@@LeMasterYi being a top civ does not mean it should get more attention, in fact aztecs are pretty much figured out while other more obscure civs could use a vid like this to help bring some understanding to them. And for the meso thing, he already has a vid on Mayans and Incas, that's 2 out of 3 meso civs.
How about Bulgarians? One of the new civs and a pretty unorthodox at that, lacking xbows and everything! I'm sure a lot of people would love to see what can be done with them!

I got recked by that strat today. Free supplies. 25 swordsmen surprise. Quickwalls demolished immidiately, just like tcs
If opponent picks Slavs on arena, just palisade behind the stone walls right when u hit castle. The siege tower will not work on that. I think you don’t even have to finish the palisades. Or you can prepare a trap.
fully stoned wall base seemed like a good opportunity for a siege tower

Nice vid. It is a good lecture to learn that almost every civ is flexible enough to adapt to the strat of the opponent. You don't need to go knights with slavs.
That first game start was brutal. But I really appreciate that you keep them in and show how you deal with horrible situations. There is a lot to learn from messy games than always just a picture perfect steamroll.
Can you please place the Wonder instead of Castle in the thumbnails of this series? I think that will look better and more relevant.
Actually yeah I can, I just didn't want it to look too similar to spirit of the law's civ overview videos
@@HeraAgeofEmpires2 I think a castle with the civ's best/desired units in front of it is a very good thumbnail. Maybe even add in the corner the one (or 2) bonus that make the civ what it is.

I thinks these thumbnails are perfect. It's different from SotL and it's still very clear which civ he will talk about, since there is always unique units next to the castle.
Even though I like a lot of his thumbnails, it was cool that he took some user input and applied it to what I see now :)

What about HUNS for your next video? I believe they are a strong civ for the current meta and it will be very helpfull you could show the proper way to play them.

I’m fairly new to this channel and something that satisfies me in AoE 2 is when you tubers play a ranked or hard hotted game but play the game how your meant to. Make a good looking city and have organised things and not use buildings for spam walls

Slavs have nothing in imp to fight mongols. Their best bet was to go full castle all in.

From a 0 elo player, why didn't you tech into skirms when he started bringing in the spears you knew that he'd use tons of mangudai and even slav skirms still outrange mangudai
