This is another one of these stories. If you don't want it to be found and you're that powerful and can know where things are to be found or when people go there... why not destroy it or bury it better? What's the point of having these traps? I don't understand it, why not do security better? It's wouldn't be that hard.
Because, there's always a bureaucrat complaining about cost effectiveness and profit margins. Even in a made-up galaxy someones got to be a party pooper.
The mind of an immortal being is difficult to comprehend in the first place- but this is one of those cases where the answer is simple. She's sentimental. In that building lies one of the only recordings left in all existence that shows what humans once looked like, once sounded like- and a record of the only information about what happened. When you're immortal, you place great value upon reminders, nostalgia- and sentimentality.
To be frank, it's not really a fallacy. Population growth in nature IS exponential- IF left unchecked by other factors. IE- DEATH. In nature, disease and starvation keep populations under control- but humans in this universe long since solved all of those problems. Noone starves. Disease is eradicated- and worse still, everyone is IMMORTAL. No age, no cancer. Every birth is permanent unless people get murdered or they run out of the power they need to keep the technology preserving them functional. People don't like death, so they endeavour to solve those problems too- which means there is now NOTHING left to check or curb growth. Sure, you can try social law enforcement to restrict births- but since everyone is permanent, every single time some malefactor or rebel decides to flip the bird to the law, or every time an accident happens? More people. Not to mention the sheer public backlash that comes from that sort of thing- despite being the only way to prevent a malthusian explosion in such circumstances, it is ALWAYS depicted as a dystopian evil in every work of fiction ever written. Worse still is entropy- even if not for population growth, they explicitly state that a black hole "ran out". Which we of course already know, everything withers and dies eventually and humanity's growth here caused that to happen *faster* than it "should". Making a black hole flicker out of existence trillions of years before it "should" have. Now, is their solution the right one? Maybe? Maybe not? It certainly feels wrong, but you can't really deny the results. With a wide range of diverse cultures- conflict arises, and that conflict causes the death that is necessary to curb the growth of a technologically advanced civilization which has otherwise transcended the natural limits of nature.
Thanks! HFY Team!!!
keep up the great work!
Thanks! Will do!
🤣🤣🤣 ""SHUT UP DAVE!"
Agreed I hate Dave! 🤣🤣🤣
mfw you run out of resources in a literal infinite universe 💀

The import bit is it's a very human problem that happens
@@TimelineTheSchizoidbruh they out here controlling black holes, but run out of mats?
Could be an infinite universe with a finite amount of resources
The Commander and Dave lack a sense of exploration and wonder. Seriously how can you not like Kleebax?
In the military we called them Carl, and other epithets.
There is always a DAVE....
This dudes voice is on par with epic voice guy, maybe a colab.... Maybe
30:03 that’s what she said 💀
Ah yes, traditional alien names, Kleebax, Flugel, and Dave.
Someone MUST be first. It explains the Fermi paradox.
Love your voice!!
Shut up Dave! Dave's not here!

Wait, so your argument for the galactic crisis is a malthusian fallacy? Your bias is showing...

🤣🤣🤣 we are God's again. Where Gods, well we already found the solution to over population. It's feminism. 😆
