Great video! I’m working as a Cloud Security Engineer with Azure 🤩
That's awesome!
How long did it take you ?
@@kishmeirthompson-lt7gb it took me several months from when I started learning cloud to when I got my first cloud job but I also had a degree in computing! 😁
hello can u help mee i am 1st year mca student looking forward for a guidence
How to get in touch with you bro?
Thank you so very much for this video. I am in IT but am looking to move up into a cloud role. I hadn't heard of the AWS re/start but I am going to take a hard look at it.
Good luck!
Same here, working help desk but want to move to a cloud position.
AWS definitely best cloud to build on. Great video!
It really is!
Hey Soleyman! Thanks for this video, I am currently working as a junior Full-stack engineer, getting a lot of exposure to DevOps and hoping to transition into a cloud engineer role in a year or so. Would you be able to make a video talking about how interviews for this role are usually? How easy/difficult do you think it is to transition from software engineer to cloud? I am also self-taught, so no CS bacground. Many thanks :)
You're a gem. Just stepping into college and am 'all in' in this path, hope my journey would be great.
🙌🏻 you got this
Thanks man, just got my SAA and ready to build a new project
Good luck lad
Awesome video! I am starting my career in cloud engineering and you shared some important tips on here
me also can u help me by sharing knowledge
Glad it was helpful!
I'm in an AWS re/start program now. I am seriously considering finishing up on the skillbuilder portion of the program, and scheduling my exam early, but still following along with the training. We are in database training now. We covered Linux, Compute, Security, and Python already. I'm excited about this career move.
Love this, well done and some create topics there. Good luck on your move
Congratulations
were you new to the field or had some history coding, Linux, etc. I have little experience about Advanced A+. I'm trying to figure out what to study for. if AWS, Advance Automation controls, PLC Tech. I would love your feedback on the program you studied. I just signed up. Thank you Soleyman for this video.
What a coincidence! 😂
I discovered you on X; only to discover your channel on RUclips on my search for the road map.
This video has given me alot of insight. Thanks a bunch
Thanks for this information and getting to the point lol
Hi, I saw you're video while searching about cloud engineer roadmaps. I have zero knowledge about programming and wanted to become a cloud engineer so bad. Can I ask if I can join the AWS restart without prior knowledge about coding or programming or do I need to study some subjects so that I can understand the subjects covered in the bootcamp?
Can you please share you views on what do you think on Azure Cloud Support Engineer role who troubleshoots and problem solving user's issue in their solutions? And how one can climb up the ladder from here?
So a quick update, I sat for the exam this morning and I passed. I am now CCP certified. My instructor insists that I go after the cert according to the role I'm pursuing. So Developer cert it is
i have administrator level knowledge in Azure, and now started to learn python for development, what are more skills that i need to know to deep dive into this development journey?
I have 2 years gap after my plus 2 and I m from commerce background still now I m comfused for choosing better career for me😢
Assalam o alaikum Sir
I always saw your videos
Love from Pakistan
Keep shining more and more.
I'm unable to buy your course that's why I am searching and learning free resources but I guaranteed that how much your course would be helpful for joiners.
Keep shining Sir always love to see you ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Is it worth learning GCP over Azure and AWS?
I'm currently an aerospace engineer but looking to transition to cloud engineering mainly due to the demand for cloud engineers and to "future proof" my career. This was very insightful and clearly presented. Thank you!
Great move, good luck!
you shouldn't do it because it's required, do it if you like it, there are endless other jobs in demand but find one you enjoy
I'm ignorant to your field of work, but isn't aerospace engineering pretty future proof? And isn't it a pretty specialist area?
@michael43567 yes true. I don't think I used the right wording. The problem with aerospace is that you end up specialising in one area (mine is thermodynamics) which also has more branches of expertise (eg. Thrusters or satellite thermal control). So a thermal control engineer with 5 years experience may be useless for a company looking for a battery thermal engineer. In addition, looking for new jobs usually means moving to specific cities or even countries. What I noticed with cloud, and other tech jobs, is that almost every city have jobs avaliable and this industry continues to grow. So really, when I say future proof, I mean I want to be in an industry which will have an abundance of opportunities regardless of where I live. And if I spend 5 years in cloud I won't be restricted, which, say, 5 years of working in battery thermal engineering might do!
ah ok makes sense. Thanks for clarifying@@anthonyfelix5345
Very informative video but that weird flash during transitions is making it hard to watch.
What resource would you recommend for step 2 - operating systems (OS) ? It there one-stop best place for learning that step? Thanks.
Linux
Python aws Linux with these skills which job roles are good
I have a question - when it comes to CI/CD pipelines as a cloud engineer, let's say you're working with a developer to create them, how do you know what tests to run during the CI stage? Or are these tests something the developer helps with? For example, you might know nothing about .NET development.
Developers who are experienced in the specific stack are usually the best people to determine what tests are necessary. They can define unit tests, integration tests, and any other specific tests that are relevant to the codebase and the technology used. Don't be afraid to ask and have a chat with your developers about these things, they will help out.
If they do not know - ask their superior.
@@MP-wm9gb Thanks, that makes sense. So as I understand, the developers/QA can help with setting up any tests at the CI stage - otherwise as a cloud engineer completely normal if you're not sure about these tests etc?
Great! Informative video. Thank you for the video😁. Please recommend any trainer in udemy or you tube who can cover topics relating to cloud engineering where it can be useful for us to start our journey as cloud engineer. It is getting very difficult now a days to find a trainer on udemy as they are so many trainers.
Thank you in advance☺️
Hey! Check out my newsletter I will be sharing some great resources there
Do we need get used to Linux OS? And what do you recommend, I’ve started using it rather than windows
Yes Linux is a big part of OS in the Cloud
so i am a student b tech computer science I have completed azure az-900 can I apply for internship now or gain more knowledge about cloud?
apply even if you think you're not ready. who knows the opportunities you will encounter that can jumpstart your career
Please tell me do Cloud Engineers have 24/7 shift jobs???i work in a 24/7 role as Network Engineer and i am fed up with doing Night shifts due to my health issue, so is moving to Cloud Network Engineer is a good idea for me to work in General or 9 to 5 job?
Quick question, do i need comptia cloud plus or ccna do get hired as a cloud engineer?
No
This is Peter Parker movie seen 😅❤
Am a beginner and am interested in cloud engineer but I don no how to go about it
Check out my pinned comment and all my recent videos 😃
i'm taking my CCNA next month, is this the level of networking you need to be?
good luck with your exam! yes the ccna covers extensive networking topics so you should have no trouble connecting the dots with cloud if you pass. only difference is cloud being all virtual. let me know how it goes i want to get the ccna too
@@ant-dev thanks, will do.
Did anybody buy the Book?
Yep loads
Sir can I get a job without any degree as a cloud engineer
Yes
Do I need a degree to become a cloud engineer?
No
@@techwithsoleymanthanks
it will be a deciding factor among several candidates 😊
thanks for comprehensive and knowledge filled video. Can you please tell where I can find hands on project for cloud engineer
Misleading video just like the rest out on RUclips
How?
Great video thanks, please cut out the unnecessary and distracting background music it's pointless!
Thanks for watching
will i become cloud engineer at age of 28
Yes if you want to
I’m 38 dad of 2 toddlers and want to become a cloud engineer . Is is possible
