Welcome to the first episode of Skyrim Life as a Ranger. This is the Skyrim Ranger roleplay series where we make a Skyrim Ranger build. Our job is to protect the lands of Skyrim travelling and living in the wilderness in this Skyrim Ranger playthrough. We also have access to the Skyrim Ranger guild for all our Skyrim stealth archer needs.

if you are running low on ideas for playthroughs you can do here's some life as a assasin, life as a pactmaker, life as a collecter, life as a beast master, and life as a dragon priest
edit: you should also consider revamping some series like life as a necromancer, life as a werewolf, and life as a vampire.

Has he done a life as a hermit? Living out in the wilderness somewhere, making his own living and completely avoiding civilization.
Or the ultimate challenge life as a librarian collecting every book in the game.

Life as a collector sounds like a great series!
Another quality series starting! One thing I always wished was an option or at least a mod, was the ability to enchant weapons for people as a job. The guards sometime comment if you have high enchanting and the College staff mention that enchanting is a service they offer Skyrim

My big introduction to Skyrim was a RUclips channel by a storyteller who went by the name of "Couch Warrior". He created many unique and fascinating characters and told their stories in playthroughs much as you are doing here. He was also an exceptional voice actor and gave each of his characters a unique personality.
To this day, I cannot think of Skyrim as a game where you just go around killing enemies.
Thanks to Couch Warrior, Skyrim will always be a place where very unique characters live out their lives and have many adventures! I have attempted to follow this approach when I play, and have had a lot of fun with a variety of characters including shamans, bounty hunters, treasure seekers, and bards. My goal is to do my best to stay true to the personality and motives of each character and to approach each encounter as that character would.
Please post this comment on CouchWarrior's channel, so he might see it. He has never gotten the attention he truly deserves. Bethesda made a legendary game, CouchWarrior made it EPIC!!!
I would love to see more of this playthrough. I would also love to see as series about the life of a vampire hunter.
Also i feel like you should be able to use a sword instead of a dagger, since the rangers from LOTR do wield swords

I love this! I also have a Ranger character who patrols Falkreath, I bring metal weapons and armor to Lod so he can smelt it down for the town, I bring potions and rare ingredients to Zaria the alchemist so she can make potions and medicine for the town, I bring all hunted meat to the innkeeper so as to keep the town fed, I bring all raw vegetables I find to the farmer Matheus so he can sell them and supply the town with food, and lastly I bring Zoloft any rare valuables like gems and jewelry scrolls, and enchanted items to him so he can sell them. And all these efforts help to keep Falkreath hold safe and well supplied so its economy can thrive.
I also regularly patrol the roads around Falkreath and the borders from the reach to the rift and the Jerral Mountains bordering Cyridiil to the soth.

This is great! You've done vids on so many professions, it seems like combat classes is the next logical option. An illusionist wizard could be fun, as would cleric/warlock to a particular Aedra/Daedra.

I just found your Chanel recently and have been loving it. I think a story of a beggar that claws his way out of a beggers life to become high king would be a amazing experience.

A mod I highly recommend is the Headhunter mod, which allows you to actually subdue and capture bounty targets rather than forcing you to kill them. The thief and vampire bounties always force you to attack and kill non-aggressive NPCs rather than just demanding their surrender first. Imagine what that looks like to the regular townsfolk.

Doing long episodes with character would be awesome, just as u said in the video rangers taking over the fortress after and recruiting rangers after more places taken along with having bigger battles since your taking the land back like your bandit king play through.
I’d love to see more of this, but would also like to see what you could do for a life as a necromancer/litch as well with the anniversary edition and all the newer mods

Skyrim Life as a Serial Killer....it would be neat! Weilding a dagger, low profile, many options. Your calling card could be a sweet roll placed on the victim😂

Definitely keep this one going! I feel like you could "extend" life as a hunter/the wildman series into this one too. Kinda like how you started as life as a beggar and kept that one for few series

yay a new series ^^ just as I startet a new playthrough of skyrim ^^
I try to spin a story where my character can nearly do every Guild there is and have it make sense ^^
at the moment he just joined the Thiefs guild and will soon be in Windhelm to hear about the Aretino Boy and the Dark Brotherhood
after he already was a member of the Black Hand and the thiefs guild in Cyrodyll where he comes from, it is easy for him to join those here in Skyrim. He is definitely going to help the Dark Brotherhood back to his Feet, preferably with Cicero and without Astrid XD

I'm currently playing as an argonian who would have been perfectly happy becoming a role citizen upon entering Skyrim. First he was arrested upon crossing the border and treated as a criminal. Then, even though there was no proof he had done anything wrong, he was going to be beheaded anyway. Only one person raised any objection but even he stood by and did nothing, was going to let an innocent die simply because he was told to. Now he's determined to kill everyone in sight but he has to be smart about it as he gains the skills and abilities needed to do so.
It's difficult to gauge a new character story from 1 episode for me it takes quite a few but by then I'm hooked 😂

The great thing about Ranger builds is its not about the bow. People get that confused for some reason, Rangers are wanderers. So as a Ranger you would travel alot, probably camp out alot and use inns too. Jack of all trades so you dont master anything but you dabble in everything.

I will say, it would be preferable (in my opinion) if you would start a series and stick to regular uploads of that series instead of starting one like this and then the next video being an old series you haven’t done anything on in a while.
