I watched Black Clover after I watched the cypher and I'm on ep 30 (been busy cuz of online school thats why I'm only on ep 30 on netflix) and I understand some of the character's bars can't wait for the origin reveal of the others :DD
I was the same as you, I had started Black Clover up to the magic knight entrance test and got bored and quit the show. I saw this and was like "Eh, not into Black Clover but these cyphers are great so might as well" Fell in love with this cypher and am no currently watching the rest of the show XD
The current arc after the elves is the best arc in my opinion (currently its only manga and they are doing a lot of filler which is sad but understandable)
