I cried with TRACEY!! What a relief, i'm happy for you guys. Next time we climb the everest, RIGHT? By WE, I mean you do the physical and i climb virtually! Love you guys so much!!
Pongezi Dave. I climbed Kili in 2016 at age 60. Someone should have told me, "Never climb a mountain called "Kil-a-man" but we made it. We've lived and served here as volunteers in rural western Kenya now since 2015 at Tenwek Hospital.
Congratulations guys! While watching this I virtually cried with Tracy at the the summit cos that was exactly how I felt in 2017 at the summit. That last day is indeed no joke, many don’t make it. Good video too. Thumbs up from Watamu
I have watched so many Kili videos and yours blow most of them out of the water (I knew they would). You guys are great! I'm so proud of you and can't wait until I eventually get to climb Kili myself.
Hey thank you so much Josh! We pit a ton of effort in those videos. It was quite a challenging environment to film in to say the least haha. Much appreciated. 👍🏼
Congratulations! I was there at the Uhuru Peak 15.02.1989. The whole route from Gilmans Point ahead was a snow path and the peak was covered with ice. Now, when you watch these clips from there, you can easily see the climate change. It is so sad. But still: it is a great challenge to do it!
Was I supposed to cry with Tracey when you made to the top? By far, best video I’ve watched. I’m so happy for you guys!!! And shout out to all the poters!!!
Congratulations for scaling Kili! That was a great feat! The sheer fact that you also could get such quality and consistent footage is amazing. You've made the extraordinary look "ordinary" yet I can only imagine the effort, money, emotions and determination invested into all this! You and Tracey pulled it off well as a compact team together with your two other friends.👌 I now can bet scaling Mt. Kenya is like a Sunday picnic to you! 😂
A once in a lifetime experience; one week before you we were up there as well; it is just breathtaking, isn`t it? In all means! Well done and thanks for the great footage!
This was one of my favourite videos, can’t tell you how exciting it was to see this and what an accomplishment it was for you both. I left my heart in Africa a few years ago and can’t get enough of it in your videos ❤
I wanted to see glaciers, good job to everyone, I've been following you all through. Big respect for the tour guides and the guys carrying heavy luggages, I guess they were the source of motivation/energy to those who were about to give up on the steeps
An absolute amazing adventure! The views are unbelievable! Very scary to see the lack of snow. We were in Amboseli in July, and the only water for the elephants and wildlife was from Kili. It was sooo dry. Animals zebras and tg’s dying from lack of grazing grass, and water. Loved the experience, but if rain levels don’t return to normal, I’m worried for the future. 😪😪
This is documentary standard action. I love how you have embraced my continent . Many have come before you and have taken and not given anything. You guys give as much as you take.
The fact that everyone but DAVE is affected by the altitude and hypoxia still has me amaized.....Dude come prep'd for sure....Congrats on the climb💯and most definitely congratulations on 100k...We growing stronger....
Wow congratulations guys well done. I have wanted to do this since my son did it in 2012 sorry I didnt do it with him. I have had a triple by pass end of last year and my goal is to get my fitness up and to climb kili in 2024. Your inspiration is outstanding thank you so much.
Well done Guys!! You did it!, you made it to the Top of Africa! 👏the cinematography in your Vlogs is always Top Tier👌those Arrival Shots at the Top were everything🔥
Congrats to you both for reaching the top of kilimanjaro,it was tough no joke I had tears in my eyes wen tracy cried and I cud see you were teary too dave that were tears of joy,and hats of to the porter's their task is very difficult.i enjoyed the vlogs, thank you for showing the magnificent mt kili.🙏
Congratulations Dave and Tracey. Thanks for doing what i could never achieved. Part being working all my life and never had the chance to go there.Although i was in Tanzania many times over the years always flying past Mount Kilimajaro on working trips. Now at 60 defnitly too old and full of aches. Thats a photo that you save and cherish for the rest of your lives and maybe one day your show your children. Unbelievable what great food they prepaired for you. True heros those guys. Keep well and take an well deserved rest.
Congratulations Mani and Tracy for reaching the top of mt Kilimanjaro. Not many who does it, watching the sunrise in the morning should have been wonderful. I did point Lena at Mt Kenya 2004. That's your next challenge.
Amazing amazing vid! Thank you for showcasing the entire journey and allowing everyone to have travelled with you through youtube. You guys and Climb Kili team are legends! 🙌🙌
The soundtrack is still lovely. Feeling so sorry for Tracy, I hate cold. She is wearing the warm clothes and the cold still bites, it must be uncomfortable. The view is amazing, but the height is scary. For me, down is worse than going up. 7:56 as I said before, food is always my favourite part of an adventure. I have just realized that a thousand people love mountain climbing. So many tents. 13: it is amazing how people travel long distances just to climb mountains. They managed to sing and dance, with less oxygen.😂😂😂Kudos to Tracy, I do not if I would have made it this far. 21:15 is beautiful. The night footage is awe awe awe awe awesoooooome. Felt like a movie. Thank you, I have learnt many things first hand.
Congratulations Dave and Tracy and you friends nothing to say much Tracy made Mr my tiyers come out today my tiyers of joy to c Tracy she's happy but her face shows she was nevers I was afraid for her ALHAMDULLIAH she made it 🎂this cake is for you Tracy next time Dave and Tracy and your freind arrange Mount 🗻 Kenya 🇰🇪 2 heights in Africa 🌍
Congratulations on getting to the top!! Karanga in swahili means 'fry'. Peanuts are "jungu". Now, the most common way of cooking peanuts is frying them. Accordingly, fried peanuts are called 'jungu karanga'. Therefore, I can see some connection between peanuts and karanga, but as you rightly pointed out, it has no connection to the place.

You're right. Some researcher say that in just a couple of year all the snow from Kilimanjaro will be gone. Its a disaster...
This is documentary standard action. I love how you have embraced my continent . Many have come before you and have taken and not given anything. You guys give as much as you take.
Africa is beautiful and our mission is to show it to the world! 🌍
