I love that you went out of the box on this and that you share these " Letter of the law" with us Michigan Realtors. That being said, As I watched this one thing stood out to me that "The Occupational code currently provides that Real Estate Brokers and Salespersons shall not be liable for failing to reveal that the property was a sight of Suicide , murder, OR OTHER OCCURANCE prohibited by Law which had no material effect on the condition of real Property or improvements on the real property" It would be highly unlikely that the court would find the seller liable for a murder or other crime has occured in the home. So my question has to do with this influx of " Grow homes" we are seeing. The Seller disclosure does not address this and now is legal in Michigan. Does the seller or broker or Realtor have to volunteer this information ? I know is a stretch but very curious now. Could you address this on a Matter of law maybe? thank you and keep up the good work

    😂thanks for the laugh
Still seems confusing though, given court reversals and anyway how can you prove the impact of a murder on a home’s reputation? My buyers backed out on a Murder House immediately when they found out through a neighbor - luckily we were in out due diligence period.
