Yes, I think Handel's Sarabande, the 2nd movement of Beethoven's 7th and Brahms sextet no. 1 Andante are all music of this sort. Music to fill your heart with exultation. Music to die to, peacefully.

From the stars we came. To the stars we want. Nothing bad about Earth, our mother, but to the upper world we want. The world is our home, not our home. Matter is our world, matter will be. No prophet, ruler, or idealist can change that. Sand is sand, stone is stone. We are made of earth from earth, we become. Life long or short. Painful or happy, we are still just a party for worms and moths. A brief moment of light in an endless existence of darkness, yes it is life the earthly. But we do not want to live a meaningless life in a life without meaning. Our spirit, our hug does not thrive here, no we want away. To the stars and beyond them we want. We do not want to tread Hel's path, no we want to cross Bifrost. We want to the Father of the Great Goddess. Earth may forgive but here we should not dwell. Our mother still gets our bones and ashes. You gods, you aces in the world above, help us find home. Home to the stars!

Interesting!
I immediately thought of Beethoven upon hearing this ; your comment confirms my association. A wonderful piece indeed 👍
Yes, I think Handel's Sarabande, the 2nd movement of Beethoven's 7th and Brahms sextet no. 1 Andante are all music of this sort. Music to fill your heart with exultation. Music to die to, peacefully.
@@skylarkstarsmith Amen to that. At my memorial service it will be songs. No sermons to usher my soul to God. I will be there already. Just songs. When they hear Beethoven's Seventh in A Major they will be happy for me. Or perhaps they will be glad to see me go. Ha Ha. This is real music, the soul lives on this music.
@@JJDigitalartStudio I agree - except that as a secular humanist I do not think so much about God. :) I have not yet decided what music will be played if I am lucky enought to have a slow and peaceful death. But it will be one of these three - and very likely R. Strauss's Vier Letzte Lieder, with 'Im Abendrot' last.
absolutely wonderful piece
Haendel ,Çok güçlü,çok etkileyici,çok çok güzel...
For there the beauty of the human expression deployed throuh melody. When words are not enough. or insufficient and explanation lack fluidity.Music take u on a path where boundaries of comprehension are crushed and only remain the joy of appreciation.
Hail to thee O Lord God
When ı listen to this ı feel ı live at old time
He really went off the Haendel on this piece
From the stars we came.
To the stars we want.
Nothing bad about Earth, our mother, but to the upper world we want.
The world is our home, not our home.
Matter is our world, matter will be.
No prophet, ruler, or idealist can change that.
Sand is sand, stone is stone.
We are made of earth from earth, we become.
Life long or short.
Painful or happy,
we are still just a party for worms and moths.
A brief moment of light in an endless existence of darkness,
yes it is life the earthly.
You gods, you aces in the world above,
help us find home.
Home to the stars!
Where is this came from? So beautiful

Epoustouflant.
Moi aussi. Vraiment tres belle et magnifique
Sarabande wzrusza... zachwyca... urzeka do szaleństwa...
