@@corolife6859 As a teenager in the mid 70's I had my grandfather's 1970 Buick Electra to drive. It had lap belts and separate shoulder belts and I sporadically wore the lap belt. One night, mainly out of curiosity, I took the shoulder belt down off the headliner and buckled it up along with the lap belt. After driving around, I was surprised at how much better the car drove and handled with the belts securely holding me in place. An enhanced driving experience and the obvious safety aspect of wearing the belts was kind of a no brainer and I was soon dutifully buckling up every time I drove. With my friends in the car, I was usually the only one buckled up as they thought it wasn't cool to do so. A couple of years later, I was coming home from college one weekend when a drunk driver crossed the center line and hit me head on. Because of the size and quality of the Electra along with the fact that I was buckled up, I walked away with minor cuts, scrapes and bruises from the belts. The car was totaled but I was basically fine. The unbelted drunk driver had massive head and chest injuries from the steering wheel and his passenger went through the windshield and had massive head trauma. It's amazing what a difference that a couple of nylon straps and the five seconds it took to buckle them together made. So once again, I say that you are a smart man to add the three- point belts to your car. Buckle up and confidently enjoy driving the Camaro.
