    I get the feel that, 2024-29, if it happens, will be the BREAK or MAKE term for the BJP. Either the party will sink under its own weight or the crop of new leaders like Annamalai, Yogi, Fadnavis (sadly, a pale shadow of his former self), and Bandi Sanjay will take the party to new heights. A strong Modi euphoria, discredited opposition and a potent Hindutva ideology cannot insulate the party beyond a point. BJP is far from being the Congress of the 1950-89. In fact, another 2014 and 2019 like COLLAPSE will force the Congress to implement structural changes. If the party faces another rout, the Gandhis would have some serious questions to answer.

    • @pp_01123
      @pp_01123 Месяц назад +8

      Fadnavis capability will be checked in next elections. Yogi can't throw Jumla and thus can't shift huge voters from his clout (Although he may become biggest by sidelining Shah), he handles law and order well (except judicial killings) but lacks vision.
      Annamalai is froth! As person from North India our news channels potray him as big leader but in down south he is nothing. Without Modi he can't even pull 5% voting share this LS (nor other two BJP TN Ex-Chiefs can)

    👍 G8 choice of issue and analysis by SG after a long time. The data on the proportion of defectors in UP is an eye opener 👀
    It would have been even more insightful if the defectors with criminal cases, like Janardhan Reddy in Karnataka, were highlighted as evidence of the depths of shameless opportunism that the BJP can stoop down to 🧎
    This video should be shared with all "Andh Bhakts" who believe that the "Modi wave" is a pan india phenomenon, and that corruption in high places has really declined.

    The Loyalty Trap: Why Kind People Often Get Hurt
    Ellen J. Barrier says, "Loyalty is a characteristic trait. Those who have it, give it freely." But what about the cost of unwavering loyalty? Loyal people are essential, but sometimes they are the target of those who see their kindness as a weakness. Being loyal is a strength, but we also need to be smart. Don't let your loyalty be blind. #loyalty #kindness #betrayal #opportunist

    While most defectors come for opportunistic reasons, some do come for ideological reasons. A perfect example is Himanta Sarma, who came from the INC in 2015 and is not a secularist or a “Muslim appeaser” to say the least….
    Milind Deora who joined the Shiv Sena earlier this year also had a significantly more nationalistic record than most other INC members of the Lok Sabha and probably remained there the this long because he didn’t want to disappoint his father.
