For the korean soldiers to fanboy over gfriend was a cultural difference to the USA marines because a bunch of adult men fanboying over teenage girls dancing/singing in crop top/skirts . The USA marines probably do not know the Korean music industry is dominated by idol groups. Unlike the USA music industry is mainly solo artists.
