board open in a different tab. Hope that helps!

      @@NewEdTechClassroom Thanks for the reply! I could do three groups instead of four in a pinch - would mean one more student per group, basically.

    I'm using Explain Everything on my windows through the web app. The problem is that there is a bit of a delay between writing with a pen and seeing the output on the whiteboard. I noticed that this small delay is happening on your browser too. I want to know if you've used Explain Everything App on Mac, does have the same delay as the browser app? Thanks.

      I haven't used the actual Mac app, just the browser version.

      Hey Etienne, this response is super late! We use an app called Screenflow (only on a Mac) that allows us to film both ourselves and the screen at the same time as well as do all the zooming in and stuff. It also let's us replace our green screen with our computer screen. It's about $100 and takes a bit of time to learn how to use.

    Great video, just wondering what program you use to film your videos? I love how it looks compared to screencastify or other programs

    • @NewEdTechClassroom
      @NewEdTechClassroom  2 года назад

      We use Screenflow which definitely has more of a learning curve but allows us to create more professional looking videos like this. It's only available on a Mac. There's a similar program for PC called Camtasia.
