- So excited to be back home and cooking with my daughter.
I feel so blessed to be able to pass down traditional recipes from my mother to her
I started cooking at 7years old , I remember Sundays where my times to cook my fathers favorite Waakye - the village way❤️

People have said it already but I have to say it again. This was really so beautiful to watch. It brings the village to me, someone living outside of Africa, making it real and relatable. It's no longer just something I hear about in history or just see on TV. It's now "normal"... whatever that means. It exudes nature, home and peacefulness. I love it.
My, my, my. This was a very special moment; mother and daughter bonding. The meal looked so healthy, so delicious. The kitchen was natural, very clean, and organized. This is the way a family should be.
