Oh, yeah. One more thing. Go fishing until you fish up a decent magic bow. You can usually get infinity and power on it without an enchanting table. You'll have plenty of extra food (also fish to tame the cats) and it should only take a day or two of fishing. You don't have to do it on-camera, but if you want to edit in finding the bow, that would be cool too.😊

There are actually multiple nether biomes if you want to explore! You can find warped forests and get blue wood to decorate with or locate pigskin village-things in the grey ashen places where there’s a lot of loot to be gathered Also congrats on an episode 6!
Copper is *mostly* a building material (with several variant blocks, plus slabs, stairs, doors, and trapdoors, all in four different colors depending on how oxidized you let it get before you wax it), but it is also required to craft certain things (lightning rod, spyglass, archeology brush). None of this is really essential to survival gameplay, however. Technically, the day/night cycle happens at the same rate regardless of which dimension you are in; but the overworld is the only dimension where you can readily observe it, unless you start transporting villagers to places where they do not occur naturally. Rabbits are particularly prone to dying because their AI does not bother to calculate fall damage and check for safety before jumping. Keeping them alive is thus difficult to do unless you trap them in a relatively flat place. Curse of Binding is mostly useful for multi-player pranks; it makes it impossible to take the thing off (except by dying) once you put it on. Particularly problematic in hardcore mode (unless you're Owen and play the entire game in leather armor for "roleplay" reasons when everyone else is wearing netherite; I am sure flexing his skill had nothing to do with his motivation for that stunt).
Thanks for another great episode. For someone, who not visiting Nether often, you handle ghast situation really well. That ghast was so scared , that decided despawn , instead of fighting till the end.
Funny you should mention the Nether, while I caught up on the last 3 episodes, I was mining the nether for my Realm's Ice highway. Fun times in the Nether! Wooo!
Agree with putting the portal a little farther away. You can also make it without mining obsidian (without a diamond pick) by using lava buckets and water to shape the portal. Jonadab answered most of the questions you had, so I won't repeat them. When you were running away from the hoglin in the nether forest, you ran past some warped mushrooms (blue). That's probably why he turned away. You should pick several of them, and put them on each side of your portal until you get it secured. Also carry them with you to avert attacks. The treasure chests are spawned into the world at creation. I think it is the map that generates to the closest undiscovered chest. There is usually better loot in the ships themselves. Also really good are the desert temples, and they are usually really easy to spot from a distance. Be careful when exploring them. They have suspicious sand that you can brush, but only the warm ocean ruins have the sniffer eggs.💚💚💚

@@isis_lisette Sniffers are just funny/cute. Huge creature, but they find buried items in their pen. You can breed them if you find and hatch two eggs. It's mainly another pet, but a rare one. Also, yes. I think you can pull off anything you set your mind to. It's just pouring lava into a mold and splashing water on it to make obsidian in the shape of the door. I think you'd love a camel also, but they have to be kept leashed or in a tall (two-story) pen. They can walk over single fences, and will wander.
You generally find saddles in mineshaft carts. Horse armor is abundant in Desert Temples. You just need to find a desert. Camels are in desert towns. You need to bring a leash if you don't have a saddle. Steal one from a merchant. Edit: wait, that was wrong. It's nametags you find in the mineshafts. Saddles are in Nether Fortresses, but you can also get them from the pillager raids. I think you need a village to activate the omen potion. Build a tower platform, and fill in underneath with water to slow down the raiders. That way you can shoot them more easily. Use a lead to pull a couple of golems up into the tower with you to fight the vexes. That way you can easily focus on and kill the sorcerers. Give yourself good places to shoot from, including a murder hole in the middle for when they crowd underneath the platform. You can usually get several saddles from a raid, along with at least one, maybe several undying totems, depending on the level of the raid. Try to do a small one first and work your way up.
Unless you like dying all the time, eat until you are full so your health can regenerate. Why wander around on 3 hearts? Also if you get a saddle ( fishing works but takes time unless it’s enchanted ) you can ride the things that live in the larva lakes, then you can explore easily to find the castle and blazes , which you must kill to get to the end dragon

@@isis_lisette a Strider is a 2 legged animal that lives in the nether lakes. You’ll love them! They are attracted to the warped fungus (purple & red I think ) that grow in only 2 biomes. The piglin forest where you entered the nether has them. Just so you know once you put a saddle on them you can’t get it off unless you kill them..which I sometimes feel bad about if I’ve been on it for a long time, but saddles are hard to find at first
You should collect more Nether quartz for building, it makes for some really nice looking builds, I've made a replica Parthenon temple with a lot of it :)

I think the water bottle was put into the bartering table, on the theory that some crazy person might want to try to play survival *entirely* in the nether, and you'd need water bottles for potions. Compared to some of the other schenanighans Minecraft players get up to, this would be a fairly tame challenge. Also, water can exist in the nether, if it's in a bucket or cauldron, in addition to the bottles, or if it's frozen.
I have never had luck trading with baby piglins. They always keep the gold ingots that I throw to them. The adult ones have always given me something in return.

Like the others have said, PLEASE EAT!! When you get more advanced in the game and start using villagers, trade up a farmer villager to Master level. Then you can buy golden carrots fairly cheaply. They are the best food source in the game (steak is a close second, but you have to kill cows for those).

You can make copper into roofs and all of you let it sit it turns green like copper does in real life but if you add bees wax it keeps it how ever you want forever 🥰❤, you can combine 2 copper ingots with a amathist and make spy glasses you can look into them and see things far off and even zoom in, you can make lights from them, To make a copper bulb, place 3 copper blocks, 1 blaze rod, and 1 redstone dust in the 3x3 crafting grid. You can get tr blaze rods from the nearher or from a villager ive seen, but i would perfer the neather, you can also make doors from it and even floors and much more. 🥰❤️also curse of binding means it wont come off unless the character dies in game. You could also make secret rooms in your house using the trap doors or even hidden doors behind paintings and the secret rooms with chests and all.

Oh those treasure chests spawn it at the start of a world and skilled players (not me!) can find them without maps. The modern breed of Speed runners almost always spawn into worlds on beaches and immediately loot a treasure chest to start off their runs. It hurts my brain to watch because they operate so damn fast, the likes of Rekrap, Zylenox, Drip and many others.
I don't really watch Minecraft speedruns, but there are two plausible ways to do that. They could either be using a seed that they've checked ahead of time, so they know where everything is, which is allowed in some categories of speed runs; or else they could be counting blocks to the one position within each 16x16 chunk that can potentially have a treasure chest, digging down far enough to know if it's there or not, move on to the next chunk, rinse, repeat. The first approach is faster, but requires knowledge of the seed. The latter approach would take longer but requires no seed-specific knowledge.
@@jonadabtheunsightly I think it's the latter option defo, and they can use chunk borders and the block coordinates in the F3 menu to sniff out chests almost immediately, and if the chunk doesn't have a chest they try another one or just restart on the different seed. The runs I've watched have all been random seeds, so no prior knowledge, but the runners have a tool that lets them get a preview of the spawn area or a dozen different worlds at once, so they can select one that looks most promising (ie a beach) and play on it.
@@zxbzxbzxb1 Yeah, if they're doing it in random seeds, they're presumably using the coordinates within each chunk. The game picks a random chunk to put the treasure in, but then it always goes to the same offset within the chunk. (Well, the numbers are different from Java to Bedrock, but the player presumably knows which edition he has.)
COPPER Isis... I don't use it alot because the blocks made from ingots change color over time when you place them. You can make a funky block from the raw copper. You can make a telescope from amethyst and copper.
You are constantly in more danger than necessary... You let your hunger bar get way low, which drops your health bar - which makes you weaker and unable to take more damage. I'm not being critical, it's just IMO; keeping your hunger and hearts bar always full is fundamental to survival... I'm always watching your health bars and biting my nails, start sweating, muttering to myself: "Why wont she eat? please you're one arrow away from d..." and then she takes off armor - and I almost pass out! Oh, and don't put on the cursed armor. Get rid of it. Don't have it in your inventory because, you can real easily, accidentally put it on and be stuck with it.
I swear on my life, I don’t even notice. I am so into the game that I don’t know how hungry I am until I can’t run anymore. I need to get better! Any tips on remembering? Also, what does the cursed armor even do? I won't wear it I promise! I will even light it on fire, arson!
@@isis_lisette The Curse of Binding armor - is stuck on you if you equip it. - wont come off until you die. Curse of Vanishing armor will disappear when you die. Tips on remembering to eat:.. make a song like: "keep on eye on your hearts so you don't die 'cause it hurts" or something. lol
I'm only 1:36 in and I had to stop. You're going into the nether with an iron sword with virtually no durability left. Hmmmmmm.....this may not go well. OK, back to the video.

There are several ways to obtain saddles. They have a chance to be in various loot chests all over and you can fish them up using a fishing rod.
One water block can moisturize 5x5 area if it is put in the center. This can allow you to place your crop more efficiently

You can make copper into roofs and all of you let it sit it turns green like copper does in real life but if you add bees wax it keeps it how ever you want forever 🥰❤, you can combine 2 copper ingots with a amathist and make spy glasses you can look into them and see things far off and even zoom in, you can make lights from them, To make a copper bulb, place 3 copper blocks, 1 blaze rod, and 1 redstone dust in the 3x3 crafting grid. You can get tr blaze rods from the nearher or from a villager ive seen, but i would perfer the neather, you can also make doors from it and even floors and much more. 🥰❤️also curse of binding means it wont come off unless the character dies in game. You could also make secret rooms in your house using the trap doors or even hidden doors behind paintings and the secret rooms with chests and all.

Oh those treasure chests spawn it at the start of a world and skilled players (not me!) can find them without maps. The modern breed of Speed runners almost always spawn into worlds on beaches and immediately loot a treasure chest to start off their runs. It hurts my brain to watch because they operate so damn fast, the likes of Rekrap, Zylenox, Drip and many others.
That is WILD. I wonder how many are just there without even thinking knowing, I feel so lucky to have found one!
I don't really watch Minecraft speedruns, but there are two plausible ways to do that. They could either be using a seed that they've checked ahead of time, so they know where everything is, which is allowed in some categories of speed runs; or else they could be counting blocks to the one position within each 16x16 chunk that can potentially have a treasure chest, digging down far enough to know if it's there or not, move on to the next chunk, rinse, repeat. The first approach is faster, but requires knowledge of the seed. The latter approach would take longer but requires no seed-specific knowledge.
@@jonadabtheunsightly I think it's the latter option defo, and they can use chunk borders and the block coordinates in the F3 menu to sniff out chests almost immediately, and if the chunk doesn't have a chest they try another one or just restart on the different seed. The runs I've watched have all been random seeds, so no prior knowledge, but the runners have a tool that lets them get a preview of the spawn area or a dozen different worlds at once, so they can select one that looks most promising (ie a beach) and play on it.
@@zxbzxbzxb1 Yeah, if they're doing it in random seeds, they're presumably using the coordinates within each chunk. The game picks a random chunk to put the treasure in, but then it always goes to the same offset within the chunk. (Well, the numbers are different from Java to Bedrock, but the player presumably knows which edition he has.)
COPPER Isis... I don't use it alot because the blocks made from ingots change color over time when you place them. You can make a funky block from the raw copper. You can make a telescope from amethyst and copper.

You let your hunger bar get way low, which drops your health bar - which makes you weaker and unable to take more damage.
I'm not being critical, it's just IMO; keeping your hunger and hearts bar always full is fundamental to survival...
I'm always watching your health bars and biting my nails, start sweating, muttering to myself: "Why wont she eat? please you're one arrow away from d..." and then she takes off armor - and I almost pass out!
Oh, and don't put on the cursed armor. Get rid of it. Don't have it in your inventory because, you can real easily, accidentally put it on and be stuck with it.
I swear on my life, I don’t even notice. I am so into the game that I don’t know how hungry I am until I can’t run anymore. I need to get better! Any tips on remembering? Also, what does the cursed armor even do? I won't wear it I promise! I will even light it on fire, arson!
@@isis_lisette The Curse of Binding armor - is stuck on you if you equip it. - wont come off until you die.
Curse of Vanishing armor will disappear when you die.
Tips on remembering to eat:.. make a song like: "keep on eye on your hearts so you don't die 'cause it hurts" or something. lol
