    I don't really care how it all shakes out, but I do think on a "junior team," Lawson should be alongside Yuki. Red Bull does need someone along side Max to pick up the slack for constructors, but between Checo and Riccardo, I don't think either is currently capable of rising to the occasion. Right now, they just need to fill that seat and keep their eyes open.

    • @aoife1122
      @aoife1122 23 дня назад

      Marko came out the other day, calling the RB20 an absolute "b*tch" to drive. Surely Red Bull have their drivers putting in countless hours in the simulator and if they don't replace Perez it's because the others suck even harder.
      Yes, it was reported that Lawson "put in a decent showing" in the RB20 at their filming day in Silverstone recently but stuff like this is easily overhyped. For starters, they were using "academy tyres", in full race trim, on the limit, the car will be a very different beast.

    It's pretty clear Daniel hasn't done enough to be given the second RB seat at this point of the season. Checko certainly hasn't done enough to keep that seat in 2025. I believe RB or more to the point Christian wants to give Daniel the rest the next three or four rounds to make a statement with his results to show he should have that second suit. Liam really should be in the VCarb car in 2025. Yuki doesn't have a future at RBR 2025 will be his last year at that team and maybe in F1. A prediction it will be Vcarb Yuki and Liam, Red Bull Max and Daniel

    I still think if you stuck DR in the Red Bull that he would do really good and get along with Max. The closest thing they had to a problem the first time around was probably Daniel not happy that he was no longer the number one driver on the team and now it’s different Daniel is a lot older and because Max is a 3 time Champion and racked up a lot more wins it wouldn’t hurt nearly as bad. Yuki would and has made it clear in interviews he would be a possible disruptive influence. I don’t think anyone with all that built up rage and lack of control over his emotions stands a chance in the pressure cooker of racing beside Max. Daniel obviously isn’t the best at making a slow car work but they got too excited after that Silverstone test for him not to have been really impressive in that extremely fast Red Bull. He also keeps these extremely expensive cars in one piece most of the time and idk maybe more often than anyone in a midfield or lower team. Lawson had an almost identical opportunity to test his speed at the same track in the full Bull and it didn’t get the team and especially Horner excited at all as far as I’ve seen from my laps around the f-1 news and gossip internet community. Then what about the man in the hot seat now Perez? Well I must admit I don’t like him. That guy frowns more than Daniel shows all his teeth smiling and honestly I can get pretty sick of smiley Daniel. I’ve not seen the tire-saving guru show itself that often over the last few seasons at RB and if he’s not gonna suddenly be fast and consistent with the car setup that it’s built for (and yes it’s built to go fast setup like Max likes his car setup) then they will lose the Constructors Championship this season. The only thing that might change that from happening is if the other teams fall apart the remainder of the season. It will be interesting and very close. I think they messed up not swapping for someone.

    It is well past time to cut Perez loose, he was never that good and the only reason he is there is the cash. Put Ric in for the rest of the season to see what he can do...I think he would do well as he likes a similar car characteristic to Crashtappen. If he does not pan out, then sack him and put in their next person in line be it Yuki or Liam once he has had a bit of seasoning at VCARB.

Rather than rookies who are a huge risk while learning and bring nothing to the team. Unless they have rich parents (lance stroll) and their rich parents pay the tab.
