It's incredible how watching this makes me more aware of how a Wes Anderson movie works. From the camera zooms and angles, the type of words used in the voice-over, the repeating of the same phrase in thought and out loud, to the absurd humor of introducing a plot point and immediately rejecting it again. I am, however, most distracted by you reading the hitchhikers series. I am currently re-reading it and finally made it to "So long and thank you for the fish" after getting distracted by life too often 😅
The sort of repetition/back and forth between the monologue and the “actual” talking reminds me of A Series of Unfortunate Events in the absolute best way possible Such a relaxing and whimsical delight
