@AEV0R can you move across the screen from L - R in less than 2 secs? Lols. Maybe the fastest you can go is 1 sec. You clearly don't have any clue to how Hz and players ability to cross the screen with their cursor is relevant. You are clearly not at all educated in how 120hz only benefits if you can move at that speed and others are also moving at that speed. @True Gamer and they will charge extra for it. Man fuck sony now if they dont be a bit more consumer friendly the tides will shit to the greener side (pun intended)
Fromsoftware will need to remaster Bloodborne. Bloodborne is an exclusive built for PS4 specifically so it has a 30fps capped frame rate and it was coded around that cap. Arbitrarily uncapping the frame rate at a system level like Microsoft and Sony are doing just breaks the game due to frame pacing issues. This is a terrible analogy but imagine playing a 24-30 frame per second movie back at 60 frames per second. The movie will run at 2x the speed and it would be impossible to enjoy. That’s the way specific aspects of Bloodborne would respond to being uncapped. The modder Lance McDonald made a version of Bloodborne that runs at 60fps. He had to use code from Dark Souls 3 to get the frame rate then spend what felt like forever fixing everything that broke before compiling the modified game in to its 60fps version. Microsoft and Sony can’t do that. It’s not their code to modify. These mods also require a recompile of the game effectively making a new version, a “PS4” version that can’t run on a “PS4”. Keep in mind if you need to fix frame pacing issue to work at 60fps that version no longer works properly at 30fps capped. If it was as easy as just flipping a switch all Xbox One and PS4 games would be running at 60 FPS on Series X and PS5.
@@kbz9456 yup. The Xbox 360 and PS3 could only run the game at 30fps and the original machines even dipped from that quite often. The Xbox One and Series consoles, by extension, are capped at 30fps yet never drop in performance.

@@robovader7625 It's 30fps in Campaign and 60fps for Multiplayer on Xbox One.
Now we just need a minimum of 1080p support on bf4 and an fov slider and it would be perfect
They won’t go back and add items to an old game
They wouldn't with bf6 around the corner and most likely being a modern game.
@@Luke357 I agree. But a man can dream🥲 however I could see the bf4 upgrade happening sometime after bf6 releases. Or at least a small chance of that happening 🤷🏼♂️
Hoping for a Battlefront 2 lookover soon as well 🙏🤞
I tried it last night. Noticed the resolution takes a hit and looks quite a bit grainier. I disabled it.
The epic intro gave me goosebumps!
Nice, I've just finished titanfall 2 solo campaign for the 3rd time in 120 fps on my RTX3090 that was a whole new experience, seeing it arriving in that 120 fps on Xbox Series X is great news. Too bad they could not scale it to 1440p at least, but the buttery smooth fps really flesh out the beauty of the game even my on LG CX.
That must have been incredible, the campaign is one the finest in video game history. I played it at 4k 60 on the series X for the first time a few months ago and I was shocked I missed it last gen. I tried the 900p 120hz yesterday. It's so much better than 60hz but the resolution is a bit too low for me.
I'm starting to think that maybe1080p 120hz would be better than 4k 60 though.
I hope the trend to offer 120hz modes continues this generation.
Similar to fps boost, is there anyway that Microsoft can do resolution boost using FidelityFx or their own AI upscaling solution? I think it's possible... so we can get atleast 1440p at 120fps and 4k 60 for games without OneX enhancement. Series S would become even more valuable
Yes. Its coming. Ms have spoken a lot about their super resolution techniques. Can turn 540p to 1080p.... 1080p to 4k tonthe poijt that you cannot tell the difference between that and 4k native. The series s will massively benefit from the tech.
@@NickthaGeek they said anything about that...
@@funbrute31 yes they have
@@funbrute31 yes like he and you said they said "anything" about it lol learn english
@@NickthaGeek exactly, the reason some games don’t run 120fps on series s also is because they don’t have good optimization. Games like warzone are getting optimized version soon so they will run 120fps even better then it does now.
Xbox FPS Boost is a genius!
😏
Waiting for the glorious day microsoft will announce red dead redemption in this list😭
I'm waiting for them to actually show some next gen games. It's so strange they aren't showing anything at all...
Damn RDR in 60 fps hasn't been done before. It would be literally game changing.

@@AZITHEMLGPRO is that some Microsoft first party game I haven't heard of?
I also want Assassin's Creed Unity.
I tried fps boost on battlefront 1 and let me tell you, the speedbike sequence in the forest was so lit at 120fps I got an achievement for not taking any damage on the 1st go round, I used to smack at least 3 trees every time I played on last gen hardware lol.
Now you know what us PC gamers have been experiencing for years lol. You'll want more games at 120fps now
Yeah It's like we've been driving with a loose steering wheel that's finally been fixed
I've had titanfall 2 for a long ass time.... Guess I'm about to finally play it in 120 fps glory
Unravel 2 is great at 120fps!
BF1 at 120FPS would be amazing.
Please do this for PlayStation.
Ps5 hardware can't handle this. Sell it and buy a Series X.
@@redhunter1535- Lol PS5 runs COD Cold War at 120Hz I have no clue why it couldn’t run BF1 at 120Hz.
Plus lack of quality exclusives on XBOX are a dealbreaker for me. Some of my favorite games of all time are PS exclusives. Xbox would have to come out with some killer app for me to want to switch ecosystems at this point.
Microsoft did this not ea/dice.
Xbox is taking consoles to new levels🔥
Glorified Raspberry Pi.

Thank you for testing Mirror's edge Catalyst!!!!!!!!!!!!
Regularly giving older games improvements like this is such a good look on Xbox's part. They're absolutely crushing this gen so far.
