When a song makes you feel such strong emotions, you know it’s powerful. But when a band continuously makes songs that have that same amount of power in each song... I love these guys so much. I can’t praise them enough.

honestly, I feel the same way, but I'll never not revel in the fact that I always get to see my favorite band in a small intimate setting (and even meet them on occasion) because of how "relatively small" they are
tbh, i only know of them because they opened for bad suns on part of their tour. nonetheless, they were amazing, and it was an experience i will never forget. & i would love for them to have success, but it's great to be a fan of music that is relatively small because you get to experience something you wouldn't if they'd been bigger.

One of the most beautifully made videos I've ever seen. This and Night Channels by Foxing are tied for my favorite music videos. Not only is this song and video both beautifully done, but as a queer girl I really appreciate this type of non-sexual representation for girl x girl relationships in the media. (From what I interpret, these two girls were in a relationship). Once again, amazing video, amazing song, amazing vibe. Xx

Zack Serface I have noticed how difference each album was. granted The Man With Wooden Legs and Able Bodies aren't THAT different but from them on each album seem to have a theme. I think the way they follow themes is by changing their sound completely based on an album
FIL's music to me is like a pure relationship where you love your partner and their growth. I totally understand how you feel though, not everyone is gonna like the direction an artist takes their sound and work. I guess I just got lucky
