My car is 2 years old! Reached 0-100 in 8.5s! Top Speed reaches 210kmph! Only let down is its maintanence cost! Did servicing on 30000kms and costed me Rs 24778! But its a pleasure driving this car!
I own skoda octavia 2.0 tdi my car never car had service bill so big despite the dsg oil change at 60000k km and now i have crossed 1 lakh km. Please view service cost at skoda service calculator site because your dealer is looting you. I pay max 13000 for regular service.

Got my 1.8 l&k 6 months ago, what a car. I test drove 10 different cars but this one took the cake to be the best all rounder, amazing comfort, superb driving dynamics, amazingly practical and the tech that it offers is amazing at 27lakhs on road Bengaluru that is a deal ! I was leaning towards SUVs like endeavour and fortuner but those cars are complete dogs in terms of tech, comfort and driving dynamics in front of the Octavia !

One year with the car and it has been amazing. You can get the navigation as well in the virtual cockpit. Its just love.

Ashok Bharathan Apart from the normal servicing, which has been covered by Skoda's 6 year service warranty, nothing. I've just been paying for the fuel.

As much as I love the 1.8 in my Skoda, I miss the reliability and after sales service of my erstwhile Civic. VW makes fantastic cars but their ASS is a big let down.
0:54 ...Fog lights are not just for styling.....why do we call them fog light..coz they are used for better visibility of foggy situation. Yellow light has a capability of passing through fog and enhancing driver’s viewing range. That’s why the car is having a halogen light for practicality.

1.8TSI.Agreed the 1.5 I VTEC manual is a mad combo but when it comes to outright performance this 1.8 really surges forward.Specially the top end..
