LOL, I didnt realize that I have already used this title before! :)
Reese has a good step the amounts on your existing trailer hitch so you can steal use the ball and the step at
The same time
I think last time was for the air compressor install XD
@@shawndale3626 I would be interested in that
The Rhino storm step looks like an awesome product. That is a useful addition to a pickup truck. Stay Safe. Stay Healthy. God Bless!
Good idea that step. For me id just make my own . It like pretty simple if you weld.
Nice video! I have used the heat method for years as well as using ATF and finally the new products that you have shown once you get it back to shine status then you need to maintain it ! Thanks for sharing 👍
I was one of those people that asked you about the step on the side of the truck!! Great video brother
Nice step
Torch cleanup works great....its a 2-for-1 operation...plastic renewal and gas leak detector......
Puttin on some flab there Bubba
I like that step!
Thanks Stephen used your link and bought me one of these rhino steps you rock bro @Stephen Cox
Great advice. See way too many people riding around without a locking pin. But you have to remember to service the lock occasionally. Wd40 and work the mechanism. I live in Maryland, and winter is coming.
Project farm did a great video on stuff like this yep
God ive done that soooo many times!!!!
And man that friggin hurts!!!!!
What happened to Smoking Sally?
Did I miss a Good of the land or your channel for a week or so ?Just wondering...
God bless you and your loved ones.
Godspeed
thank you!
I use 303 aerospace protectant spray, really good stuff, you can use it on anything, rubber, plastic, whatever. Great on windshield wipers, spray and wipe once a month.
Can you please turn the Dutch vlag the wright way up on the left side of the Canadian flag. Thanks 👍
Yea definitely gonna order one.
PS. Noticed the motorola minitor 5 pager now I get why youre so good at finding what works as a vol. Firefighter myself we definitely test out stuff and find the best that actually works lol love the vids and use the wisdom in my roadside biz thanks and keep it up
PSS. In regards to trim ive had luck with the detail king dye it is more work but last years.
What’s even moh betta is a side bumper step with a handle rail welded on the box top. Your knees will thank you!!! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Another great video, keep it up and say hello from FOXWELL auto scanner 👍🏼👊🏼😎
All of my vehicles have very little plastics and there on the interior so never really worried about making them shiny I'm always covered in grease lol good info though @Stephen Cox
Hey fellow mechanic, I'm in 817 area code as well. Mobile diesel repair. Like your channel.
Good video @Stephen Cox
What works best for me for bringing the trim back to black is liquid black shoe polish used it on alot of different vehicles including a T600 KW bumper and side panels
303 protectant works great.Been using it for 10 years.
We all have had this happen with the trailer ball
I made a construction that has both. The hitch and the step for reaching on the truck.
Arizona has the same issues with plastic trims
I think we all have fell off or walk into a trailer hitch, hitting you right in the shin bone (ouch) use my hitch at least once a week..
my knee has a nice round dent where I did the standing on the tow hitch 20 plus years ago and the indent still there.
I’m still waiting to see your review on the Harbor Freight ICON tools 🛠 🔧🧰🔩
Look up the Reese tow hitch step.
You get a step and you get to keep your ball hitch.
we use the torch. It last about 3 months on trailer fenders.
Any updates on Marks tractor? Haven’t seen anything in a few months (unless I missed it)
Id love to see it too
Check out the ones they put on summit truck bodies, mine works great and would be easy to fabricate yourself,my hitch is about 24 inches off the ground as many hitch heights are too high for a straight step.
Where did you get the step on the side of your service bed?
What’s the name of the side steps would like to get some for my f350 4x4 DRW kind of high hard to get into toolbox without climbing into the bed thanks like your channel
I love that flip up step but I tow a lot and often close to the max limit for my hitch. I don't want to be changing out the hitch/step all the time also don't like the idea of a hitch extension due to towing near limits. I already ordered two of these steps, I'll be welding them to the bumper on either side of the hitch receiver so I can use them with trailer hooked up. Would weld my own step but I'm not talented enough to duplicate the stay up detent this step has. Thanks for the review!
if you want a really good trim restorer get some permanet trim restorer from gtechniq its also often called c4 its expensive but amazingly good and works on all plastics
Like the idea of the step, but someone needs to make one that works with a combo Pintle hitch. Limited room on my service truck to store more stuff.
Who makes those folding side steps?
I do not remember the name of but they do have a hitch step up there also has a ball on it so you won't be sacrificing your ball
wd-40 works good on black trim lasts for quite a long time also
ruclips.net/video/XXOX4z6uwXo/видео.html
Flame only good for a few weeks and that's it. But if you do plastic black dye it lasts for months. Rit Dye for example.
Waft is an awesome word lol
I've added a new word to my vocabulary as well as innocuous. Hello Texas! From just outside NYC
Ah-Oh!Thanks.
I would like to get one of the Alltel scan tools that you have
But i don't have the money and I'm in my last year of school before i graduate and i plan on becoming a mechanic
@@01cummins24v - I was going to comment that you could get one at the store but, I see you clarified yourself. You'll earn enough as a mechanic to buy the tools you need. It may take awhile. Don't get roped in to those overpriced tool truck tools. I started out with mostly Craftsman (when they were made in the US back in the 60's and 70's. The tools I buy now come from a variety of manufacturers but, I think you'll see that no single manufacturer makes all great tools. Stick with ViceGrip's as an example. I have never used a different brand that even came close (except those from a British company that is now closed).
What’s the link for the side step one?
Hi coxie . Cannot get parts anymore for my f250 4x4 7.3 here in Australia . Where can I get parts from USA
Hey how much did it cost you to wrap your truck? I have a 2005 E450 with a big service body I want to get it wrapped
Be nice to have that step designed to have a ball underneath the step.
What happens then is you’re not bothered to flip down the step and just stand on the hitch ball, slide off and hit your shin and back to square one🤣🤣
Nice jeep. Really like the white with black trim....... Did you send the BMW down the road ?
Yes sir. Ill never buy a German car again unless its an old school diesel Mercedes.
@@StephenCoxfixit Scotty Kilmer cured me on BMWs. Now, when I see one I think what a sucker they are! The problems will show up sooner or later with a BMW!
@@StephenCoxfixit Hmmm. Drove a 2002 325i for 250,000. Traded that in for a 2011 328xi, got 180 out of that before the boss bought me a Lincoln MKZ. I much preferred the BMW...
Ouch. I have dents in both of my shins. One of mine is so bad it still hurts to the touch. I'm sure I broke the bone or chipped the bone..
Watch project farms recent video on trim restore products
I work at Home Depot and the lower flat carts are notorious for knocking you on the shins.
I don’t think I’ve ever stood on the ball of my truck! That’s what the bumper is for?
Can we dedicate this video to the "Portland Flamer"??? ;-)
SO anybody want to guess how many days before he cuts his shin open on the step when it is down and walks behind the truck. :-)
Rich Rebuilds calls that color ashy.
Amazed how many folks commented "Ouch, yeah I've done that so-many/hundreds/ive-forgotten-how-many times"
Seriously, didn't learn your lesson after excruciating pain 1sr, 2nd even 3rd time?
Hit your knee spinning a four way changing a tire, you remember every time you use it after
@@juliogonzo2718 yeah once bitten twice shy
You can do the same thing with a heat gun it's only safer that way
Now how the hell you gone tow your boat ,camper, trailer
Get the Reese step that goes on your ball hitch so you can use both. I have one it is a wonderful product.
Harbor freight sells a step extension for half the price that will go between your receiver and the hitch itself.
As handy as a pocket on a shirt.
I have used trim shine on mine for awhile and works well.. It is a spray on and leave. But if there is dust on the engine cover or airbox i usually spray area and wipe with a rag before it dries to remove the dust and kinda rub it in at the same time.. You should give it a try they sell at O Riley's auto parts store and amazon

Sold the bmw?
Knee and trailer make painful mix
How chucky?
One problem and it is a huge one. Where do you stow it when your not ysing it. Seems like just another gadget
Hmm cuz ur back bummer isn't a big enough step
Why not use the step in front of the license plate . . . just sayin.
You lose the hitch though. Lame.
Am I the only one who noticed that his entire rear bumber is a step and he had to raise his foot to the height of the bumper to fold down his step. Just saying that it seems useless on this truck other trucks I can see the use but on this where the bumper is a step it's pointless
