Beautiful! And I've always liked camels. Though they do seem to have a bad attitude most of the time. I guess I can't blame them. Poor things are always working.

For the terrain and environment in the area, camels seemed to be the best fit to do the job.

Sorry I can't remember the price. But I know it was worth it compared to walking in the dark halfway to the summit.

I would take the camel option. I love animals and I can hike in mountains over here and have done so. I sat on a camel in Turkey for a photo op but didn't ride it. I would bring apples for them as a treat.

can a person who is not fit and fat do this trail or get on the camel?

The camel ride will only be up to two-thirds of the way. The last third to the summit is a very steep hike of 750 steps (-so they said; I didn't count). Knowing that, it really is up to the person's own capability and pace.
