Confirmed! Hera is The Best AOE2 player in the world right now. Wealready new but, no questions left to answer anymore. Great Game from Both players. I was sure Hera lost when those siege rush crush the arrow units but he come back against that push. Exciting it was. I wish there was a system to watch these games like tournament games with a comentator like T90 and see both player at the same time. I understand this type of casting but still, that would be even more appealing.
Honestly it's a win win, if Hera wins he proves himself the better player, if Armenians win he is right that Dravidians are bad 😂
Dravidians are so strong. Cheapest scout upgrades from all civs.
viper had some crazy siege pressure, but hera handled the pressure well. I would just lose all my xbows, in that scenario
Is Dravidian still a weak civ in castle age with stronger and cheaper scorpions? SCorpion+pikeman+skirm cheap and good for defense?

Unpopular opinion: Ballistic scorps not that good. Too big investment for early push and dies to mangonel. Too immobile to do well in ara late game scenarios.
I feel like being 'that guy' in the party but oh well, not impressed about ballistic scorps in real game scenarios.
Depends on the matchups and maps. In team games they can certainly be insane. Xbow/arb/skirm need to do on point split micro if they wanna run away or risk getting sniped in their heels. Eagles that previously could surround scorps very well can now get absolutely creamed by a single volley, since its hard to know which unit the opponent fires at, rear or front.
They even do well against cav if it’s a decent choke point and for the remainder you can have a few pike/halb/camel to defend. Heavy scorps were also HP buffed so they survive a BBC shot. It takes time before you get enough BBC out.
If you have mongol/celts/roman/ethiopian with khmer ally this is potentially gonna get nasty if you reach that stage.
I think they most likely are going to nerf this. Or at least buff mangonels with some really needed projectile speed, it’s a bit easy to dodge. Back in the days we had 200+ ping which basically is same as human reaction speed, it really makes sense to make the shots land a bit faster than before.
@@alltmisc Ah, it would be great if ara teamgames was something else than xbow flank, cav pocket. The most boring game mode for me personally.
